okay i wanna get a cherry chocolate cell phone, from Verizon.
and i my question is:
what are the ups and downs with having that type of phone?

Well, this is my opinion on my LG White Chocolate phone, which I no longer use. I think that'd apply to the Cherry Chocolate, though. : )
Cons:
no external memory card slot
powers off for no reason
no radio
no expandable memory or battery
dropped calls
scratch and finger print prone
difficult to use
average camera quality
buttons are insensitive
Pros:
beautiful and stylish design
small and compact
good mp3
bluetooth
java

ups:
-cute&stylish
-small&compact
-easy to use, once you're use to it
downs:
-the antenna is in the bottom, so if you hold it a certain way, you might not get signal
-sliding, and the springs wear out over a period of time
-touch screen is hard to get use to
-sometimes, they randomly call people while in your pocket
