Question Posted Tuesday November 20 2007, 11:18 pm
I'm thinking about getting a tattoo (not at this moment, but within a few years)and I'm wondering where the area of least pain is. I understand its different for everyone and it's always painful to some extent, but is it true that it's less painful on more fleshy parts of your body and more on bone-y parts? I was thinking about getting it on my wrist...
that but very small (like no more then an inch and a half all around) It represents the trinity, which is meaningful to me, and I want to represent my irish heritage so I was wondering if anyone knew what "past, present, future" was in irish/gaelic, or "father, son, holy spirit" or "simply blessed"
Those words would go around the triquetra.
I also want my ears piereced, but the problem is I've had them piereced twice but the holes closed both times (both because I got an infection and had to take the earrings out for a period of time)Do you think I'm just unable to have earrings? Is scar tissue a problem? I always wore hypoallergenic earrings and cleaned my ears once a day, so I really don't understand it.
Sorry for the long questions and thanks to all those who answer!

Your skin might be rejecting that kinda of earring. Try getting a differnt type. My one friend cant have metal, so she gets fake metal and its fine.

As for the earrings, I don't know that scar tissue would be a problem. If it is, it is a very small pin hole of scar tissue, and they can pierce next to it.
Hypo-allergenic earrings don't work for me either. I use either sterling silver or gold. Sterling silver is less pricey, of course, though I got a nice pair of gold hoops for $20 at Target. But they are good metals that have never given me a problem.
Avoid pewter, etc. I don't buy it unless it says "sterling silver" or "X amount karat gold."
