advice

so next year..i have to take a foreign language.
my school only offers French and Spanish.

i dont really know which one to take..people say that french is easier..but that ill use spanish more.

any suggestions??

After five years in Spanish, I highly reccomend it. I've had to use my feeble Spanish skills on many occasions, it's much more useful. If there's more work in Spanish than French, it's definitely worth it :)

im in a tough position and im lost to what i should do about it. My boyfriend of 5 months, Alan cheated on me with my cousin well i lost my virginity to him and i was in love with him. It took me several months but i found someone else.. Dylan we dated for 8 months i took his virginity everything was good. Meanwhile my cousin and Alan dated for a bout 1 year and a month and then she dumped him for a knew guy well in the back of my mind i still had feelings for Alan, hes 19, im 16, and Dylan is 16. Alan invited me over and we started talking and he was crying and all this other stuff happened and well i ended up forgiving Alan. I broke up with Dylan and he was heartbroken i mean dylan and i had our problems to the biggest was i never saw him a lot because his my mom is a very strict lady and didnt want him seeing me because she "knows my family" meaning she thinks my family is bad well her family is bad also they sell pot out of there garage and shit but she likes to think there perfect and dont have any problems. Now im dating Alan its been 2 months when im with him its perfect but when im not all im thinking about is Dylan i cant get him out of my mind i see him with this new girl and it kills me in school like i cant handle it i have feelings for him to. Part of me wants to brake up with Alan but if i do i know ill miss him. What should i do? i have no idea and its driving me crazy if i were to brake up with Alan his sister is my best friend and she would like hate me for hurting her brother.. but i dont know what to do please help!

I know this is going to suck to hear, but cheaters don't change. Alan was your first, you're always going to have some sort of emotion towards him. Dylan's mom was you're biggest problem, so it had nothing to do with him. Dylan never hurt you like Alan did and ultimately that's what it comes down to. Alan isn't worth your pain.

I've been going out with my boyfriend, Jesse for almost 3 months now. He's really amazing and treats me so well! We've kissed and madeout but i want to go farther with him. Not all the way to having sex but farther than just making out. but he just rebels and doesnt want to. and i know he wants to respect me! but i just dont know how to let him know how to go farther! this is what ive tried...

Make sure you know he's okay with going farther, contrary to popular belief boys have morals too!

If he's okay with it, the next time you're hanging out, you could put your hand on his upper thigh, near his private region, and you could try to initiate it and that would kind of give him the hint that it's okay to go farther.

I've been seeing this guy for a few months now. He wants me to come with him to his brother's house this weekend to watch a game with him, his brother, and a bunch of his brother's friends. So basically it'll be me and a bunch of guys, plus maybe his brother's wife.

Here's the dilemma: This guy that I'm seeing is four years older than me. I'm 18 and he's 22. In the beginning we were both skeptical about the age thing but now it makes no difference to us. I've already met his parents and his friends and they are all really nice and seem to be fine with the age thing.

I've never met his brother before but I know that they very close with each other. His brother is 30 so most of the guys who will be there will be around that age. I am just going to feel SO YOUNG and out of place. I dred them asking me what school I go to and me having to tell them I'm still in high school.

On the other hand, I think it says a lot that he wants me to meet his brother and wants to bring me to this "gathering". I feel that if I didn't go i might regret it. Basically I just don't want to feel awkward or unaccepted. I don't know what to think, say, or what on earth to wear.

okay i promised my ex boyfriend that i wouldnt date his friend becasue he know that his friend likes me.....but im beginning to like his friend and i don't want to keep that promise and im afraid of hurting either of them. i know keeping it will be the best thing to do but i like him and i really want to see where it would go.

You need to talk to your ex's friend before things get any further and see how he feels about it, and find out if he's willing to risk his friendship.

You also need to talk to your ex and just tell him you can't control you're feelings and you want him to be okay with your potential relationship.

I'm 16 and like in cook county Illinois. In the last month I've gotten two speeding tickets. One was 58 in a 35, and the other was 48 in a 30. I have court October 3rd and 7th. Does anyone have any advice on how to fight these, or a smart way to go about handling these tickets.

My cousins live in Cook County and have had a similar experience.

The only thing you can do is say sorry and take your punishment. If you try to fight them, the judge might try to take away your license or have you pay an even higher fund.

Its possible... I mean you'll know what's going on but when you drink your inhibitions are lowered so you might be more willing to do something you wouldn't do sober.

Okay so me and my boyfriend had sex over 2 weeks ago. We used a condom and everything and so i didn't really think anything of it. The condom didn't split as far as i know but now i'm really worried.

I'm probably over reacting but my period is now 3days late (i know that probably sounds silly) But i'm really worried and paranoid about it. The last 4 months have been precise and it's a bit strange that i'm not 'on' yet.

You could be pregnant, condoms aren't 100% safe. I'd wait it out a few days, just to see if your body's clock is off. If it doesn't come within the week, I'd try a test =]

You're body's still getting used to having a period and ovulating and all the fun stuff. The first year is extremely unpredictable.

It'll come eventually and it'll start getting more normal later. But don't panic, it's coming! I promise. =]

Since the first time i got my period its been in a routine cycle and i could always predict what day i would get it just by previous ones. For the past two months though it has been late, it was late 1 week last month and late 2 weeks this month, im not pregnant because i did get it, but i am sexually active, and dont use birth control. im curious as to whether there is a certian reason for this recent irregularity or whether its normal or thanks. thanks in advance.

Well if you change your diet, the amount of physical activity you do, or any lifestyle change along those lines I know your cycle can change.

Since it's obviously a pain, I'd go talk to my doctor.
