made a promise

okay i promised my ex boyfriend that i wouldnt date his friend becasue he know that his friend likes me.....but im beginning to like his friend and i don't want to keep that promise and im afraid of hurting either of them. i know keeping it will be the best thing to do but i like him and i really want to see where it would go.

You need to talk to your ex's friend before things get any further and see how he feels about it, and find out if he's willing to risk his friendship.

You also need to talk to your ex and just tell him you can't control you're feelings and you want him to be okay with your potential relationship.
