Hey I'm going to this huge dance on saturday and hang out with this super popular guy who I have a huge crush on. I'm not popular, but I'm going to be hanging out with him hopefully for sure and with his friends. But I dont have anything to wear. I'm not sure if its casual or dressy.
what should I wear for dressy:

If it's dressy wear a nice dress with heels or maybe flats, depending on how dressy it is. Wear nice accessories too and spend extra time on your hair!
If it's casual, I'd go with capris, a cute tee or polo or even a slightly dressier shirt. Just wear simple accessories, and shoes that are comfy. (If you can get away with wearing comfy shoes to a dance, by all means, go for it!)

is there anything i can do to make my period start sooner. it was supposed to 3 days ago but is usually random. i have so much swimming starting tomarrow practice and for fun and bday parties with in the next week and also vacation in another country. i go on vacation in 6 days and everything else is before it i NEED it to start soon. how ill do anything?
and my mom says to not do any of it if i start my period. would a tampon help? ive never used one and i dont know how.
You could try a tampon, that would work.
If your period's randomness really bothers you, you can go on the pill. (I've been on it for three years because I had irregular/long/heavy periods.) After a few months you'll start getting your period on the same day every time, and it will last only three to five days.
Obviously this won't help you in the short run. As far as tampons go, there are directions on the box, so that should help you. I personally don't like them and only use them when I have to, but I know some people that love them.

ok lasttt summer my best friend (lets call her A) was going out with this guy(lets call him M) and every time we would hang out it would be me my best friend her boyfriend and his best friend(lets call him P) , and then i started liking 'P' but i only told 'A' because i didnt really make a big thing of it bc he was a BIGG flirt , and then one night after we went to the movies 'M' told me that his friend liked me and me and him were pretty close and i REALLLYY trusted him , i would have trusted him with my life , and i talked to the guy i liked a few times and then like a week later he was at a different friends house and i was talking to him and then every once in a while like he'd say some like heyy babbbyy and stuff like that and thats not the kindof guy he was so i new it was his friend so i basically ignored it and then a few hours later , he went home and he imed 'A' and told her to tell me that he doesnt like me and hes not sure if he ever did. and now everytime we see each other its REALLY akward like we both just like look at each other for a second then look away and we have talked like twice since this whole situation, like 2 weeks later he imed me while i was away and i saw it but like i was soo pissed at how much he hurt me that i didnt respond.(it wasnt an im saying anything important it was just he was making funn of something i had on my a/m) and at halloween we talked a little but besides taht thats pretty much it but like im still like in love with the kid and i DONT want to be like he hurt me so much like i just want to move on, but like then again i dont bc i like him so much. so basically im in DESPRETE neeed for advicee bc i dont no what to do

my friends are all older than me and they all graduated. we have always been a grade apart but now their all gone moving to go to all different high schools out of state making new friends. and im still in grade school im in 8th grade and their all...gone. were already loosing contacts. im left with nobody i cant take it. i cry myself to sleep everynight because of it. their gone forever. most are moving states. i lost everyone. what do i do?

Try to continue talking to them as much as possible--but make new friends! Try talking to other people and inviting them to hang out. If you have so many friends just a bit older than you, I'm sure you can find some your own age.
ok im a 16/f and this girl who goes to my school won't stop bothering me on myspace. and i've decided that the best way for this to stop is to call her house and talk to her parents but the problem is i can't find her number. i tried looking in the phonebook and way too many people have the same last name as her and i don't want to call every single person. so what should i do?
Okay, first things first, if you really want to get her in trouble, go to the police. They won't arrest her or fine her or anything crazy (most likely), but will just give her a warning, and they might put it on her record.
(I suggest you talk it over with your parents before doing that, though. I don't know what the police in your town are like. Some girl harassed me over AIM when I was 13 once--I'm 16 now--and I went to the police.)
If you go to the police, obviously you need to know her first and last name and if she lives in your town and whatnot. Also, print out all of the evidence of her harassing you on MySpace that you can. Block her after you do that.
Then just go to the station with the evidence. Talking to her parents about it might help to stop her, but this will even more.
so i just went to this place to get my eyebrows done and she like totally did it horrible. im not going to ask for my money back or anything but i am definitely never going back there.
they do not match my face shape and she even waxed the top hairs! i don't know what do to now, i look so ridiculous, im about to cry.. well maybe it's not so bad (i'm not quite sure, but I don't like it) so idk. this sucks and i dont know what to do.. is it going to grow back in horribly? how long will it take? gah..
Eyebrow hair grows back really fast! You might look silly for a few days to a week, but your hair will grow back normal, and you'll have your regular eyebrows back in no time.
I do cheerleading with my friend Stephie. she's one of my goood friends and she's also good friends with my two best friends sarah and johanna. Well me and my best friends have this trip to california planned out and its been planned for a long time. all of a sudden my friend Stephie was invited. online that night i IMed my friend sarah and told her that stephie was invited. turns out that stephie was on sarah's account. i told her i didn't mean it in a mean way, which i didn't! its just that we've had this planned with just my best friends and she was invited. the thing is, when i talked to my friend sarah about her being invited..she didn't mind at all. and weeks before she would mind even if stephanie was invited to something!
i don't get it at all but i didn't mean to hurt my friends feelings at all cause i love hanging out with her!! i don't think anything i say would make her think that tho
If your other friends want it to be just you three going to the California, just tell Stephie. Say you planned it in advance, and it'd be great if she came, but you guys are very close and had it planned as just you three.
Then try to make it up to her! Suggest that just you and Stephie could do something fun sometime (another trip, or something else). Make sure you tell her you feel bad and you love hanging out with her, but the trip was planned for a long time, and it was planned for just you three, and you don't want to cause any problems for anyone. She should understand.

This morning i woke up and i coudln't breathe through my nose.
After i took a shower it got a little better.
When i was at school it was fine, too.
But now that i'm home, I can't breathe in through my nose easily. I've tried blowing my nose, but absolutely nothing is in my nasal passages.
And now i can smell blood.
Help!?

It's allergy season--I wouldn't worry. If this doesn't go away in a few days, you might want to schedule a doctor's appointment.
I've never really done this advice and answer thing, but I've always wanted to and really need some advice from an outsider because it feels I can never talk to anyone about my problems.. Its just that me and my boyfriend have been going out for about 4 months and we are very serious. I really do like him and we really do have a great relationship. He makes me laugh alllll the time. And he shows me he cares about me a lot. Its just that he acts very immature sometimes and hurts my feelings a lot. I cry sometimes too. He kinda gets mad at me when I hang out with my friends because he feels like I'm ditching him. I would probably be mad too. Its just he never does it to me b.c we always hang out with his friends. B.c he's 2 years older then me. But its just, I really think that I love him. But he thinks of himself a little too highly. Like he is really really cute and he's the big hotshot on the fb team and baseball anddddd track. Not even joking. He's scores all the touchdowns, and is the best guy on the badeball team. And is county champs for track. Soooo what do you expect. His parents don't really like me that much either and they think we hang out too much, and I don't like them much either. he has threatened me all the time in going and hanging out with his old friends, so that is just what he did when I went and hung out wit my friends. B.c we got into a fight, He went to his ex grilfriends house and then after they went out. I do trust him and I don't really think anything went on, its just that it upset me . We had a big fight over it. But I think everythings alright. I do think he feels the same way about me, but sometimes I think he uses me to do stuff. If u know what I mean, in a sexual way. I don't want to make him sound like sucha bad guy, b.c he really is great to me. But he sometimes makes dumb fights about the stpidest thingsss! I hate it. But he's just does it for attention.. I usually get really jealous becuase he flirts sometimes and kinda talks about girls sometimes to get me jealous. But I think he's doing it on purpose. He's stupid like that. He doesn't sound like he's the nicest guy in the world, but he doesn't really sound like a bad guy, either. I mean, he deffinately has some really undesirable qualities. He shouldn't feel that way when you want to hang out with your friends--he obviously has some major jealousy issues.
If he's trying to use you sexually, and you're not comfortable with what he's doing or ready for it, just tell him so. If he doesn't understand, make sure you tell him "no", and if he doesn't understand after that--I'm sorry, but no matter how sweet he is to you otherwise, you need to get out of this relationship before it becomes a disaster.
As far as hanging out with your friends goes, tell him it's really unfair that you only hang out with his friends. Tell him you really care about your friends, and that it's unfair that you barely see them anymore. If he doesn't understand this and gets angry with you, I don't think this is the best relationship for you to be in. This guy sounds really possessive. I'm sure he has his good qualities, but he's going to end up controlling your life, and you don't want that, do you?

What does it mean to be in heat? Sometimes as I joke i hear people say "oh she's gonan do it i can see she's in heat". whatever that means, can't you have sex without being "in heat"?
"In heat" actually refers to a woman's menstrual cycle. I'm not really sure if human females act this way (although I'm told that we subconsciously do), but I know animals do. At the time of their cycle when they're most able to get pregnant, females tend to be hornier than normal. She may not be at this time of her cycle or not--it just means she's horny.
There is this girl I know and I really really really like her, and i know she kind of likes me back, but im not sure of it. Since I've asked her to the movies like 4 or 5 times and she said she had to do something like all of the times, so this is why I don't think she likes me. How do I make her like me more, and what can I ask her to do that she might possibly do with me?
Sadly, there's not always something you can do about this sort of thing. There's a guy that keeps asking me out, and I'm just not interested in him, so I turn him down in the same way. Move on--you'll find another girl that will be worth your time and effort.
If you really really like her, you can try inviting her to hang out with you and your friends. If you don't have the same friends as her, tell her she can invite her friends as well. I'd be much more willing to hang out with a guy I didn't have that sort of interest in if there were other people there. Hope it all works out for you!

Do you have friends from another school? If so, try to meet some of their guy friends. I met the most amazing guy that way--through friends from another school.
Is it normal for girls to have hair on their back and front like men? My sister's only 11 and she has hair everywhere but when I see girls at the beach they don't have hair (And I looked really close at the blonds because their hair is see through). My friend doesn't think so but just to be sure.

It's normal. Hair is normal. Hair is more noticable when it's dark, that's all. I have some in these regions, and if it bothers her enough--yes, she can get rid of it by many ways listed already.
People in American put so much pressure on being "beautiful", which, many times, means having no body hair what-so-ever. In some foreign countries, hair is found sexy.
At the beach, I'm sure at least one girl there normally has hair on her back or stumoch and waxes/shaves/whatevers it off before going. I don't want to be hair when I show a lot of skin either.

I've done those online calculators and they say i am, but you can't really trust those things because they don't take in to consideration a lot of important factors, you know. Why is it sometimes when I'm on my period that my er, thing down there is REALLY sore? I've had my period since I was 11 and I'm now 16; I'm also a virgin.
If you have a heavy flow, this may be causing it.
If you're using a tampon, that might also be irritating it. Pads can, too, especially if your period is long and you have pads on for long amounts of time.
heyok i got my eyebrows done yesterday. They used to be like thick and kinda screwed up but its now its thin.it looks really weird cause im not used to it. Anyways the skin above my eye is like swollen and it makes my eye look bloated. Is there anything I can do to make it un-swollen?? Thankss
If this is your first time getting your eyebrows done, just wait it out. This happens to some people, even after many times of getting them waxed. (I'm assuming they were waxed when you say you got them done.) Sometimes, depending where I get mine done or whether I wax them myself, that area swells or breaks out as well. It usually calms down after a few days (meaning 1 to 3, more for break-outs sometimes). You can cover it up with make-up to make it look better, but leaving it alone helps it heal faster sometimes.
okay. so my boyfriend writes songs/sings/mixes songs/plays guitar. and whenever he writes a song his away message says new music listen and then he has a link. and I honestly don't know if I should say like ohh I like this song it's so cute! or this song is awesome! or something because I don't want him to be like ew why is she judging my music she knows nothing about music. and If I don't say anything I don't want him to be like oh she must not like my music I must suck. If you're his girlfriend, or friend for that matter, I'm sure he'd like to hear how you feel about his music. Of course, I wouldn't tell him, "OMG THIS SUCKS!", but just give your honest opinion on it. Tell him if you like it or which ones you like better, even. Of course, I wouldn't be too discouraging and criticize him too much, but he might even want some criticism as well.
If he wonders why you're judging him, then it's his fault for putting it up like that. Everyone who hears it will judge him, whether they share their opinion or not.

hello, ok this is kind of embarasssing but i have a problem because i am self concious about my hairy buttocks and lower back...ive tried using products like nair for body but my skin is sesitive to it and it irritates my skin.......does anyone have any sggestions exceot for shaving and laser hair removal.....i need it to be cheap....thanks
Try getting your hair waxed off or buying waxing kits. Nair doesn't really work that well whether it irritates you or not in most cases. (The hair grows back quicker than it does with waxing.)
by friend is mad because i like a boy she doesnt know... she like tells me who i can and cant be friends with... she also buts in with my relationship....she has major jealousy issues. what should i do...help please

Kindly tell your friend to stop butting in on your relationships. If she doesn't listen and still tries to tell you who you can and can't be friends with, try telling her with more force and meaning. If she continues to do things ilke this to you, then I wouldn't be friends with her anymore. She's just going to mess up your life--believe me, I've had "friends" do this to me.
