Hey, i play for an AAU basketball team and im in charge of making the teams warm up cd and i have no clue what to put on it! If anyone has any ideas of good songs to put on the cd plz let me no! first of all, i apologize for the misspelling of 'skating', and the general idiotic appearance of the title. but it worked, didn't it? you came in here to correct me! :P
i am a 16 year-old rookie skater (female) who can't ollie yet.
i was at the skateboard-city.com forums, and this guy posts a rather mean post about how most of the girls that skate are posers, who skate to try to get with 'skater boys', or to get the whole 'skater punk rock' look.
whe someone calls you a poser, the first reaction is to deny it. so of course all of the female skaters on that site protested, but it made ME wonder...
am i a poser? i wish i could say no, but i honestly don't know. there are various reasons why i started to skate (about six mo. ago).
i can definitely say that i didn't start skateboarding because i thought the 'skater style' was hot or anything. i am a "girly-girl" however, i'm not so sure about the skater boy factor. what if i unconsciously DID start to skate because i wanted to meet skater boys? i know it's definitely true that i wanted to make some friends (regardless of gender) through skateboarding.
also the fact that skateboarding - just skateboarding around your town and on the streets itself looked "cool" was a part of the reason why i started. but is this necessarily bad? don't guys get inspired, after seeing a skating video, to do better because of how 'cool' it looks?
and, is it possible to start off as a poser (start skating to look cool or meet guys or whatever) but to change along the way?

okay..im ending my freshman year. I realized theres one thing i know i could do for the rest of my life, thats play basketball. Now theres a real problem which is im only 5'4 and i dought ill get to much taller maybe 5'7 5'8 IF im lucky. Well this summer im gunna train for ball but STAY on JV so I can be with the same coach. Im talkin bout followin a strict diet all of that.
Do you just think im wastin my time? I mean I do live in a small town where hardly anyone gets noticed and i do have a height disadvantage. (link)

im sry you wont play bbal for the rest of your life you will prolly stop at around 35. i play basketball and im 13 6'2 and im considered short. so i would try out for something like golf which i also play. that is a sport you will play forever. but do what you wnat to if your shot is really really good you might need to persue it.

i have a friend that her dad abuses her sexually. she told a teacher out at the school. ever since she has moved in with her grandparents her dad hasnt touched her. all just becouse she told somebody. so my advice is tel a responsible adult. i.e. youth pastor, teacher, guidance counceler

this question dosent really go under friendship..but there was nothing else i coul put it under...anyway..i got a dvd player for christmas and i have some good dvd's like napolian dynamite but i get sick of it if i watch it alot and the day after tommorrow but that is pretty long and finding nemo but that aso gets kinda boring... the only movie that i enjoy watching is my favorite movie ever...sweet home alabama...i dunno what it is about that movie but i never get sick of it...does anyone have any other movies that are good and they never get sick of? cause i would really like another movie to watch! lol =) (link)

ok so im goin to start off with the story..me and my boyfriend have been goin out for a year and 9 months...and this new gurl popped up in the picture and shes "just a friend"...and me im not liking this..well one night he left my house and acted like he was goin home and goes over to her house to show her his new car soo he says..well i fliped out and yelled at him..soo now its been about 2 months and this is still goin on and i have told him i didnt like it and to stop..but its like he doesnt care what i say they hug in the hall talk on the phone text eachother when im with him..and i cant take it anymore..i have tried to talk to her about it and told her she need to lay off but she just dont get it..i need to know what to do about this cause im all out of clues..please help me soon..thanks..--BabyGurl-- (link)

I would like to ask something. My best friend and I experimented and were both girls and were both 13. We kissed each other, felt on each other and kissed each other's neck. As the days go on after we experimented I haven't had any thoughts about other guys. My friend and I act like were a couple or something. When she goes to her dad's house we miss each other more, I want to hug her and never let her go and we talk about experimenting again like it's just a regular thing to do now. Im on JV bball..and our coach flipped out on us a couple days ago. I dont mean just yelling..but he started hitting the bleachers behind him...quite scary. He thretened to quit.Hes frustrated because we arent doing things right..we are an ok team but we arent good.
I like him as a coach..he just has his little incidents. Is there anything i can do to make him not quit? (link)

I just recently moved out of my house and into my uncles house and he is a hardcore Christian man and believes that anything not christian is "of the devil", I myself am a follower of the old pagan type religions and he kind of found out and alwayz makes little jabs at me for not believing in god and tells me im going to hell and i dont know how to deal with it..if i tell him that i dont believe in god, he might kick me out of his house....what should i do...pretend not to believe what i do or tell him to stop?
