My aunt was planning to get a dog and I was helping her find one online. But my uncle doesn't like dogs or any kind of animals (and they already had cats).And my aunt really wants a dog.Which she hope she gets. But I need a list of convincing ways to get my uncle to say yes to get the dog. I already told her to tell him,"This is my dog and I got it for myself."

There are many quiet, low matinence dogs that your uncle could deal with. Tell your aunt to talk to your uncle and discuss what kind of dog she wants. I think they should both meet halfway with a sweet overall quiet dog. Although if she wants a louder breed she can always de-bark it. Good Luck to your aunt!

About three months ago my boyfriend found this very sick kitten who has only one eye and is going blind in the other. we fed and gave him water. gave him a bath and took him to the vet. the veterian wanted to put the poor kitten to sleep but i wouldn't let him. so he gave us medication.. he gave us eye drops to stop the infection in his eyes and aintiboics for him which he fishined it. his eye drops are allmost gone. three months later which is now he's sick again. he's eating but not drinking water so i took a turkey baster and gave him water. i haven't seen him go to the bathroom. so i dont know if he's got worms. he has a runing nose and when you pick him up he has a tantrum and makes a loud meowing noise. please help me.. i have no money for the vet? Do you know any friends who may be able to pay for the vet bill? I'm sorry to say but it may be best to put him down if that is what the vet has suggested. If you don't want to however it's very important that he sees a vet. From my experiences sometimes when an animal goes blind they can't live a good life and are miserable. I'd give him a year of hard work trying to make him better but if he is unhappy and ill I would follow the vets suggestion and put him down.

How long do you personally keep a tampon in? Like how many hours before you have to change? Also, about how many do you go threw in an average day? Because it seems like i'm constantly changing mine, and its annoying. This is for girls obviously, lol=]. (link)

No more than 8 hours but i think that is really pushing it so i would change every 3-6 hours.

I know i just put this out but i need more answers. Ok my bffs birthday is coming soon and its her 13 and i know its a big day for a girl to become a teenager so i was thinking if anyone had any ideas what to do for her birthday or what to get her. She loves acting and she loves horses. And i was thinking a suprise b day or taking her to new york to see a broadway show? But it might be to expensive. I dont have alot of money but she means alot to me and i could get it if i worked hard. anyone have any ideas??? thanks i rate.

Try something like "hey wanna hang at the prom with me" if whe says if he has a date you get one too and you'll still be able to hang as friends.

im getting a conure, and i cant decide between sun, blue, or green cheeked. is there any difference with their dispossitions? if so, which is better?and what is the average price of the different species?

I have had all three and my favorite are sun conures they are really sweet and kind. As for the cage enough room for him/her to move around and have fun. Also when owning a bird they need daily attention. They probably won't go over $1k in price.

Usually around 14 months but if you are thinking about breeding you should wait until she is after 2 years.

Oh that's awful. Put up signs. If your dog is really nice someone might try to keep it. So on the sign put that it needs medicine. When you get it back make sure you give him a microchip if he/she doesn't have one already. Also chack all the local animal shelters.

I found a kitten the other day at work, I think it was dropped off there. It is infested with fleas they are all over him. I have given him the treatments that you squirt stuff behond there necks, I have given him a flea bath but they are still all over him. What else can I do to get rid of the fleas. I feel bad because I am leaving him in a rabbut cage thats pretty big in the garage, because I don't want to bring him in the house and get all my other animals infested, so what else can I do to eliminate all these little critters? yes but if you think he/she might chew on her paw after it wrap up her foot but the best thing you could do is take him/her to the vet.

on 7/11/07 me and my boyfriend had sex, he used protection. i should have gotten my period 8/4/07 but i haven't and i'm rly worried. yesterday i seen a little brown discharge, so i used a tampon, pulled it out hours later..nothing? and when i woke up today..still nothing!

Just because you use protection there is a chance it won't work. Not to mention your period doesn't always come exactly on time. My opinion? Talk to your mom.

when trying to watch my weight, what should i look for? in the beginning, i watched calories. then fat grams. now i'm starting to look at carbs, but i have no idea what i'm doing.
i'd look at everything in a health-wise way, but knowing me, i'd end up starving myself or something.
i don't understand the saturated/trans/regular fats, either.. basically if anything have 8+ fat grams, i stay away.
so, what should i watch for more? also, what should i have in each serving. example for meals, how many calories/how much fat?
and then same for snacks.

First of all just make sure you get proper nutrition. Talk to yuor doctor he/she might have some tips. Ask him/her how much calories etc. you should be getting a day and then count it up. Hope I helped!

this september, i'm going to be going into high school. i have a few questions. - you don't have to answer all of them; even if you can answer one, i'd be greatly appreciative.
1.) what's the FASTEST way to learn the map of my school? - besides getting a map & memorizing it
2.) how do i not become nervous the first few weeks when i'm getting accustomed? [like when i get lost, etc.]
3.) any tips on how to survive at least freshman year?

Not in highschool yet but I think the best way to survive freshman ytear is to get some older friends. Don't be intimidated. As for learning the map of your school try breaking it down into learning different parts of the school and eventually you can put it all together. If you get lost don't panic some teachers are lenient for the first few weeks about tardiness. Have fun you'll make it!
