I'm generally not a shy person, but when you put me up in front of my whole entire class...things change. I either turn really red, forget everything, start shaking, etc. I was absent, so I couldn't help my partner with a project and the day I went back, the teacher told me that I had to do it by myself. Now, I have to go up in front of my class and present an African Fable with a moral that I made up. It sounds so stupid and plus we have to MEMORIZE it! She won't even let us use our paper, which is going to make me even more nervous since I have nothing to hold. We also have to draw a picture and I'm not the best drawer, so that's just going to make it even more embaressing. Everyone else in my class had a partner, but since I'm by myself...blah. I don't know what to do. I don't want to be so nervous about this tomorrow morning. Is there any way that I can calm down before the presentation and not act and feel so nervous? (link)

Oh, I have the same exact problem. I have to present a Macbeth soliloquy tomorrow in front of the whole class because I didn't do it on Friday because I totally lost it and froze up.
This is how I'm going to try and overcome it:
I've been trying to focus on the material rather than 'HOLY SHIT LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE!'... I hope that works for me tomorrow.

My friend Haley's mom is elderly. Haley says that every time she asks her mom to clarify something her mom jumps down her throat. Haleys mom tells Haley you are going to send me to an early grave. In addition her mom gets mad at Haleys sister as well. Haley wants to know any suggestions on how to handle her mom and is this normal for her mother. Her mother is 82. (link)

15/f. I have a conflict with my best friend, who is 14/f. First of all, I am not your average teenage girl: I'm artsy, I would like to become a professional musician, I've never had a boyfriend, and I don't consider shopping a hobby. My best friend is the typical prep. I don't have a problem with this at all. My problem is that she is always telling me that I need to get a boyfriend or a date to whatever formal, or that I need to be more like the average teenage girl. But this isn't what I want at all, and I am completely happy with myself at this point in my life because instead of concentrating on boys, I concentrate on what I love to do: music. So it seems as if my best friend is trying to control me. Lately, she's obsessed with having a boyfriend, no matter who it is. And that's her business, but she drags me into crap like that. I never give in to her controlling manner, but it gets freaking annoying to the point where I don't even want to be around her anymore. How can I tell her to not be so controlling, yet still keep our friendship? Thank you! (link)

from what I hear, IMVU has spyware and it's a program that's dangerous to download. try AIM, YIM, MSN, or even ICQ. AIM is the most popular.

You can use any image editing program you want, but you should learn how to use default Microsoft Paint first and get comfortable with it before you graduate to Photoshop. Try playing around with images and editing, etc.

I am a 14 year old female and I am the younger sister. I have an older sister and I live with my mother. Me and my sister are total oppisotes down to the tee. My sister is tall, beautiful, SKINNY, smart, etc. I'm none of those. I am pretty smart but I slack off alot. My mom and my sister have this really good relationship but I don't. My mom makes my sister monitor me. Sure I'm a little overwieght but my mom brings it up everywhere infront of everybody. She makes me feel like I'm a disgrace. She compains about how much I eat and what I do because I watch TV. She always compares me to my sister. She talks about how she eats better and what she was like at my age. I feel so wrong. I feel like I don't deserve to be here. They both go out on dates and I'm left alone which doesn't bother me as much because when they are home they complain about me and what I do. I'm pretty but just a little chubby. But i feel like no one really cares who I am. My mom and sister go through my room together or used to read my diary. What do I do. I don't wan to talk to anyone because I've tried that. Don't tell me to talk to them because I have and they understood and then the next day they forgot even when I asked them. I feel lost and hurt because my family really doesn't care. I need to know how I can make this better or if there are people I can talk to wihtout being there face to face because I'm a little sensitive.

So you know what's wrong, but you also need to know how to fix it.
You can't fix the fact that your mom and your sister suck. Find support- get out into the world and make your life mean something! Get into a sport, a hobby, a club. It sounds cheesy, but if you can get out of the house where they are, and you start doing something healthy that you enjoy, you succeed.

Ok, my boyfriend and I dont live close to each other, and we dont go to the same school, so we can only hang out, for the most part, on weekends. He is 15, and I am 14, and of course our parents wont let us go anywhere out just the two of us. And he doenst want to go to teh mall and the movies, because that is all we have done so far. And we usually go out with two other people, but we need ideas on things we can do, if the 'group' part, cant make it. SO I guess my question is: what are things we can do? His mom approved me coming over his house, but thats in te afternoon, and we are not sure what we should do. And I really want to spend time with him. HeLP!!!
