I need advice on how to be platonic friends with a man. I'm not good at it, at all. I have met this man who I have pretty much fallen very hard for, but for various serious reasons on both sides, nothing can come of it. I think there is attraction on his side as well, but we have discussed it and we know it can only be a good friendship. I need to know, what are the best ways to gear my feelings down, and how do I keep a close friendship with this man without smothering the relationship or allowing the disallowed feelings to show? I'm a 37-year-old female.

Feelings are irrational. If you cannot discard them, then perhaps your best course of action is to attempt to locate a more suitable prospect and transfer your affections to him.
As for keeping your friendship, that should be relatively simple, assuming that both you and he are sincere and committed to keeping things as they are. If, however, one or both of you wish to engage in clandestine gamete exchange, the situation may get more complicated. To avoide that outcome, it would be best to socialize with him only when a herd of humans are present. The longer you spend with him as just one of many members of your friendship cohort, the easier it will be for your feelings to remain appropriate.

Ok see im 13 and im normal weight for a 13 yr old girl, but it seems like all the boys in my grade are smaller.. i mean literly smaller than me- shorter and less weight. i don't no what the " deal " .

To all you guys out there and to all girls who might know what to do here's a little quesion for you. This guy that i like wrote me this amazing letter with a bunch of poems and REAAALLLY sweet, breathtaking stuff in it. Like REALLY! i let my 19 year old friend read it (and she's had like 1000 Boyfriends) and she had no clue what to write back. Does anyone know anything cute and sexy to write back (even though you dont know what he wrote) do you by any chance know what makes a guys heart beat really fast? (for the guys) Is there anything that you would like if a girl wrote to you in an e-mail? Anything really sexy/cute/sweet..but not too serious i dont wanna scare him away. Also, this guy has ALOOOOT of girls, and they're all really hott - older- girls so they probably all say the right things..so im a little worried. And even though i know he's probably sent that poem to about 1000 girls, i dont care..i still wnat him. And i want to send him an e-mail that will make him speechless. Any ideas? Hey! I am a girl, and a sophmore!
I am taking Geometry this year! today was my frist day, and my Geo. teacher has different teaching styles, and I am finding it very difficult to learn. He is really into using logic, and I am totally a streat smart person.
Do you have any tips or sugestions to help with this? is there anything that I can do with my notes or anything to help?

Logic is one of the fundamental tools of rational thought. Unfortunately for you, it does not appear to be an innate ability of human beings. The sophonts of Deneb VII are born knowing logic and indeed spend most of their lives doing nothing other than proving theorems and reproducing.
My suggestion for you is to realize that logic is like the rules of a game. Just as in chess, certain pieces can move only in certain ways, in logic, certain statements can be manipulated in certain ways. For example, take the statement:
All humans are mammals.
This statement is true. Perhaps we could try manipulating the statement as follows:
All mammals are human.
This is clearly not true. A capybara is an example of a mammal that is not a human. Changing our first statement into the second is an example of an illegal move in the game of logic.
However, a legal rule in the game of logic is to turn it into:
No non-mammal is human.
This is a true statement, because it follows from using a legal logic rule on a true statement.
Logic in geometry is very similar. There are rules to the game, and as long as you play by the rules, you cannot go wrong. The difficulty is in learning how to effectively use the rules to move in the right direction toward the finish line.
Remember, logic is just a game with rules. If you play the game well, your mental awareness will rise to the next level.

Hey. I'm 13/female. See, my mom just sent me to go live with my dad who.. well he hits me a lot, and sometimes he touches me in places that..ehh your father shouldn't go. And yes, my mom does know this, she just doesn't want me and my sister living with her full time. I cant tell the police because im the only person he does stuff to and it owuld kill my sister and step-family if he were put away... and the would all hate me. Your father is not functioning rationally.
It is a parent's duty to protect his offspring.
By abusing you, he is not fulfilling his duty as an intelligent being.
Offspring abuse is illegal on all 87 of the planetary systems in the Galactic Sodality. There is no rational excuse for this behavior.
I will now attempt to be sensitive to your desire to not create discord within your family relationships. My suggestion is to seek out an adult human you can trust. Another family member, a family friend, school teacher or counselor. You must tell this human about your situation and gain his or her aid in confronting your father. Together, you must demand that your father stop the abuse. If you consider your father capable of violence, the two of you must take precautions against this possibility, such as having a portable communication device by which you can summon the appropriate authorities.
The final analysis: If the abuse does not stop, you must alert the authorities! Your father understands the law; he understands that what he is doing is wrong. If he disregards the consequences and continues in his irrational behavior, you must see to it that he gets the help he needs.

Hey.. I am a 17 year old female.. And I am really REALLY stuck between these two guys. {D and G}.. I really like them both, me and "G" have more in common though. BUT my parent's don't want me to date "G". They like "D".. And I am not allowed to see "G" (Sorry if I am not making any sense!) I really really like them both though, and the both are really nice guys. The thing is, "G" keeps asking me out, and he knows that I like him... And I would love to go out with him again.. BUT... "D" is a person that I don't have to hide from my parents, and I don't have to lie about.. But I am really stuck, because I think I like "G" more... What should I do?!? (link)

Ask yourself honestly: Does G have genuine flaws as a potential mate?
Parents are rightly concerned about the destiny of their genetic data. Perhaps G has genetic flaws that should not be passed on to your progeny. Or perhaps G has behavioral flaws that may be undesirable.
Although your parents are making G unavailable to you, this alone should not give G greater value in your mind. That would be a logical fallacy.
Parents are often wise with age; therefore, you should choose D. If, however, you sincerely feel that your parents' objections are unjust, then you must follow your hormonal urges and choose G.
