ruby red lipstick is very dark... almost like a firey color... its basically saying that oyu can't fight fire wiht fire... my mom says that phrase all teh time ... as stupid as it is.. thats all it means. its the same phrase as "you cant fight fire with fire"

I have a stepmother, her name is anne. She's only 15 years older than me, and my dad is 17 years older than her! I hate her, but i'm still nice to her...She's bothering me!!!! If your dad is happy wiht ehr then let it alone.. If it is truely bothering you that this women is pretending to be your mom then sit down wiht her and tell her how it makes you feel. Tell ehr that although you are haopy for her and your dad, you would prefer it if she treated you more like a friend and less like a mom. If you don't feel comfortable talking to her about this then talk to your dad.. he'll be able to talk to her. If you dont feel comfortable doing this eihter, then try writing a note or a letter to either "parent". tell them how you feel. that always works for me...

does anybody know any jobs that will allow 14 year olds to work for them
like there's a harris teeter (grocery store)
and a walgreens (pharmacy)
opening right up the street from me
also a blockbuster and bank of america
does any1 kno if any of those allow 14-15 year olds to work there
also if u know any other places that aren't in food service, i don't wanna work anywhere like McDonalds or anything (link)

IN order to have a job you ahve to be 16 years old... if you really need a job try babysitting... it pays well fr me... but inorder to have an actually regular job wiht a paying salary, you need a work permit which you can only get once u turn 16

In my opinion, 14 is definatly too young to be having sex! I have not had it and i plan on keeping it that way until i am married. However, I do know some people who have had sex. A good friend of mine had sex with her boyfriend when she was 14 and it ruined her life. She became pregnant, her boyfriend(who she thought she loved and loved her) dumped her, and her parents kicked her out of her house. She was devestated adn is now living wiht her grandparents.
Another friend of mine also had sex, however, she did not have nearly as hard of a time. Her boyfriend did dump her but she did not become pregnant so ehr family is not aware.
Althoguh the choice is up to you, I would highly recomend that you not do it. The consequences that could possibly follow are very numerous. Think long and hard about this one before you do it because your virginity is something you can only give away once.

Calm down... youa r eonly 14.. you don;t need to be worrying about boyfriends and stuf...
Typically at your age (or any age for that matter) guys are shy about asking thigs sto girl especially girls tehy like. Chances are that you are a pretty girl... maybe guys are just scared.. often times guys are also intimidated by pretty girls... have u ever gotten teh feeling that a guy was too good for you? well guys get that feeling too!
Just relax and be yourself and eventually you will find the right guy for you too..

I wouldn't answer unless he asks again and if he does ask again, just tell him yes so that he can move on.. If you are uncomfortable then jsut say yes and start up a new conversation immediatly. You don;t have to rush into anything that you don't want to do! just let him know you want to tkae it slow if he starts to rush...

All my life ive never been the new kid ,I just got out of 8th grade (frum a private skool)and all my frends come frum diff towns so the highskools we are going to are gunna be differant anyways i dont know anyone in my new skool ill be going to in September so i was jus wondering if you think ill meet new ppl and make sum frends just like whats it like???? cuz im mad freaked out (link)

its seriosuly no big deal. i had to go through a similar thing when going into high shcool. i came from a public school and so only 5 of the kids from my grade were going to the same high schoola s me. I went to a catholic schoola dn teh rest of my friends went to the public high school. i had no classes wiht these other 4 people from my school and so i really was the new kid. within 2 days i ahd more new friends than i could count... all you have to do is go up to people and say hi, ask their naem, what school they wen to, that sorta thing.. tis not ahrd at all so dont worry abotu it!!

My guy's away this summer and is supposed to call me every other day or something and it's been like ten days. Today's our 8-month mark. Just opinionwise - should I call him? I called him last time we spoke on the phone.
My mom suggested I make him wait - "let him miss you and call you." She put it this way: "If you don't call him and he doesn't call you, you'll be upset that he didn't call. If you DO call him, you'll still be upset that he didn't call."

I think your mom is wrong. He;s away, maybe he's a little busy sometimes. Or maybe he gets distracted easily and forgets to call. Either way it no big deal. I think that you shoudl call him. Aniversary or not, why does he have to be the one ot call you?

ok..there is this guy, and ive gone out with him a couple times now, but then he dumped me the last time for no reason. i tell people im over him, but im really not. and when im w/ him he makes it seem like he still likes me, but then online hes really mean to me and will just start yelling at me for no reason?? what should i do?..

its always going to be hard ot get over a guy... especially ones that you may think meant a lot. but take a step back and look at the way he's treating you.
there is nothign wrong with teh fact that you still ahve feelings for as most people do after they break up. It is better that you end it now before you get even more hurt.
