ok i live in baton rouge louisiana...and at the mall we have rainbows by paulette (great place!) and this past year just about at every school and everywhere else all the girls all ages where bows (ive got about 12 from there) big, color ones! soo...i was just wandering if this was just a think in baton rouge...PLEASE tell me
Nobody really does that here. I mean, people'll tie ribbons in their hair, but nobody uses like, big hairbows. I guess it's just a thing there.
My toes are hairy.. what should i do about that? (im a chick)
I guess you could shave them or use some kind of wax // nair // something like that.
How do i tell my parents i have an eating disorder? i promised my best friend i would do something about it after her reading my journal and finding out. im miserable and depressed and cant stop. how do i tell them?

It's NOT your fault, and your parents are probably going to be happy that you told them and you want to get help instead of waiting until something terrible happens and .. yeah. So, it's going to be ackward, but you need to just sit down with them and say it straight out. If you need support, see if your friend'll come over and you can do it then. ok i have known this girl for about 10 years and lately she been rapidly loosing weight and not eating anything whenever she does she runs to the bathroom, and one time i followed her into the bathroom and i heard her throwing up when i confronted ehr about it she just denied it and said it wasnt her throwing up but i followed her in there and i know it was her she was the only one in there besides me and im really scared for her i dont want her to die from this and i love her and she means the world to me how could i possibly get her to realizxze that she needs sum help?
Yeah, most people with eating disorders deny it. You should try to talk to her about it again, though, before she does some permanant damage [[ if she hasn't already ]]. Make sure you're there for her when she needs you, and try not to get angry with her. If she won't get help // tell someone, you should tell an adult that you can trust .. her parents, a school counselor, etc. Hopefully she'll get some help soon. Good luck! :o)

Does anyone else have flashbacks about things they regretted doing or things other people did that unnerved you? I have never done LSD or anything like that. I know they aren't real. It doesn't keep me from doing things, but it makes me shrug sometimes in reaction to it.
I think pretty much everyone has flashbacks of their past. I have them a lot about like, stupid things I did or things I regret doing // not doing. I think it's perfectly normal :o).

The same thing happened to me and my old best friend a while back, but we were only seperated for a year. We pretty much stayed best friends throughout it. Just make sure to keep in touch with her, talk on the phone // computer a lot, go to the mall + the movies, do all of the things that you guys do now, and it should be alright. Good luck! :o)

k i kno my catrgory isnt right, i just picked one...ok heres my problem:
i have an outie belly botton...i kno gross right but if i got it pierced would it look bad? or should i just get surgrey n make it an inny?
If you really want to get it pierced, just get it pierced, it's not that big of a deal :o). If you don't like it, you can always just take it out.

I've decided to start using tampons because I get my period every two or three weeks and it lasts for a week and I dont wanna sit home for a whole week for most of the summer and do nothing. Well the other day I got my period so I used a tampon and when I took it out, it hurt. Is this normal? This question is to the girls so please help me out!
There are a few possibilities ..
- it could just be a matter of your body getting used to it
- you could've pulled it out at an odd angle
- if the tampon is still pretty dry, it tends to hurt, so try using a lower absorbancy or leaving it in longer
I'd try using the junior // slim kind for now, and seeing if that helps at all.

Work on layups + stuff with your left hand .. just do everything you practice normally with your right hand with your left hand instead + it should get stronger.

...i play soccer a lot and im kinda busy...i realli wanna be able to do like back walkovers and stuff...without coaches...can u give me like TONS of tips that would help me learn how?? thanx
You can start by working on bridges to see how much flexibility you have on your back // become more flexible, and then you can work on doing backbends [[ try them walking your hands down the wall ]], and then just start to kick over. Try having a friend spot you or using some mats, just so you don't get hurt [[ i know, it's unlikely that you will, but it could happen ]]

i feel like when im playing sports i have certain expectations to look up to cuz my sisters are all awesome at soccer and basketball and then there me and i think im not that good. but all my friends disagree. idk...wut do i do?
Don't worry about being better than your sisters, just try to playing better than you've ever played before and work on improving your skills.

Practice a lot, try out for the basketball team if your school has one. See if the rec department has any programs. Join summer // out of school teams, go to basketball clinics // camps. Good luck :o)

You've probably just been hanging out too often .. most people'll get sick of someone that they're around all the time. Just try not doing stuff so often and you'll probably start to feel differently. :o)

my mom has been really mean to me and my brothers lately and i think it is because her and my dad who are divorced are having arguements because she wants to move to a different state, what do i do!
