so i went to am-i-fat.org.
and they told me i was overweight.
i have a bmi number of 25.
and i need to loose about 10-15lbs to be healthy.
there's only one problem.
i used to diet alot. and i lost 20lbs from it.
it was easy.
but lately, i've been getting off track.
especially with eating.
and now i have two lunch periods. so the temptation to eat is even higher.
i think i can get the excersise thing taken care of.
just by walking home every day (it takes me 40 minutes to get home).
i guess what i need.
is some tips.
and maybe some pep talk?
i really want to do it this time
and not give up.
Don't give up! You sound like you're on the right track!
Maybe you can jog home from school. Do some sit ups. Try not to eat too many carbs. DON'T DRINK SODA. empty calories. drink a lot of water. eat fruits and vegetables for lunch. try to stick to your diet, it was working really well!get involved with a sport.

Yesterday I started school for the new school year and I was really excited about seeing my friends because I had been in Colorado all summer. I came back and in the early morning, none of them even bothered to say "hello". I don't know if they didn't see me or if they were simply snubbing me. I was miffed at first, but quickly shrugged it off. I renewed most friendships to almost what they were by lunch, but when I came to sit in my seat, there was another girl whom I just happen to extremely dislike, seated there. The tables in our lunchroom are allowed only 8 chairs per table and so I sat with 3 or 4 other girls I knew sitting at the opposite table. I was quite upset but I assumed that she would just sit there for the day. Today I came back and found her there again. Everything was normal because I pulled over a chair, but moved back to the other table by myself when a teacher scolded me. I am very, very upset about the fact that this girl seems to have taken my place with my friends, even though I KNOW that only one girl at my former table actually likes her. I thought of sitting with other friends but all of the other tables with them are filled. Should I accept the fact that this girl has taken my place, or should I try to take back my former importance in the group? By the way, I can't get to the table first because she has a classroom about 2 times closer than mine.
First off: You need to talk to your friends. Tell them that you wanna sit with them, but don't yell at them, or argue or anything. That'll start drama. And drama's a bitch. haha.
Try to become friends with the other girl. I know its hard. And I'm probably being hypocritical, because I tend not to try to be friends with girls i hate, but i just get along with them.
Tell your friends you feel like you've been replaced. Don't be naggy, or bitchy, just be really honest. If they are good friends, they'll work something out so that you'll be able to sit with them. If they say "too bad" then they aren't good friends AT ALL. try to become closer to the other people you sat with, just don't force your way in.

if you have sex like a lot in a 3 months.. and then just stop can your period cycle change because im almost 2 weeks late and i havent gotten it yet and i did have unprotected sex but i dont think im pregnant.
If you had unprotected sex, its likely that you are pregnant.
if you are a teenager, its normal for your cycle to change.
the best way to figure this out is to get a pregnancy test.

Me and one of my best boy mates have recently got together, I mean very recently, only a few days ago.
And we're both really shy so it's not going anywhere. I mean, we don't really act like we're going out apart from the fact we generally walk around together and hug when we say goodbye.
If we were alone I'd be much more comfortable, but we havn't been alone since we started dating, and I feel really self-conscious in front of everyone else.
What should I do about it?

The best way for you two to be alone is to go to one of your houses. If you don't wanna do that, you can go to the movies, the mall, or ANYTHING.
you shouldn't feel self conscious, theres no reason to! he obviously likes you if he asked you out, and you obviously like him if you said yes!you should also tell you boyfriend how you feel. he might feel the same way, but if he doesn't he'll help you gain confidence

one of my friends is having an early halloween costume party at the end of september. i want to go as a female pirate, but i dont want to buy a costume because i think those look cheap lol. i want to wear like some type of jeans and a shirt and like pirate type jewelry. what exactly should i wear? like for kinds of pants, what color or print shirt, what jewelry, shoes, my hair? things like that. websites with pictures of things like this or inexpensive cool pirate jewelry would be wonderful!=]

I have a school dance to go to tomrrow night, and my boyfriend decided that he will come with me, even though he has never been to a dance. he lacks confidance in that depertment. how can i teach him to dance, or is there anything i can do to give him confidance? what kind of moves can i teach him? how can i help him move is body so that he can learn?
p.s. i don't grind, and neither does he, so please don't suggest that.

well. this is my opinion.
he might be insulted or not want you to teach him to dance. so when you are at the dance, just grab his hands and pull him over to where a group of your friends are dancing. he'll eventually get the idea. dancing comes pretty naturally.
if you do want to teach him before the dance, you might not wanna say you are "teaching" him or "giving him lessons" cause again, he might not want them, or be insulted or something, or maybe he wont.
so you could invite him to your house and play some music, then just say "DANCE WITH ME!" and then you'll be teaching him how to dance, without him really knowing.

Talk to different people. DOn't ask them to hang out with you if you've only known them for a day. Start by talking, then go to the mall or something, or invite them over.

Okay, so there's a guy that I really like; he's really nice, sweet, funny, and we share a lot of the same interests. We flirt with each other sometimes
I asked him to dance at the school dance, and he said that he just wanted to go shoot some hoops.
Then, to make matters worse...
His friends came up to me at the dance like 10 minutes later, asking me if I still wanted to dance with him.
Then they were like pulling him towards me, and he kept running away!!!
Then I saw him after the dance in the hallway when I was going to my locker, and we were both blushing so badly... lol
Cause my friend gave him this note like 6 months ago, saying it was from me, and she signed my name in cursive to make him think that it was from me!!! It was one of those, check Yes or No if you want to go out... And, of course, in Science class he said he didn't want to go out with me, and then I told him that it was a forgery. But I'm debating on whether he really doesn't want to go out with me, or if he said no because he didn't want to tell my friends his response. Or, I think that one of my friends had a crush on him, too, and by doing that, they knew that he'd say no to me...

Then, last night I went to the high school football opening game, and he was there! My friends that I was with said that he kept on staring at me! :S
What should I do? Does he like me, or am I just wasting my time? :(

I think you should get to know him, be friends for now. It sort of sounds like he likes you, but I can't be too sure. Just keep talking, hanging out, and being friends. If things go well, ask him to hang out sometime outside of school, like a date. But I think that word scares some guys ;)

I think you should keep your style. If it makes you happy, then its fine. Next time someone calls you gay or a fag, ignore them. Its hard, I know. Or ask them if they know what that really means. Stand up to them. I think thats so hot when a guy does that....ANYWAY...ahah. ;)
I say stick to your style. Who cares what other people think. Ignore them, eventually they'll stop. And if they don't, its cause they are bored with their own preppy kid lifestyle.

Alright, so I'm still in high school my boyfriend is coming home from school...he's been gone all summer and we;re hanging out tonight. I really just want him to have a great time and well i just want him to be like dang...you know happy to see me and whatever.
well i need some ideas from start to finish...
what should i wear, what should we do and all that jazz. we cant really go to either of our houses for anything to exciting because our parents are both home and they are very strict
If you can't go to either of your houses, it'll be hard to have a ...romantic evening..if thast what you had in mind.

Or go like mini golfing, to the mall, out to dinner, something like that.
And depending on where you are going should help you to decide what to wear. If you are going out to dinner, wear something nice, a skirt, a nice chirt, etc.

So I'm 15/f, going into 10th grade & I feel silly about asking this question, but it's bothering me and I have to now.
I have 2 best friends and I love them both equally. Well, one of them is a guy, whom we will call Bob. Well, Bob and I have been best friends since 8th grade & I love him, even though he's kind of a blah person. He's cuddly and funny and just awesome to be around. I don't know. He's just really easy to be comfortable around? But he doesn't like many people so it's kind of ironic in a way. But anywhos, he's the type of person that has a best friend one year and another the next year. And I guess I kind of "pushed it" keeping him as my best friend for 2 years. Yeah, lame, I know. Anywhos, he and I don't really do much outside of school. He just plays video games all day long and I just study, study, study, play violin, and blah. Well, I really love him and I don't want to lose him but I feel like I've already lost him. There's this other guy, whom we'll call Jo. Well, Jo is bi/gay [I don't know. He keeps on going back and forth every week. Hard to keep track of] and Bob is gay & they have that little link there. And Jo is much more outgoing and leads a sort of hedonistic life and is pretty much more interesting than I am. Haha. But, yeah. I feel like I'm completely losing Bob to Jo and Bob's the type of person that kind of forgets a person when another interesting person comes by? But anywhos, I can tell that Jo and Bob are pretty close now & have hung out a few times during the summer [without me]. I'm afraid to lose Bob as a friend. I mean, I wouldn't mind much if I lost him as a best friend. But I do mind a lot if I might lose him as a friend. Ahh! What do I do? Please don't say talk to him. He doesn't talk much and we're not very good with "serious" talking. And hanging out is pretty much pointless since I don't have much time to hang out during school.

Its going to be hard to keep him as a friend if you two can't talk...i mean about this issue.
Maybe when you're talking to him, joke around and be like "Bob! I never get to see you anymore..where have you been!" Or ask him to go to the movies or mall with you. And when you're there tell him how much you miss how you used to hang out everyday and be best friends.
I really think you should try to talk to him about this. If you can't be serious, say something like "Bob I feel like im losing youu. what the EFffffff" or however you two usually joke around.

me & my cousins went shopping yesterday from about 4:30-8. my neck started to hurt and i really don't know why because it never happened to me. so i thought, maybe if i get some sleep it'll feel better. i slept over my cousins house and we went to bed at like 4 and i just woke up at 7:23 because i can't sleep, and it's still hurting. should i just leave it or is it something serious? thanks
You might have just gotten a stiff neck. If it doesn't go away in another two days, see a doctor. I doubt its anything serious.
If it really hurts, take an advil or something to relieve the pain.
