OK, i just got my first period today. Unfortunately, my mom is on vacation so I have no clue what to do. Am I supposed to wear a pad/tampon while I sleep? How often should i change them? THank you so much for your help!
Wear pads at night and in the day until you get comfortable with them. Somewhere around half a year I became comfortable enough to wear tampons. You'll be fine. Drink tea if you get cramps or use a heating pad. Definately tell whoever is home though. And tell your mom immediately when she gets home. Good luck!
Okay, I'm a very very shy girl. Like extremely shy. How do I get a kid I like to notice me?...I think he's seen me around, but he's just so cute and the way he walks is so graceful. I can't get him out of my mind...it's something that I just can't help. It's not an obbsession, just a huge crush. Believe me, I don't waste my time being obsessed with boys. THEY'RE JUST BOYS! (no offense) But this kid is just the perfect person for me...and I'm young but I think I', old enogh to know when somebody is almost "the one"...at least for now...

You could always try talking to him and telling him about your crush when you become friends. If this is your first it probably won't work out, just as a warning. Don't get your hopes too high.
Me and my best freind really like eacother alot. We have a history of 'relationships' in the past, but it was middle school, and I don't really count it...But anyways, back to the present. He was my date to homecoming (which was a month ago) and at the dance, he told me he still liked me. Well, i've always liked him, so i thought everything would be cool and work out. A week passes by and he says nothing. I confront him, and he tells me he wants to wait for his license. Well, he now has his license, and has for a week. But he still hasent done anything. He acts like he likes me, and I'm posotive he does, but i'm tired of waiting. Hes told all his friends (mostly girls, that ask him whats going on between us) that he was going to ask me out this week, but guess what? HE HASENT. What should I do? (And no, I dont want to be the one to ask him out) Thank you!

so I got a little drunk at last weekend's halloween party (okay, more than a little, but that's another issue) and did some stupid funny stuff (okay, more stupid than funny but whatever). The problem now is that everyone in my office knows and keeps coming around... "feelin' alright, steph?" and all that. It is so not cool. Is there anything I can do to stop the gossip, or do I never get to live this down? Got any witty comebacks for me for when everyone's making fun of my oh-so-exciting performance?
You can't stop gossip after it starts. Just don't drink next time and you won't have the problem.

If you wear a lot of make-up it might be due to the grease in them. Maybe you, like me, is allergic to scented soaps and lotions, you could cut back on those too. Go to a dermatologist.
I have a friend who's about to be initiated into Wicca. I know what Wicca's about, and that's mainly why I've been hoping he wouldn't. He's getting initiated on Saturday, and I'm really worried. Is there anything I can do to talk him out of it in five days?!?
Why pressure him into believing something he is obviously for is wrong? At least he believes in something. What he believes in shouldn't harm your friendship. One of my few friends I've met in high school is an atheist. He's nicer than most Christians I know. Never down-look someone because of religion.

If you're asking you probably have someone either calling you an addict or you've thought about if you are one. If you think you might be one you probably are. Addiction is really in the eye of the beholder though.
So, I'm a drummer, and I need some new equipment. Should I go for a new hi-hat stand, crash, ride, or double bass petal? The hi-hat stand is probably the most needed, the ride would round out the sound, the crash would make me even louder than I already am, and the double bass would just r0x0rz. So, if you were in my fuzzy blue slippers, which should I (or you I guess) get?

I'm an athiest, but i don't try to force people to believe what I believe. I don't challenge other people's beliefs. I've had this one guy bother me for 5 years about being an athiest. (I go to a PK-12 school distict). He's always asking me why I'm not religious, why I don't believe in God, etc, ect, and so on. i've done everything I can think of, including inflicting bodily harm on him (well - I dropped a book on his head. But I don't even think that hurt him) but he won't stop. how do I stop him?
Have you tried to accept or respect his beliefs? If yes, then there's hardly anything else you can do, if no you could actually research about what it is he believes in and talk to him about why you don't. Who knows, you may actually be able to converse with him about religion while still retaining your own athiestic beliefs.
