ok well im 14 and i have been a cutter since i was 12. im also anorexic. i have been since i was like 10. i also have trouble eating infront of people, when i have to eat. i just get nervous and very self concious when i eat around other people. even my parents. im 4'10" and i currently weigh 94 lb. i want to get over my cutting and eating disorder SO BAD! i have tryed forever but just run back to them. i think about suicide a lot, espically after this year. this year i lost a lot of friends. 2 died in a car accident on the same day and 4 killed themselves. it has affected me badly.
now i am addicted to cutting. i cant feel the pain anymore. no matter how much or how deep i cut. ive tryed the rubber band thing but it doesnt work. if you have any ideas on how to stop then please answer. i rate high. (link)

I know no matter what anyone says, nothing can ever change an addiction or the way you feel. a few years ago when i was a freshman in highschool, my gooooood friend (we'll call her sally) and i got involved in helping out with the varsity boys team equipment and stuff for things to do after school, a boy on the team went out with her for a while and she's the type to get real trusting real fast.. too fast. they broke up and she started cutting. it broke my heart because i couldn't do ANYTHING to help her stop. I wanted to make her feel better but the absolute onlyyyyyyyy thing that made her feel better was to cut herself. After she did, she felt ashamed though. She would hide it under a adidas arm sweat band or a long sleeved shirt. Friends started catching on and whispering, it just ruined her life even worse, the hole just got deeper and she couldn't find a way out. I was the only one who understood how she felt and didnt scold her for cutting. I understood that self affliction was her way of a release of tension. It was her thing. Maybe its your thing. your way of dealing with the numerous losses in your life. I can't tell you how to live your life because I'm a complete stranger to you, but I have helped my friend *sally before, she stopped cutting herself and yah she did the rubber band thing but friends and family stepped in and private counseling sessions helped her work her way to getting better. Maybe that is something you could possibly try to help your addiction? It sounds scary to think that you might need someones help to get over this, someone other than another teen on advicenators, but its true hun. what would your family do if you ever cut too deep? how would your friends act? you'd just be another to kill themselves.. one more gone.. You're too young to have to deal with this much pain, and i can tell you're beautiful by the way you wrote your question. Maybe that is another way to ease the pain. writing. Its just an idea. as for your anorexia.. thats another thing that you can't get over quickly by yourself. im sure a ton of people have told you this but.. everyone eats, its normal. you can't survive without it babe.. try and keep ur chin up hun and if you need absolutely anything dont hesitate to ask, i promise i will try my best to help you out sweetie. Its hard, but it can't hurt to try.

As much as it is advertised, there are never BACK TO SCHOOL FASHIONS. If its a public school then no one's gunna be dressed the same. All different styles on all different types of people. Its what YOU think looks good on you. Now yah, consider me guilty, when i started freshman year in highschool, what i did was buy about half the normal school shopping clothes, and then went to school for a few days, saw what everyone else was wearing, and then went back to the mall and worked with it that way. Maybe it would work the same for you? Oh, and don't always go with what's in the magazines. Anyone who wears that stuff usually sticks out, LOOKS GOOD, but sticks out. Its flashy, which is why it's in a mag :P haha but I'd say just go with casual jeans and a cute top for the first day would, in my opinion, be fantastic.

Okay, you might have to be a little clearer next time... but let me try here. By 4 times you mean.. rubbing him 4 strokes? or getting him off 4 times.. BIG DIFFERENCE. he has blue balls becuz he needed to ejac but didnt because of stopping, maybe? Under NO circumstances should you tell him you like him if you don't, or date him out of pity. Even if he is unimaginably depressed and is upset, you cannot lie to him just to make him feel better cuz in the longrun you will only be hurting him more and ruining the friendship you two have together. If he is your BEST friend he'll understand when you tell him you just enjoy him being there as a best friend rather than a boyfriend. Guys don't usually like hearing the horrible words: "LETS JUST BE FRIENDS". its like nails on a chalkboard to them, but in this situation, he's your best friend. It would be 100 times better to tell him how you feel and explain things to him. If he's really your friend, he'll understand and let it go, and appreciate having you as, at least, a friend!

alright well I like this guy but he's known to just get w/ girls for sex and I know that that's true w/ some of the girls he's been with but not all of them.. I like him a lot and I always think about him and like he's one of the only guys I love to hang out with that I like... if that makes any sense... and well he was smoking in front of me and I was like THATS DISGUSTING and he was like ... well then I'll stop, just for u.. and well when ever we hang out he always like rubs my back and is really flirty and when I was drunk he helped me around (not taking advantage of me in any way) bc I couldnt walk very well and he like made sure i was ok and stuff and then the next day he asked how i felt and made sure i was ok... and well he told my brother that hes liked me since the 7th grade and he normally doesnt like girls for that long, he just fucks them and leaves them and hes always like.. i love hangin out w/ ur so awesome and its a lot of fun, and now i cant keep my mind off him and i hate being away from him...... ok well should i take a chance with him if he likes me? or just let it go?

First of all, you NEVERRR wanna judge a guy just from what "you've heard he's done", if this guy sleeps around with girls then thats not exactly a fantastic quality. He seems nice tho, not to mention caring. If this guy just wanted to have sex with you, he would've done it that night you were drunk and couldn't walk. Maybe you should give it a try. Whats the worst that could happen? Him turn into an asshole and try to have sex with you? so say no if he turns into a big jerk and kick him to the curb. No harm in giving him a whirl, girl :) Talk to him about it though, he seems sweet and totally understanding.

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 2 years now and i love him soo much. Well we got into a REALLY REALLY big fight, and he said really mean things to me so I broke up with him and when he came to my house the next day we talked and he told me that he thinks alot different of me now and he made it pretty clear that he didn't want to get back together with me at all. I didn't mean to break up with him and I want him back, the problem is, he doesn't want me back. My heart is broken and I'm really lonely. He was my life, I was with him EVERY SINGLE DAY. I feel lonely and I don't have anyone I can really talk to about it. What should I do? How can I get him to want me back as much as I want him back? (link)

First of all, I know how it feels to have a boyfriend there basically 24/7 and then a sudden cliff fall breakup so let me try and help you out here. Now, if he thinks different of you, ask him why and what made him change the way he thought about you after knowing you sooo well for 2+ years. If he tries telling you its because of the breakup, you need to reassure him that the reason for all of YOUR reactions was due to his arrogance and him being a jerk to you. Make sure he isn't turning you into the bad guy hun, if he is.. then maybe you deserved better in the first place.

well i want a thong really badly but the last time i asked my mom when i could get one she said when i was 15! i think it's really unfair, i could have got one with my friend in fl but i know if my mom found out that i did she would have freaked! my friend got five behind her mom's back but i couldn't should i buy some or should i ask her again?

You probably shouldn't buy one behind your mom's back just becausesooner or later she's either gunna see it stickin' out of your pants or find it hanging around ur room accidentally or in the laundry. I got my first thong when i was 13 just cuz my best friend wore them. If you decide to talk to her about it again, reassure her its not for sexual purposes, (even if it might be ;) ). For example, maybe you have a pair of jeans that don't have back pockets or might be a little tight in the tush.. tell her you are sick of your underwear showing through them and that a thong would not show!
