what are this fall's back to school fashions? i'm going into 9th grade, and i want to know what the hottest and cutest styles are for someone of my age. i'm going to be 14, it's going to be my first year in high school, i'm a girl, and i'm preppy. what stores are good to shop at? also, what colors of makeup are good for brown hair and brown eyes?

hey. i am preppy too and sort of surferish and i shop at hollister, abercrombie, old navy, lacoste, jcrew, urban outfitters, american eagle, and aeropostale. those are all preppy stores that i reccomend. makeup ideas for brown eyes and brown hair, um i always thought orange and pink look really good on brown headed people. you could try covergirl or MAC or Lancome' or just about any makeup store will have what you are looking for. i hope i helped!

Hm. Id say go for ripped jeans, tight graphic T's [ hollister ] or AE, AF & aero. && as for the makeup - if you have dark skin - use light colors - light skin [ blues, greens ]

Light brown, brown, and other fall colored scarves are perfect for the fall, along with like tan or brwon blazers. But you don't have to wear like only fall colors. You can wear sweater vests and jeans, cords, and khakis. Flats are in too Here are some stores you can shop at, both perppy and other types too...

Abercrombie & Fitch
Hollister
American Eagle
Old Navy
Forever 21
Wetseal
Charlotte-Russe
Urban Outfitters
Delias
J.Crew
Nordstrom

-and other stores like that

Some make-up that would fit you would be like, light brown, light or regular pink, and like a cherry color, that's not too dark, but maybe a little shimmery. Clear is good also. I hope I helped!

As much as it is advertised, there are never BACK TO SCHOOL FASHIONS. If its a public school then no one's gunna be dressed the same. All different styles on all different types of people. Its what YOU think looks good on you. Now yah, consider me guilty, when i started freshman year in highschool, what i did was buy about half the normal school shopping clothes, and then went to school for a few days, saw what everyone else was wearing, and then went back to the mall and worked with it that way. Maybe it would work the same for you? Oh, and don't always go with what's in the magazines. Anyone who wears that stuff usually sticks out, LOOKS GOOD, but sticks out. Its flashy, which is why it's in a mag :P haha but I'd say just go with casual jeans and a cute top for the first day would, in my opinion, be fantastic.

Goodluck babe! hope i helped!
