Q: I have around 15, yes THAT many, small warts on my right arm and one on my left. I tried freezing them off and all it did was leave circular scars on my arms. What else could I do, besides go to the doctor? and how could I get rid of my scars? They're hideous.
Honestly, if you dont want to go to the doctor you just have to wait it out. I had a wart on my hand for a few years, but it eventually went away. It takes a long time unless you go to the doctor. Now, mine was just on my hand at the bottom and not affecting me. No one saw it, but I think that you should go to the doctor and get them removed seeing as there are so many and they are bothering you adn affecting the way you feel about yourself.

Q: I'm going to be a freshman on monday, and i dont know anyone at the highschool cause I moved. I realllly want to make a good first impression, so this is what I was thinking.
-My fave blue jeans from hollister
-A cute tanktop with an undershirt
-flip flops
-and then the bag ill probly carry is like a tote from hollister.
is that ok? is it too dorky or what? I need your opinions =]
that is definately cute and no where near dorky, but I would add a necklace to make it even cuter and other than that you are good to go :)

Q: im not sure.. but I checked online, and its true! well i think its mild..like it only affects me in my house, but still. like usually I have to check the doors if they are locked in the night, because during the night I fear that like some robber or killer could come in or something. That behavior started a few weeks ago. and somethings that have been going on for a while are that when I turn off the stove, I have to check that I completely turned it off, so it wont cause a fire. Also, I have to make sure the lights are completely off or on.. I guess I think it will make a fire if its in between, when the lights flicker. And something that has started since 6th grade is that I have to look behind me and check that nothing menacing is there or something.. and when my mom or dad goes out, I want to go with them, because my mind thinks that nothing bad will happen if I'm with them. like my dad has to work in a different state for a while, till my family moves in with him next summer. he's coming to visit next week, but i always worry. i was like crying when he had to go.. and along with that I have to check behind me, I also do double takes. I used to be afraid of the dark a lot when I was younger and it has slowly gone away but a little bit of that is still there. when i was afraid, in the night I'd turn on all the lights so it wouldn't be that scary, since objects look scary in the dark sometimes. and if that couldn't be enough, sometimes at school I'd be anxious.. I'd hate it.. in 6th grade it was the worst cause there was this guy I liked but I was really shy around him, and whenever I was around him I'd feel really anxious. Also at other times.. It would take sometime for me to cool off.. like its hard for me sometimes when the class is too quiet. I'd rather it be lively and stuff, hence the anxiety. also during big tests.. i always think of other things, which is annoying sometimes. which is why gym is my favorite subject, because I've never been anxious in it since I'm really competitive, and I'm much more outgoing and fun then.. when I want to be like that all the time. Its only with friends who know me, and people I don't know that I can truely be myself. Like some kids I know, but not really know, find me shy and all that, when I'm not really like that. I guess my anxiety kicks in and I think that I cant just change.. cause they'll think I'm fake or something. sometimes I break through and I can be myself, but on other times its just tense and hard for me to do. okay what else.. sometimes I feel the need to breathe in deeply. I've been doing that for a while now. so yeah this is a lot, and maybe my "supposed OCD" isn't just mild, or maybe it is. I really dont want to go to a special doctor or anything, and my mom doesn't think I have OCD.. she thinks because I think I have OCD, that thought makes me believe it and then I have the disorder. plus I don't want to be a burden since therapists and doctors don't come cheap. so i want a way to stop these urges and everything.. like self help to myself. thanks a lot.. just know that what you write will change my life for the better. =]
That is definately NOT OCD even though im certainly no doctor, I know that, that is not ocd from health class and such. It sounds more like paranoia to me, which is also a mental disorder, so either way it is probably best to see a doctor.

Q: Even though school hasn't started yet and homecoming is ages away, I feel like I won't be able to find a dress if I don't start looking early. I'm usually disappointed by what department stores have to offer and appalled by the immense amount (or apparent absence) of spandex and glitter in dresses from smaller stores. Does anyone know where I can find a nice form-fitting dress that isn't too short or low-cut?

P.S. low-mid price range please :)

In all honesty please. My feelings don't get hurt easily. Constuctive criticism will be taken well.
I definately think you can become a model, but the one thing I would change is your hair color only because I don't think platinum blonde is that great of a hair color, but I'm sure that if you got an agent that they would tell you if you needed to dye it or not. Other than that, and that is definately not a big deal, you have the face of a model.

So i'm entering the eighth grade and throughout the year, student council looks for people with the best eyes.
My eyes are fairly large and they are a medium brown color.
what makeup or anything can i use to bring out my eyes and make them look their best?
you dont need to rate me on this, but do NOT wear blue, green, or pink eye shadow. it looks REALLY tacky and you won't be choosen. if you really want to use eyeshadow only use a neutral color. trust me on this one. you'll get made fun of if you wear that eye shadow.

Q: I have to get up at 6:00 A.M for high school... In your opinion, is it better to shower the night before, or when you wake up? Because, I have P.E...and when I take a shower, I preferably wash my hair. So, which way do you do it? This is a really weird question LOL
take a shower at night because if you take one in the morning then you have to wake up even earlier than you would if you didn't take one. Therefore you get more sleep that way and wont be as tired throughout the day. Plus, your hair can dry naturally and then you can style it in the morning. the only reason I could see taking it in the morning is if you just naturally let your hair dry for school and then do nothing else to it because if thats all you do then sleeping on it would probably mess it up, but most people I know take showers at night :)

Q: I was reading some girl's question and she asked why do guys check her out. I don't think guys ever check me out really. Maybe I don't notice it or something. i'm 14 and most people say I look a lil bit older. i'm short but I have big boobs and a lil waist. Okay I'm not trying to brag or anything but do guys not like the fact that im small??? Or the fact that my boobs are kinda big for my body? I don't understand. Do guys check me out when I'm not looking???
probably not. No offense, but if they did then you'd be bound to see it one time or another as would your friends and I agree with the person below me. it does also depend on your face and being short is definately a turn off because guys like girls with long legs as well. but then again guys are jerks. haha dont worry, having guys check you out isnt always a good thing. you want guys to like you for YOU not your body.

I was dating my boyfriend for about a year and half when he cheated on me. He didn't just kiss another girl or hang out with her but he had sex with her at a party after we had had a fight. He didn't even tell me and i had to find out from the girl herself. She didn't even know i was hius girlfriend and she asked me to give him his ring back.( the ring was a promise ring we gave to eachother awhile ago) up until this happened i thought i could spend the rest of my life with him. I haven't talked to him since but he is always with my brothers. I just don't know if he went so far that i should throw away everything we had. Where is the line of going to far to be forgiven? Do i just give up and say let's be friends?
Honestly, any guy that you should be spending the rest of your life with would never ever have sex with another girl just because you two were in a fight. I'm not saying that he's not sorry or that he doesn't regret what he did, but at the same time can you really trust this guy now that you know what he did when you got in a fight? I know that if a guy did that to me all trust would be broken and it depends on how easily you trust people, but for me gaining that trust back would be nearly impossible. Especially because he made you give him the promise ring back. That should tell you something, but you're still very young to know who you want to spend the rest of your life with. You've got years to figure that out and when the right guy does come along he won't cheat on you instead he'll do everything he can to get back on your good side when you two are fighting. I think that you really should consider breaking things off with this guy and just being friends because he did cross the line. I'd say if he made out then that could be forgiven, maybe even oral, but sex? no way. Someone who would do that to you is not worth it. There are a million other guys out there and not to mention the one that you are meant to be with. Give it time, who you think you're meant to be with isn't always right. Trust me, you'll meet someone even better. =)

Don't worry, it'll all blow over. It'll become old news before you know it. People get bored fast with gossip, but in the mean time you could say that you have the dolls for when your little cousin comes over, so she has something to play with or that your mom hasn't given them away from when you were a kid yet, but that you don't actually play with them. Deny it if you have to. As long as you don't admit to it no one can know for sure that it is true and not just Isabella making up a rumor about you for no apparent reason. If you just ignore it though, people will think that its not true, but the more you get defensive the more people will think its true. I would just deny using them and leave it at that if someone asks you. just be like, "oh yeah, I have them, but they're for my little cousins." and leave it at that. I dont think its a big deal that you still play with them, but some teenagers or well most can be cruel. Just be relaxed and at ease and everything will blow over in a few weeks at the most.

Calm down, calm down.
They will not make you fill out a survey about your sexual experiences and such. They will not know if you are a virgin or not because this is not the gyno and even so your hymen can be unattached by the usage of a tampon and sports. You do not take off you underwear, the doctor just looks to make sure that everything looks normal (like at ur clit, but not actually inside the vagina). Really, they just check your temperature, weight, blood pressure, back and that sort of thing. You keep your bra and panties on abd you wear a paper or cloth robe provided by them. It's really no big deal. You may get a shot since you have been before, but shots do NOT hurt. I promise you, I never even knew that they had put it in whenever i get shots. Just take a deep breath and relax. It'll be perfectly fine and no mention of your sexual life will come up because I'm guessing you are only a teenager. They will ask you about your period, but that's pretty much it. Dont stress, its no biggie =)

Q: Okay so my state (TN) has decided to mandate that every student K-12 get 90 minutes of excersize a week. Well they are using our homeroom time at my school to do just that. I think it is incredibly stupid because its not the school's responsibility to tell us what to do as far as excersizing goes. It is so damn retarded I can hardly stand it. I HATE coming to school now. OMG as if it wasnt bad enough LETS THROW IN SOME EXCERSIZE!!! Plus my homeroom teacher is strict with the rules, so if we dont do these excersizes every morning, she will write us up. I dont feel like I can talk to her because she wont understand. And I cant sit there and object while everyone else is doing it because that will draw negative attention to me. I get enough attention as it is for being fat. And thats not the reason I dont want to do the excersizes. It's just that 15 minutes is a long time for someone who is as heavy as I am and its embarassing to have my fat jiggle around for the whole freaking class to watch and laugh at. I would much prefer to excersize in PRIVACY where I dont have to worry about what I look like. High school is bad enough as it is. I think this is pure torture and I really want to refuse to do it. But I dont want to bring negative attention to myself. WHAT SHOULD I DO???? and what is your opinion on our new state law??
I know that you're going to rate me down for this, but there is no reason to complain because some kids don't get any exercise at all, so I do think that it is a good idea and its only 15 minutes a day. At my school gym is mandatory through 9th grade and it's a WHOLE period where you run miles and are graded on your time. You have to play soccer and basketball even if you aren't good at it. Honestly, you have it easy. I would much rather have to do what you do. Besides, I doubt anyone is going to laugh at you. All this crap that high school is all about looks is NOT true. I know a million overweight kids who are popular at my school and no one cares that they're overweight. Honestly, the more self conscious you are and the less you try then the more people think negatively of you. As long as you try your hardest no one will talk you down and if they do then they're not people who want to associate yourself with anyway. I mean I don't know about your school, but at my school no one gets talked down to for being fat except by maybe the popular guys, but they're jerks anyway.

If it's REALLY that bad, which is doesn't seem like it is and don't say I don't understand because I used to be REALLY fat like 5'1 and 130 lbs and I'm a really self conscious person then just get with a friend and totally blow it off like someone else said. Walk when they tell you to run believe me everyone will do it if you do. At my school no one runs the miles not even the popular guys who can run it in like 5 mins or talk to your parents about writing a letter to your gym teacher to say that you do more than 15 mins of exercise a day and you don't need to participate. One of my gym teachers told my friend that some days she could just sit out because she exercises SO much outside of school.

I know this probably wasn't the answer you were looking for, but I just wanted to show you that it could be much worse.

Q: Please read all of this. I really do need help and a second opinion, and I have no one to talk to.

I'm 15, 5'1 and 135 pounds. I have a petite frame, and obesity runs in my family. I used to weigh less, and I know it shows that I am heavier than I used to be but when I look in the mirror I don't see myself as fat and obese. I just don't know if others see me that way and I just don't realize it. I went to the doctor three weeks ago when they told me how much I weighed and how tall I was. The nurse said my weight was perfect for my height, but the frantic research that I've done says otherwise. Sometimes I get really down on myself and begin to see it, but I don't know.

I think I've gained weight because during school I ate a lot because of stress and the cafeteria, but this summer I've been cutting back A LOT. I've been ordering healthier items when I eat out, I've stopped eating between meals, and I've stopped eating when I'm not hungry. Sometimes I slip, but... overall I think I'm doing a decent job. Hopefully, I've lost at least 2 to 3 pounds but I have no way to be sure since I have no clue where the scale in my house is.

Bottom line is, I don't want to beat around the bush or anything so I'm just going to ask. Do you think I'm "fat?" I've been really sad lately because I've been accessing these internet BMI calculating websites that have been mostly saying "I'm at risk of being overweight." One even said I was overweight by 25 pounds. But according to one of my friends, they thought I looked around 110 or so.

I don't know if it's all relative or not. Do people just carry their weight differently? My friend is 5'6 and weighs 140. She also eats much more unhealthy than I do, and no offense at all to her, but she does look somewhat heavier than I do. Not but much, but she does. But she only weighs 5 pounds more than I do and she's 5 inches taller. I just don't understand.

No offense, but I think you're overweight. No, I KNOW you're overweight. That might seem rude, but its the truth. I use to weigh less than you and I am the same height and my doctor told me to lose some weight and I did. I'm not trying to be rude at all and you can rate me low for this, but im not going to sugar coat answers like everyone else is to make you feel better. Obesity runs in your family and if you don't gain control soon then you will become very overweight. Right now you are only 3 lbs overweight, but if you continue to eat you will become even heavier. Everyone carries their weight differently and just because you dont look your weight doesn't mean you shouldn't knock off a few lbs for health reasons.

Now, this weight could be because you are very muscular and if it is then there is no reason to lose weight, however I don't have a picture of you so there is no way of me knowing. I'm assuming that some of it may be muscle because of the way you described yourself, but I can't be sure and if it's not i think you should try ot lose a few lbs. I'm not talking a lot maybe just 8-10 lbs. No more.

Q: okay. so i'm 5'4 and a half, 145lbs. i want to weigh 130lbs by September or sooner. i was thinking of a low-fat, healthy diet with 5 nights of excersise.
my diet plan is this:
breakfast- oatmeal, bannana + yogurt, water.
OR english muffin, bannana + yogurt, water.
OR Instand Breakfast Smoothie (instand breakfast mix, bannana, nonfat yogurt, milk, + ice)
snack- watermelon, or some fruit.
lunch- slimfast bar and carrots.
snack- pretzals, veggies, or fruit
dinner- chicken with rice and corn
OR Lean Cousine, Healthy Choice.

what foods should i avoid?

do you think i can do it if i eat that and work out for an hour 5x a week?
No, there is no way on that diet plan that you will lose 10-15 lbs in a month. If you really wanted to lose that much you would have to eat way less than you are eating, which is not healthy. In a monthy you should only be losing 8 lbs at the very most, probably more like 4-5 lbs. I'm just trying to be reasonable, but if you keep up the workout/diet plan in two months you may be able to do so.

You should avoid foods with high calories such as hamburgers and other fast foods. Definately avoid whole milk and instead try skim or even 2%. You can indulge occasionally and have a nice peice of dark chocolate for desert every once in a while. The only way you can stick with this diet is to eat what you like in moderation. This has to be a life change not just something you do for a month or else you will gain all the weight back.

I also recommend for dinners having either rice or corn NOT both and instead having some type of vegetable with either the rice or corn because corn is one of the worst vegetables to eat. Also, make sure your chicken is grilled and not fried.
For lunch, i would recommend trading in the slimfast bar for something more satisfying like the person said below a samwhich on whole wheat bread.
For breakfast, I would stay away from the breakfast smoothie unless you are going to use skim milk otherwise it should be ok.

For your workout try doing some biking because that is great excercise or jog for an hour if you're able to do so. Also to get toned do some bicep and tricep curls along with some crunchs in different positions. You're two days off should be inbetween workout days to give your muscles time to relax. ex; workout for two days, take a day off, work out for 2 days take a day off, etc.

definately not and do you want to know why? not only did you only allow a boy to touch you, not even you, but your underwear, but your questioning whether what you did was right or not and a whore wouldn't do that plain and simple. They wouldn't look back because they would be so used to it. Also, you're 14 and just trying new things and there is nothing wrong with that. I know kids your age who have had sex not once, not twice, but several times. You are perfectly normal and not a whore by anyones defination. Believe me, you have nothing to regret. Just be sure that if you're not comfortable with something to let the guy know for future situations.

Q: For dinner tonight, my family is making english muffin pizzas. Just one english muffin cut in half with sauce and sprinkled cheese. Would that be ok to eat since im on a diet? Or should I ask for a regular english muffin [with grape jam] and 2 eggs scrambled/fried? Just want some ideas so I can make the right dieting choice. Thanks!
You should eat the english muffin with the cheese and sauce because even though its more calories than the jam one when you add the eggs with the jam. The cheese sauce one would be less calories altogether. Besides that you know you really want the cheese one and its better to be satisfied than to eat something when you know you really want something else because then you arent satisfied. You can eat whatever you want on a diet, but in moderation. Still, the first one with cheese adn sauce is a better choice.

They used to sell true religion skinny jeans at macys which looked exactly like those, however skinny jeans were last fall so i doubt they still sell them there but you can check. Also, those jeans are going to be over 100 dollars and i dont know if you want to pay that much for jeans. You could also try Abercrombie/ Abercrombie and Fitch/ Hollister or Ruehl if you have any of those in your area because they still have skinny jeans or they used to before they got their fall stuff in, but im sure they still sell them there.

Also, I dont think you should talk about Kohls and JC Pennys like that because some people cant afford anything else and its not there fault. Thats really stuck up and bratty of you. No Offense. Rate me low for saying that and ill report you
