I am 21 and a few months ago i became engaged to my boyfriend of several months. I went to college in another state where he was playing in the minor baseball league. My parents had never met him and when i called to tell them that not only had i met a guy but we were engaged they were pretty upset. The wedding is now 2 weeks away and my fiance and i are leaving tomorrow to go home for the wedding. (We decided to get married in my home town)Yesterday i found out that i am pregnant. I'm not sure if i should wait until after the wedding has happened before i tell my parents or tell them right away. They are very conservative and since they didn't take to well to me marrying someone they haven't met yet, i'm pretty sure they won't take it to well that i'm already pregnant.
My thought was to just wait and tell them that it happened on our honeymoon thinking that they would at least feel better about the fact that it happened after we were married. Any other ideas?

Not that I was ever in that sutuation but as much as I would feel bad about lying to everyone, I would wait until a week or so after the honeymoon to say something. You have the right to do whatever you choose but for your parents sake, I think it would be better to wait. Especially considering you never introduced them to the man their daughter is about to marry.

So theirs this reaaally cute guy that i used 2 like but i stopped because i heard a rumor going around that he liked sum1 else. So in class 2day people r sayin dat he likes me so i started liken him again even though i'm not 100% sure if he does. So my bff in my bf were in class with me 2day sayin dat he's fine and sexy n stuff like dat. They thot i was ova him. So dey dared me 2 send him a note dat sed your sexy. First of all, it would be alot easier to undersand you if you paid any attention to your grammar.

But to answer your question, it seems that you do like him and forced yourself not to when you thought he was interested in someone else, just to save yourself the heart-ache. Smart move. Now, you know based on his reaction that he is at least a little interested so you should go with it and ask him out to an even, either with friends or even alone, but start small and go bigger if you get a good feeling about it.

How do I say hi to a guy and start a conversation?

Well, there's nothing difficulty about saying 'hi' is there? You just need to have a topic handy if he is interested in conversing. If he is in any of your classes then ask how he likes the class. If you met him at a certain activity, talk about it. The main thing is, set your mind on actually saying hi and have a conversation at the ready. With that you should be fine. Being nervous is perfectly normal, just pretend your not.

how do you edit your about section in your advice column???

xomuffinn's answer is exactly what you need to do to edit your profile. From what I can tell you want to edit the part where you "tell the story of [your names goes here]". To do so you click on "progile settings" and scroll all the way down to the bottom. Over the "submit" button there should eb a typing box, write your desired text in there and then click "submit".

okay so ive been everywhere, i looked on the help section of itunes,searched "how to delete songs off ipod" and nothing has worked even thought i followed everything people have told me! i have the new ipod nano the little fat looking one lol i really need to know how you delete songs from your ipod using itunes because im completely lost.I heard u go to your library and press delete i did that and the songs are still on my ipod :( and some of the songs sound sratched and when i pressed delete it said it couldnt because the file was being used by someone else im comepletely lost.So bascially, how do you delete songs off your ipod using itunes (i need a step by step as detailed as possible) thank you i really appreciate it!

Alright, it's mighty simple to do but if you are new to using iTunes and such it can be a challenge to figure things out.


The first thing you need to do it open iTunes (do NOT connect your iPod yet). Click on the desired song and press the delete button on your keyboard (agree to delete if it's the correct song). Once you have repeated this process for each song you would like to delete, NOW connect your iPod and sync it to your computer. When you safely disconnect your iPod and turn it on, the songs should not be on it. If they are still there then I don't know what to say other than perhaps your iPod has something wrong with it and you need to "reset" it using the reset button when you connect it to your computer.

Ok, well before you read this and go "Another pathetic girl who has a bad love life" listen. I like this boy, say Jim. Well my friend has liked Jim for like 2 years and has asked him out so many times and Jim always says no. She doesnt know that i like Jim.
Also my friend Jen is Jims Best Friend, but she always is like laying on him and like almost giving him a blowjob. I mean, come on, your my best friend, dont be giving the boy i like a blowjob.
Me and jim are such good friends. He like tells me everything. I have liked him one time before, but hes said no, but it was a year ago.
I dont want to tell him i like him and him say he doesnt like me and well be all messed up and lose what we had and have Jen and the girl who likes him mad. What should i do, tell him, or try to get over him??? HELP!

There always seems to be a BUT now doesn't there. My advice, what have you got to lose? Either you take a chance and tell him, or you try to live your life with the feelings hovering over your head. Personally, from experience, I would tell him and hope for the better. If you guys are as good friends as you make it sound, you should get over this [if he says no].


It seems you have a little competition and sometimes this can be good, and it could also be bad. You explain that your best friend who has been crushing on Jim for 2 years now, and she doesn;t know you like him. She probably doesn't know because you were afraid she'd get mad if she knew; am I right? You also explain that you get frustrated [lack of a better word] when Jen flirts with him. It's all quite similar.


First of all, you need to confess to your best friend that you like the same guy. Basically tell her that you know she may not like this but you are going to tell him because you don't want this chance to pass you by. She may get upset, but try to explain to her that she's tried and 'not succeeded' many times and you feel that it's fair if you tried. As for Jen, just ignore that situation altogether unless it gets out of hand.


All in all, tell her your plan, tell him how you feel, and hope for the best outcome.

okay so i bought: this is the life by hannah montana and loaded it onto my ipod with five other new songs bringing it to a total of 45 songs on there. all the others played except for my hannah montana. i tried loading it again and i looked to see if it was autherized which it was. it plays on the computer but i need my ipod every day for work and i need this song. can anybody help me find a way to get it to work on the ipod?

To tell you the truth, I have no idea what could be going wrong other than maybe the type of file the song is (only .mp3 works).

One thing I can do to help with troubleshooting is I can send you another copy of that song via email and you can try that. Hopefully it works =]

on piczo how do you set it so others can not take your pictures off it. i put it on one page but how do i for the others?

Ahh, the typical question I get asked on piczo all the time because I have it.

Well, if I understand correctly, you want to block the right-click on the mouse over pictures so nobody can steal them.

Sure enough there are html codes all over the internet for this. The disadvantage to that is that you need to set up an html box on every single page on your site and enter the code, and if you're like me with over 20 pages, this can get rather tiresome.

The solution lies within the settings of your account.

1 - Click on the account tab at the top of your browser.

2 - Under "Privacy Settings", you will see 'Right click protection'. Click on 'edit'.

3 - In the box that will pop up there is a drop-down menu. Choose 'protected'.

And there you have it. Simple yet effective.

Ok well I never knew Value Village existed til I overheard a boy in my class saying that he's dying over embarrassment cuz his mom works there. lol I thought it was an imaginary place for cheap people.

So my friend gave me the address and I found it and I'm just SO curious to see what's inside.

How cheaper are the stuff then other stores like Wal Mart? Are everything in good quality? Are the stuff there old or used?

Oh and can you give me advice when I should go? I don't want to meet his mom there. He's like the meanest boy in school and I don't want people to be making fun of me saying that I shop there. It's kinda weird to see parents and teachers outside of school..

First things first, you should not be embarassed to go shop there.
Value Village is basically like Goodwill or Salvation Army, people donate things and they sort though the stuff, give away the not-so-good stuff to charities and sell the better quality stuff anbd donate a portion of the money to different organisations. They also have brand new stuff for Halloween or Christmas, etc. so it;s not ALL used things all the time. Here is a link for more information [ http://www.valuevillage.com ]
I used to be soo embarassed to be seen in there but I got over it and to tell you the truth, I go there maybe twice a month just to check things out because they have some pretty cool stuff there sometimes. Like this one time I needed to make a costume for drama class and in regular stores I would have had to pay over 100$ but with the help of Value Village I spent just under 50$. All to say that, you shouldn't be embarrased to be getting good deals. =]
As for when to go, it doesn't really matter and don't let them make fun of you, there's no point.

how do you sync songs on your ipod to go on your itunes library???

You don't.

Sorry for being so blunt but you can't do that. It's the other way around, you sync your iPod to your iTunes library.

If you have sync-ed your iPod from one computer and you want to copy the songs from the iPod to the computer before sync-ing to your iPod then you have to go with the auto-play feature on your computer. Copy them into a file on your desktop and then sync. Then add the folder to your Itunes library and you'll have ALL the songs sync-ed to your iPod.

What do you guys think? Is it possible? Or is it just a bunch of teen emotions?

Until about two years ago I would have screamed 'NO! Are you crazy, 16 is way too young!' just at the thought.
I now realise that, even though it is doubtful to fall in love at 16, it IS possible. I say from experience that I've been
in love at 16. Love is a beautiful thing and should be cherished no matter the age.

i know that this is goin to seem really wierd and sound kind of depressing but here goes.....why does it seem like that everytime my best freind's life get perfect (oiu know she get the guy she wants) and she doesn't even have to work hard to get them but when her life get perfectm ine just falls apart....meaning i have to work my butt off and still can't get the guy i wnat and i want my guy more than she wanted hers....she just thought her was cute and i'm like in love with my guy.......okay it's not that deep of a love question.

Gee, I don't remember asking this question. Wait, I didn't, but I could have.
What I mean to say by this attempt at comical relief is that this happens to many of us. Sometimes people around us get what they want without trying at all while the ones who are working the hardest don't get anything.
Think of it this way, your friend could go through tons of guys but never find the 'right one' but you could end up with only a few and end up with the 'right one' in the end. It all depends on which perspective you look at and how you perceive different situations. Try to keep things on the positive side rather than negative.
You shouldn't have to worry about this until later. (depending on your age, probably in your teens based on the attitude...he he)
As for my opinion on your situation, I think that the 'right guy' will find you and you shouldn't have to work too hard for him. As for the guy you like now, tell him and if it works out who knows, the 'right one' could have been in front of you the whole time.

Hi. I bought an "invisasheild" which was a total waste of money. I was looking at what little bit you can look at and thought..."hmm, I bet laminating paper would work better"

So, I'm wondering, if I go to Wal-Mart and buy the laminating paper. You know, the kind that just sticks on without heat or anything. Would I be able to take it off, and do you think it would damage my iPod?

Cause the "invisasheild" is just pretty much that.

Personally I wouldn't do that. From experience I can tell you that even the slightest self-sticking thing will damage your iPod. The 'invisashield' is specially made to not damage your iPod (if purchased from Apple). The laminating paper at Wal-Mart is no better than sticking a sticker to the screen. If you even take it off it will leave a REALLY gross residue that picks up ANY piece of dirt or dust, it also scratches the screen. I would buy a proper case, that way you know you can change it without any worries and you know yout iPod is protected. If you just want something for scratch resistance than I would go for the silicone cases, they have a screen protector and there pretty cool (usually price ranged between 30 and 45$). But if you want maximum protection I'd go for something that has a polycarbonate case. For my iPod I have something from 'iSkin', its has a silicone case inside of a polycarbonate case, it was about 55$ but it works and it's really good quality.

I love my cat dearly but he keeps spraying in my closet. it stinks so bad, any advice on how to get him to stop, and why he does it ??

When looking on google,I serached 'cat spray' and found lots. Here is some information I found...

hey people, what is the legal age to move out of your parents house?

Usually the legal age is between 16 and 19 years of age. Depending on the situation and on where you live it will vary. If your going to college or university you can easily be 17 so it's not a big deal. Also there are other situations that can get you out. Depending why you want to leave there are different restrictions, check out your state/province laws to find out.

Ok, This weekend I'm going to a party. The party is being held at a "certain person's" house and she tends to play lots of 'kissing' games. For one, the person I like is going so I'm kinda wondering what should I do if I get put with him for something. Should I be 'shy' or go for it?

For the guy you like...
If you ask me, I'd say start off be acting shy, and then if he goes in for the kiss then I say go for it.

As for kissing the guys you don't really like...
Just be polite, smile, turn your face and offer them your cheek. If they move to get your lips, well, turn the other cheek. You are never under any obligation to let somebody kiss you on the lips, but a polite social peck on the cheek never hurt anyone. Basically offer them your cheek and follow up with a simple peck on their cheek.

It all depends on the two people.
-If they are total strangers than alot of times they don't work because they're usually lame. (unless of course they're drunk ha ha)
-If they are friends then sometimes they work but not often. I found this cute one for you, its more cute as a story then a pick up line but w/e, I thought it was cute =]

Depending on what font you use it varies. If your font is Times New Roman size 12, then it's about half a page. If it's double-lined than it barely completes a page.
