It could just be the straightener. I've had some straighteners work better than others. :] But you could always try using a shining serum, they normally keep my hair pretty straight.

Not sure if this is the exact category. Anyway, I'm a guy and whenever I use my shampoo, once my hair dries it frizzes out quite a bit. I use Head and Shoulders to control dandruff. Whenever I use a different product like pert plus, I get dandruff like no other but then my hair is ok. Does anybody know of a product that wont freak my hair out? (link)

If your hair isn't thin you could always try using some kind of conditioner to weigh it down so it doesn't frizz. If your hair is thicker, try using a shine serum in your hair. Garnier Nutrisse has this really good serum in a lime green, round bottle that works on my hair pretty well. :]

Info: Ok I am 23 and he is 19. We are both artists and musicians. I am black and he is white. Question: I had a crush on this guy at work. Turns out he had a crush on me too. He asked me to date him exclusively. I said yes and we did. He told his family that we were going to be dating and they flipped out because 1/2 of them are racist. We talked about it and decided to work through it. We didn't have sex but we did make out and mess around some, shared some private goals and beliefs etc. Then he calls me after we spend the night together, the day he was supposed to talk to his family and work something out, and says that he isn't as interested as he thought he was. He says we should be friends, but then he stops calling and talking and everything. Then I hear that he was using me to get this chick at work jealous. But he doesn't seem like a malicious person like that, and I think he loves his family too much to take them through that for nothing.He also cried on my shoulder and wrote a song dude! About our relationship and situation. What do you think? What is going on? (link)

I don't think any guy would think it's worth it to stir up half of his family and create a giant mess to make some other girl jealous. That excuse sounds completely redic.
It really sounds like you guys were kind of close for a little while there. It seems weird that he won't talk anymore.
Do you think his family has something to do with it? You think he could have given up or maybe been forbidden to talk to you...?

i was just wondering. is there anyone on this website that wears pads instead of tampons? cause i've tried so many times and read the directions but i just couldnt put a tampon in. also if you wear pads do you play sports? cause i do and i wear pads and i wanna know if its bad. i think its really uncomfortable though. thankss. I wore pads for a whole year before I switched to tampons and I was in Volleyball, Cheerleading, AND Track. It's really hard to do it without a tampon now that I look at it. Seriously, find a female that can show you how to work a tampon. I promise there's no adult who's going to think you're weird for asking. I didn't know how to put one in either, I thought the plastic stayed on it while it was inside of me. Tampons are much more conveniant. Pinky swear. :]

Uhm.. I don't know what that other chick is talking about with tieing your hair back. I've never heard of that...? Sounds dumb. I mean, if one person grabs your feet and the other grabs your arms and they pull opposite ways, is it going to make you grow faster?

But anyway... Try taking vitamin E supplements. Vitamin E promotes healthy skin and hair AND reduces scarring and is known to slow the aging process. :]

I don't think it's too early at all. Just keep your options open, don't make anything definite. You don't want to confuse anyone.
Also, be careful with who you tell.
I had a big problem with that when I thought I had decided that I was "Bisexual".
Hah... it's been 5 years of pondering for me and I STILL don't know. So don't rush it, you'll figure it out.

i just broke up with my bf of 1 year and 2 months. it started out that i was really annoyed with him and all of that but now i think i made a mistake..this is not the first time this has happend. before we broke up then got back together because i thought i liked someone else..i dont know though i just cant stop crying and why is it now that i realize how good he was to me. i cant help but think that if i keep going back to him then breaking up with him that it just isnt meant to be..but i still love him. now we never talk but he talks to my friends like nothing is wrong and i hate that. he acts like he dosnt even care that we have broken up and that really hurts for some reason. There is also this other guy that i have been talking to and we both really like eachother and are planning to hang out but not like jumping into things just hanging out(he dosnt go to my school). but he is out of town right now so i cant talk to him about how im feeling like usual ..I guess my question is should i go back out with my ex or how do i get over it..this is my first long term relationship so i dont know how to get through it. Heh... This can be complicated. No fear, I've been where you're at. Dude, seriously, if you find him to be annoying, no matter how many good times you've had, he just might not be the right one for you. And if you've given him more than a chance or two, it's probably time to leave him.
I don't know the whole situation or anything but if you're crying, it could be because you don't like feeling the rejection.
If I were you, I'd stay single. Just shop around. Go talk to the guy that's out of town when he gets back. You two should hang out so you can get the feel of him, know what I mean? If you don't like the guy that's out of town right now after hanging out with him then go back to the "long-term" guy and see what you two can work out.

You can still get pregnate even if you DO have birth control. Also, there's a new virus out that can cause cervical cancer and many guys carry it. Seriously, I don't care what kind of birth control you're on, ALWAYS wear a condom.
