Q: Me and this guy who have been hooking up for a while had dry sex last night. I was in my underwear (lace thong), and he was in some briefs. He mighttt not have bee wearing it he might have taken it off by then (I later gave him a handjob, but nothing farther).
MYY underwear never came off, but I have this huge fear of getting an STD, so is there any possibility I could've gotten one if he had one? I don't think he has one, but what if he did? That would suckk...
Also you cant get an STD through a hj right?
PS theres NO chance of me getting pregnant. I'm also on the pill.
because you were wearing lace then some of your skin was exposed. if he was not wearing anything then his skin was exposed. there are STDs that are contracted though skin contact. Herpes and HPV to name 2. these are two are lifers.herpes and some forms of HPV are with you for life, that is there is no cure. And especially for woman, you may not even know you are infected. Also you can contract these viruses w/o having an outbreak, this means there is no way of telling if your partner has it.

Q: I am 30 years old, female, and I have been married for 10 years. We have two children, ages 7 and 8. I love my husband and I would describe our relationship as a good one.
My problem is I think about my ex boyfriend. A lot. As in every day a lot. Where this starts to become strangely pathetic is the fact that I haven't seen him or had contact with him in 13 years. He was my boyfriend my junior year of high school. We were only together a few months. Our relationship ended when he dumped me, and I (being 17 and completely emotional) was heartbroken. I got married when I was 20, and I dated a few guys between this ex and my husband. I never give any of the others a second thought.
It really bothers me that I still think about him so much, especially after SO MUCH time has gone by. I know they say you never forget your first love, but this has become beyond ridiculous. I'm far too humiliated to admit this to any of my friends and family. This may sound trivial, but it's become a minor form of torture and is interfering with my life and peace. Please tell me, what can I do to stop this stupidity?
I feel your pain sister! I myself have and occasionally still have thoughts of 'the one that got away'. My story is similar to yours, as in I was a teenager(19), dumped by the love of my life after only a few moths. I am now happily married to a great guy, but that doesn't stop me from wondering about the past love. It can be embarrassing to admit to friends, When you know their response would be: Oh my god, get over it already!
You seem like a down to earth chick. I don't think there is anything abnormal about what you are going through. The constancy of these thought might be overkill, but I think it happens to all of us emotional types.
My question to you is what is it that you are thinking about? What might have been perhaps?
My suggestion to you is to find some way to bring yourself closure because it doesn't sound like you got that the 1st time around. Thinking about him is obviously not something you enjoy even if they are good thoughts.
If you have not seen or heard about him in 13 yrs. then you have an advantage. You need to try and picture him ugly, grotesque even. if he turns you stomach, then chances are you won't be thinking of him too often. Incorporate him as an asshole into your thoughts, the more he is physically and emotionally unattractive to you the less you will be drawn to him.
Enjoy your husband and your life as it is. Even if it is not ideal. Make your husband the most sexy thing you have ever laid eyes on, build him up in your head and act like your newly in love. Pretty soon you will start to believe what you created in your mind And no other man will even compare to him. I hope that I could help. Let me know how it turns out:)

Q: you know those necklaces that are a simple circle of diamonds? and sometimes, they have three circles dangeling off of one another? well, i wanted to know, where can i got those necklaces? and what are they called? the real necklaces, haha. also the earings that go with it? ah, i wish i knew what they were called =/. thanks for any help
I am pretty sure they are called eternity necklaces. The circle is supposed to stand for eternity b/c it has no end. You can find them online or at any department store, they are pretty popular.

Q: I've taken part in oral sex and mutual masturbation but I have not had sex. When the doctor asks me if I'm sexually active do I say yes, no, or ... kinda? Lol thanks!
When doctors ask if you are sexually active you tell them yes. You had oral SEX right? SEX is right in the name! Therefore you have had a form of sex. Mutual masturbation is a gray area, but it is still sexually active material. Would you and your friends tell your parents what you have been doing? If the answer is no, then it counts as being sexually active.

Q: would it matter if i got a peace sign and an anarchy symbol?

or would it be contridicting or what??

help?
It is your body art, do what feels right for you. Are you going to be able to live with it forever? Then do it. The contradiction that you would be displaying would be a statement in its self. besides it's not so much a contradiction as a opposing forces, not unlike the yin and yang. I like the idea, and I think you should go for it, Especially if these two symbols represent who you are.

Q: My family (husband and 2 kids) have not had a real family vacation in 8 years. My kids asked to go to Disney World. They are ages 15 and 12. I booked a 1 week vacation about 4 months ago. We are scheduled to leave June 28th. My mother has since been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Her surgery is June 27th. My only sibling is flying to NJ from CA to be with my mom. I told my husband to go on the Florida trip without me because I felt that the right thing for me to do would be to stay with my mother. He is refusing to go without me and blaming me for ruining our vacation. Is it right for him to blame me? We can’t cancel without losing a lot of money. We will not be able to book another trip anywhere in the near future because fuel prices are sky high, and we would have already lost a bundle. Do I go on the trip or stay with my mother who may be dying in the near term?
It is not Right for your husband to blame you, You know that. I understand that you are having difficulties making the right decision. You need to stop, step back from the situation, and evaluate your options. 1st, when you say that the "right thing" for you to do is stay back with your mom, That is really what you feel you 'should' do. 2nd, have you had a conversation with your mom or sibling about your situation? Maybe your mom wouldn't want your kids to miss out on Disney. They are getting older and there is not a lot of years left for family trips.
How long is this sibling planning on staying with your mom? Will he/she be there the whole time you would be gone?
If you go on this vacation and something does happen, the trip would be cut short anyway and you would lose money.
There are family emergency rates for flights that are offered at discounted prices. Check with some airlines.
The surgery is a day before the vacation, You can see your mom through the surgery and if it goes smoothly, still take the vacation. If things don't go smoothly, then you can cancel.
These are just some options. Talk with your mom and sibling, see what they have to say.
It is not ok for your husband to be so inconsiderate at such a trying time. I am sorry that you have to go through this and I am sorry that your husband is not being supportive.

Q: If i am on my period when i have sex (without a condom) and get pregnant that day, would i continue to have my period afterwards????

Although it is unlikely that you will get pregnant while on your period, it is not entirely impossible (everyone is different). There is no way to know for certain if you would continue to menstruate after conception (getting pregers), this is rare. In the regular 28 day menstrual cycle, the woman ovulates(releases an egg) in the middle, around the 14th day. The 1st day of your period starts the 1st day of your cycle. By keeping track of your cycles you can estimate when the best chances of conceiving are. If you had unprotected sex only while you were on your period, Then you are probably not pregnant.
If not trying to conceive, use protection and keep track of aunt flow.

Q: I do all the little things he like sex is fantastic but he still does not make me feel special. i tell him but he makes no effort still
I am sorry to hear that. It sounds like he doesn't appreciate you. If you were one of my girlfriends I would tell you to try and make him jealous. Sometimes men need to know that there is a possibility of loosing you before stop taking you for granted. If you start going out with the girls and having less time for him and he doesn't respond, then it may be time to find someone who appreciates you.

Q: I have been with my partner for 3 years and i am still madly in love with him, but i feel that he does not feel the same? How do i get the romance back?
I don't feelgood enough for him any more
I am sorry that you don't feel good enough for him anymore. Does this reflect the way he treats you? or has there been events within the last 3 years that have lowered your self-esteem? Does he say or do anything to make you feel that he doesn't feel the same? These are things to think about.
How is the communication in your relationship? are you able to talk to him and tell him how you feel? If the relationship is strong, then you shouldn't feel not good enough.
To bring the romance back you might want to consider what he would like. Often in relationships One partner will do special things for the other That he or she may want for themselves. For example, you may like romantic candlelit dinners w/ soft music. So you will cook a special dinner with that ambiance. Just because this is your romantic ideal, it doesn't necessarily mean it is your partners ideal. Within three years you should have a good idea of what your partner likes. Do something special for him. If that doesn't reassure you, then it is time for a talk. If he doesn't indicate that there is a problem on his side, Do Not keep bringing it up. It will be something that you have to work on within yourself.

Q: I'm 19 years old, and have been dealing with depression since I was eight. I don't have insurance or anything, and I know that I need medication for it. So, can anyone tell me how much depression medication will be without insurance?
And how I can get insurance now that I'm at least 18 years of age. thank you.
Hello,
What I am about to write is not exactly an answer to your question, but bear with me...
You write that you have been suffering with depression for many years. I do not doubt that this is something that you know. I am curious as to how you "know" that you need medication?
Many lay people are not aware that medication for depression often does not work the way it is hoped and it can have some very averse side effects. You need a doctor to prescribe these types of medication, most often you need insurance to see a doctor. If you have not seen a doctor, then you might want to look for a clinic in your area. Many clinics offer services on a sliding scale or payment plan.
Because you have had these problems since childhood, I can tell you that you best option would be to search out a counselor. You can try the local university, some employers offer confidential counseling through their corporate offices, or even the mental health services department of your local government.
I hope this helps, good luck.

Q: okay, so the last two years i have become more miserable-between family and friends, but, this year it has reached a new extreme. ive tried cutting and purging, running, boxing, but nothing helps. i just feel this emptiness. Sometimes, life isnt even that bad, but for some reason i feel the need to be sad. i dont have energy or desire to to do the things i used to do, and i just dont care. i suffer from anxiety attacks and im not even sure how to handle them, how do i make them go away? somtimes i just break down and cry, and i just want to go away, i just feel like i dont fit in.
Hi,
I am sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time. Not fitting in can be tough for anyone, especially if you are also suffering from these symptoms. It does sound like you may be suffering from depression. You are not alone, a large majority of the population either has or will experience a depressive episode at sometime in their lives.
Many people don't realize it but close to 80% of those with depression also suffer from some sort of anxiety problem and vice versa. You may want to find someone to talk to; a school counselor, a parent, or even a close friend.
Try and incorporate some physical activity into your daily routine. This won't work right away, but after sometime it will help with your depressive symptoms. As for the anxiety attacks, there are relaxation techniques that may be able to help you. You can do an internet search for relaxation techniques, this will give you a variety of different techniques, see what works best for you.
Good luck!
