well im 510 and 135-145 and i know that i am really skinny for my height but you may just be very muscular person but your bmi is indicating that you are slightly overweight. try googleing exercise tips and diet plans if you are serious about loosing weight. cosmogirl is very good with routines for toning up.
ask any other ?'s im very open with this. i used to be obese and now ive developed eating disorders from it so please i beg of you be very careful. but considering the fact that i dont know what you look like it is honestly hard to tell if you are "fat" or not.

I'm running for president on monday (don't think that I'm not prepared, I've been working all month, my only problem is that nothing rhymes with my first or last names... I've tried sooo hard.

My family is catholic, but i found out that my brother is "agnostic". This has happened recently, he is a seventh grader and only 13 years old. Will he grow out of this? He goes to church but he never says any of the prayers or anything. A lot of people think catholicism is too "strict" but our church isn't a normal catholic church; we have a youth choir that actually sings songs that aren't boring and we have youth groups and our priests are really nice and actually give good sermons. What can i do to help him? I don't want to shove it down his throat or anything...but what should i do? please help! (link)

see i understand because i am of catholic faith. i dont practice though. but i doubt god sometimes but your brother is trying to find his own way of justafying existance. i cry sometimes because i want so much to believe devotedly and to feel like it wont change but the human mind cannot hold on to something so intense. think of it maybe as santa clause or the easter bunny as kids we worshiped them we looked up to them put faith into them and we found out tht they never were there. let him find his way. it may be a phase i dont know him but i have a brother a year younger than him and im your age. you are a great sister and i praise you for being so considerate i share your concern and i am here if you need anything. good luck girlie.

ok so. my boyfriend and i have been kind of talking about the possibility of sex for a while? not actually saying "hey, lets have sex on THIS day" or whatever, but just like "yeah i want to," and yeah. well the past few times i went there things had gotten pretty heavy, but his friend was always in his room with us, so i always made him stop. but yesterday his friend wasnt there and we were making out on his bed. eventually i pulled apart from him for a second and pulled out a condom a brought. and i asked "how far are you willing to go with this?" and he kind of looked at me as if i was crazy or high or something.
I HAD NEVER BEEN SO EMBARRASSED IN MY LIFE. he was feeling me up and we were making out for what it seemed like 4-6 minutes! am i getting mixed signals here??? did i do something wrong? i dont even really know why i did that except for the fact that i thought something was about to happen. i talked to him later last night on aim. and he said he didnt want to because he loved me. WTF IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!?!??!! i think im kinda ready. and hes not a virgin! so i dont get it! can someone attempt to explain this to me? im avoiding him now and i dont wanna talk to him and i wont for a while but i think im wrecking everything but im just so confused. just because a guy is not a virgin doesn't mean he wont pass up a chance on sex. i had the sorta same situation but i asked him if he wanted to and he said he did but he wouldnt because he loved me. i felt like wait is there something wrong with me am i not turning him on or what. but it turns out that he cared and he knew that i might not be ready and what would happen if i wasnt. i broke up with him 2months later. guess it wasnt meant to be. just trust yourself and try to trust your boyfriend. but if things dont turn out exactly as planned then dont be too let down.

so in a couple weeks my class is going swimming, and I have roughly estimated that I might get my time of the month then, it'll be summer so I cant just not go swimming, can I just use a tampon and go swimming?

taking pills can be harmful and unpredictable. tampons usually the high absorbancy depending also on your flow can be one of the BEST ways to still go swimming. usually if you have a tampon in it absorbs all the blood and if you do leak then it'll be in small unnoticable secretions. but you may want to change it every other hour or more if your really paranoid about it. experiment in a bath tub.

the best advice i have is to poke it through or wear it only when you aren't around her. it wont close unless you always leave it out. so tell her it's out and get your belly button pierced. then you have both. wear it only when shes not around to see it

17/f. I really really like a guy at school who is in one of my classes. I've never talked to him before and I don't know him but I really like him :S

well its obvious to say you like the guy. but i think that you should try and talk to him any way you can. its normal to feel anxious when in class with the guy you are crushing but if you cant even talk then it may become a problem. if you are afraid of rejection of some sort, think of it this way. Guys are usually stupid about girls but they are most often not rude if you try to talk to them or are sweet and fun. but take it step by step. become friends first but dont overwhelm him or you may chase him away. play the game

Technically I'm not a vegetarian, but beginning a few months ago, I stopped eating red meat. I eat chicken sometimes, but since I don't eat red meat I'm probably not getting enough iron. Plus, I don't know if this is the case with me, but my sisters have low-iron anemia.
I started eating a little bit of red meat last week.
The problem is, I haven't gotten my period yet, so I'm wondering if this change in diet is the cause of this. Or maybe because I stopped exercising around the same time I stopped eating red meat?
If any of you are vegetarians, vegan, or don't eat meat, has this happened to you too? or if you've tried this and it affected your period?

i honestly would explain to her how it really is. If she doesn't understand then continue talking to this guy. I see it as you should never have to choose between two friends. Tell her that he understands you and that you two talk about deep things that you have confided in eachother with. Tell this girl that you would (will) be honest if feelings for him return to the way they used to be.
