If I were going to get a cat or dog, I'd go to an animal shelter or pound or something else like that. But I'm not getting a cat or dog I want to get a guinea pig. Does anyone know of a place where I could get one that NEEDS a home (other than an ordinary pet store?)

Well go to any full-blown petstore like Petsmart or Petco. If they sell fish and mice, they probably sell guinea pigs. Before you go, however, read up on healthy guinea pigs, and make sure you don't get one that's sick.


Okay im DESPERATE for a good Eyeliner and a good Foundation, the liquid one, the ones I wear ALWAYS come off within 30 minutes, and its so annoying! and they smell bad too! I really need help!! (link)
Go to a department store (i.e robinson's may or Nordstroms) and ask for makeup help. They can tell you exactly what you want to know, and they can even give you a free makeover! Don't settle for an appointment, go to another booth who has time for you. Lancome and Estee laudour has very good makeup. Don't go to the drugstore until you find the right kind for you, or else you'll just end up with duds!


okay, i would REALLY like to shed a few pounds and get a nice flat stomach for spring break. I always tell myself that im gonna eat less & drink more water, but i never do, and i get a guilty conscience because i cant ever follow through with my goals. What are some tips that could really inspire me to want to be skinny & loose weight..everytime i start working out it only goes on for about a week..and then i`ll skip a day and say 'well i`ll do it tomorrow, i`m busy tonight" and then never do it the next day, and it just keeps going on and on til i forget about it. im really desperate, anything will help (link)
I do the same thing! What I do instead is go for flavored water instead of soda, and at night I do sit ups. Start with 15 or so, and go up each night from there. 15, 18, 22, etc. If you do them at night when you're laying down and ready to go to sleep, it is easier than stopping what you're doing and working out. If you miss a day, then do twice as many the next night, with a 30 second break in between. Don't eat less unless you eat great amounts, otherwise your body will start storing food because it thinks it won't get another meal for a while, and you'll gain weight. Eat until you're full, and have little snacks inbetween, but only if you're really hungry. Don't stuff yourself, and do little things while you work/at school. Fidget, tap your feet, anything to loose those little calories when you're just sitting around.


my friend has been cutting her wrist now for a few months. im so worried about her and she wont stop. she is definitly going to kill herself if she doesnt get stopped. i cant tell on her because i trusted her not to tell on me when i used to cut but now its totally different. i see how it is when your friends life is resting on your hands. i want to tell but i dont even know who to tell. PLEASE HELP.. IM BEGGING YOU!

I've never cut, but I do know that it helps with stress and helping you feel things. Suggest other things to her, like going someplace where it's really cold, instead. I always take off my jacket when it's cold and I feel like cutting or something like that, and then I feel better because it has the same effect. Try to get her to do it less often, or not as deep. If you see great patches of skin missing, or blood everywhere, if she has signs of bloodloss, then tell someone. Try to talk to her, help her through whatever she's going and try to get her to stop. Cutting isn't good, period.


ok, everytime i start to like a guy, i tell myself im not good enough, and i wonder why any guy would want to be with me. im 14 and have never had a real boyfriend, but i desperately want one. and when i finally do start to think im good enough for the guy, i woory about what his friends and my friends would think... i just dont know what to do... just be yourself. If they don't like you, then they are missing out, and don't beat yourself up about it. Instead of thinking about all the bad things about you, think of the good. If you can't find anything, ask your friends why they like you.


okay like im a freshman an im 15 an my boyfriend is a senior 19 but we dont go to the same schools. yeah i always get talks about how hes dating me...a minor...an how its wrong and everything so yeah dont repeat plz. well today he asked me if i could go to this really formal dance at his school and i wasnt so sure becuase my mom of course doesnt know about him and she definitly wont let me go and i dont really know anyone else that goes to his school. i really wanna go but yeah i KNOW i cant. so if anyone has anything about what to tell him that i cant go or ways that i could probably can go please let me know. thanks (link)
I know what you are going through. If you are going to date someone that much older than you, make sure you really like him, and know your boundries about intimacy. If you are really sure, and he isn't some homicidal psycho, then ask your mom to go. The worst she can say is no, right?

And NO, dating someone that older isn't illegal unless you have sex!!


i am fat, not to just myself but other ppl have clled me fat. any way ive tried diets and excersize, nothing works! i need to become anorexic. i just cant stop eating the foods i like! any ppl have some advice besides pills for me to stop eating? thanks appriciate it. (link)
No. It is not the answer. If you stop eating regularly, then your body will store the food you do eat and you will gain even more weight. Get your friends and family to keep you from eating those bad foods, and regulate your diet. Eating a bag of cheetos or a candy bar every couple of days isn't bad, just make sure you eat good things, too. Don't go on celery diets, or anything that dramatic. You will become sick and gain weight, because your diet is not what your body is used to. Gradually lower the amount of fat and calories you eat, you'll do fine. Remember, you won't lose a pound if you don't have self control!


ok this might sound stupid cause like no one can ever answer this but y are guys like jerks to you when they like you like this guy ive been friends with him forever and lately hes been mean to me not like mean mean but like he'll make comments that piss me off and he knows they doo and hes really competitive with me sum1 help me out and explain this too me

sometimes people don't really know how to show their feelings, or they just don't want others to know that they like someone. I personally have done this to a poor unfortunate soul, not be mean, just chase him around and rough him up a bit (nothing too serious, of course!). I didn't want him to know I liked him, and I didn't want to kiss him because that was just gross. So I punched him in the arm and poked him alot. He either likes you, or he likes to make fun of you. Or maybe you just have a weird love-hate relationship.
