advice
so a lot nights, i just can't fall asleep. any suggestions how to make this happen faster?
try taking a sleep aid like melatonin 3 mlg, or advil pm or tylenol pm, they work reali well. melatonin usually works reali fast depending on the person it works in a matter of mins for me. or you can try warming up some milk and drinking it that's an old remedy it might work too.

my room is always messy and when i start to clean it i always get distracted and start doing something eles like going on the computer, i really want to clean my room up is there a way i can make it fun and get the job done
yes you can try putting some music on. that always works for me. give that a shot. play your favorite kinds of music or just play your cd's on a boom box or off your computer.
Lately, it's been incredibly humid outside and sometimes rainy. I live in a dorm and we don't have air conditioning, just windows and fans. How can I reduce the humidity? I read that I should close my window on humid days.. does that really work? btw, I'm looking for other suggestions besides buying a dehumidifier because I can't really afford that right now.. Thanks!
well first off what you could dois yes keep all the wondows shut and all the shades and blinds closed. this make sound crazy but it does work trust me it saved us this year lol try putting a fan facing the opposite way so that the air is flowing out and not in and what that does is that it pushes all of the humidity out of the apartment or room that you are in. now it wont work right away it takes a whileand also when you do that it prevents humidity from getting into the room/apartment cause it's just pushing air out so no humidity or air comes into the room at all it keeps it out completely and it pulls all of the humidity in the room out and keeps it out.
I just moved into a rent house and found out that it has roaches. I put down Combat Platinum gel and it got rid of a lot of them, but I still see some here and there.
I keep the place clean. I never leave food out. All my food is sealed up in air-tight containers. I can't afford Terminex or any other pest control service. How can I get rid of the rest of the roaches?
well first off if you have plastic bags stored in a cabinet get rid of them throw them out immediately cause insulation and warmth is what attracts roaches. they also like to rid in appliances or near them or under them so keep a close eye around your microwave, toaster, coffee maker, stove, etc. you should clean daily and clean all around and clean the appliances thoroughly. adn lastly try investing on getting riddex. that works very well. the way it works is that you plug into you outlit or outlits and it kills all the bugs that live in your walls or where they are nesting where you can't see them. so it kills all the remaining bugs that are or were trying to hide from the stuff you used.
I am moving into a new home and the previous people had a dog. The dog peed all over the carpet and it's really nasty. We're not entirely sure how to clean this pet urine off of the rug properly. Does anyone have any ideas other than to replace the carpets entirely? THANKS :D
well the best way to clean pet stains off your carpet is to buy some carpet cleaner and sprinkle it all over the floor or at least in the spots where the stains are at and to steam clean your rug. that usually works.

Ok, me and one of my very close guy friends likes me. His names Joey.We are very close because we use to date, last year we did. Well, we had a bad break up and he went out with my friend, i warned him she's not right for him and she will cheat on him, and she did. He felt bad for not believing me. Well that's when he started liking me.At that time i didn't we went to the movies together, as friends, and we are very close. I just found out a month ago from his best friend and MINE that he secretly liked me. I don't know why he didn't tell me himself. Finally i asked himself myself if he did, and he said yes he did, but he doesn't want to date anyone right now. Well, i think that's because he just broke up with his recent girl friend (she dumped him :/) , but he's actually happy about it because he didn't really like her, so his best friend said. What i want to know is when will we date? I REALLY truly like him, and want to be his girl friend, and he really like's me to because every time we look at each other and lock eyes, it stays like that for ever it seemsā„ Boy, he's amazing.

well what i think you should do is talk to him, tell him how you feel about him, tell him how you have been feeling about him. let him know that you still want to be be bf/gf but u still want to be friends with him and not damage the friendship between the two of you. just in case it doesnt work out between you two. and see where it goes from there.

And a buncha people are shorter then me. I feel like I tower over them.

no there is no way to make yourself shorter. if anything you atually might get taller over the next couple of years. and plus 5'5" isnt reali that tall. at 15 i was 6'0" i towered over everyone in my school everyone was soo intimidated by me so i know how you feel on that one. but yea sry to say it but there's no way to make yourself shorter.
I need to lose 10 lbs could be 8 or 7.. and I have 1 week to do so. how can i possibly do this. i will do whatever i need to do? i have school from 7-230 and im free from then on and completely free on this weekend too. what do i need to do? ill even listen to the wildest suggestions. thank you
well if your a morning person you can go out jogging for about an hour or two depending on if you like jogging, sometimes going to the gym and working out on the treadmill that always helped me. or working out on the bicycle or going out bicycling for about an hour. all kinds of things like those could help you.
19/female. usually i'm a confident girl, that is only when i KNOW i look good. if i'm having a bad hair day, or my make-up doesnt turn out, if i don't have anything cute to wear it has an effect on my self-esteem.
& the real problem is with this guy i like. well i have mixed feelings, i'm really attracted to him. all the girls love him! me and him are kinda close friends and so he's seen me with no make-up on and my hair NOT done, and i felt so ugly! everytime i feel good, i never see him and it seems like everytime i feel horrible, i see him! and it's not helping the situation.

well to me it seems like he keeps spotting you on days when you arent ready or prepared. what you should do is just make yourself look good, do your hair, dress nice, ya know the usual, and do that whenever your about to see him and run into him. before you leave the house look at yourself in the mirror. i know this may sound kinda silly but look at yourself and think to yourself do i look good? do i look hot? do i look attractive? do i feel good with the look i chose for today? well you get the idea, try that and see how that works for you.
hello im 18/f and i've had my current job for about 2 years now. I just cannot seem to save money though. I have a car and its paid off. I couldnt save money so my mother created a new bank account to help me that way i couldnt take any money out which i needed for insurance. But thats just for insurance. I dont want to have to rely on her to help me. I do eat out alot and spend my money and things that are worthless, i just cant seem to save. I think to myself oh its just $5 or whatever the price may be and i buy it. Being in college now, even though im living at home, im finding it hard to pay for things. Can anybody give me any advice on how i can still have access to my money, but not be so tempted to spend it?

well what you could do ashley is ya know get your own bank account and get direct deposit from your job so that whenever you get paid it goes directly into your account and then dont get a debit card. oh and get a checking account. i'm the same exact way as you. i am always spending money, i cant help spending money as long as i have money i spend it but lately i have been working on it and now i'm doing alot better than i was. but u should try that and also get a chest that you can lock and put some money in there little by little not like 60 or 100 bucks like little bits 20 here 10 here ya know maybe 40 if you want. give that a try ashley and see how tht works out for you ok?
Okay so i should be a pro at this by now, but i'vee been with my boyfriend for 1 year and 3 months today. I love him very very much, but he recently found out that i find a guy at work extremely attractive. my boyfriend and i have disscussed marriage and about a life together. i don't plan on marrying him too soon, but what i really need help on is how do i just focus on him and turn away from this other guy? The other guy that i fine attractive is so sweet to me, but i don't know very much about him. I want to stay with my man, but another part of me is saying it's alright to think this other guy is cute. Is it alright for me to think someone's cute even though i'm dating someone else? well first off it is not okay to be thinking that this other guy that you work with is "cute" or "attractive" at all. you shouldnt evenbe thinking of other guys. the only guy you should be thinking about is your man. the guy that you are with. plus when you think of other guys especially ones that you work with it's not good. you might tell yourself that it might not lead anywhere but in due time the more you think that the guy u work with is again is "cute or "attractive" the more you are going to be thinking about that person and not your boyfriend.
and that's something you dont want to happen. i nknow that you love your boyfriend but i dont think that it's a good idea to think about the guy at work in the way you think about him \. i think that you should just focus on your boyfriend and nobody else ok?

Okay, so the deffinition of physcopath is someone who doesn't have a conciouns (this is what my mom told me). So I think I am, because I don't feel bad about anything I do, period. I know right from wrong and all that, and I know what I should feel bad about and what not, I just don't. I'm in tharapy, but it's never very regular, I've been 2 times in like 3 months. Next time I go should I like mention this or something ?
well it depends if your comfortable talking about something like that with your therapist beacuase that's a bigthing with therapists cause then after you tell them something like that they keep a closer eye on you. it's always a good idea to talk about something as important as that but it's all up to you if you want to talk about it. so if u decide do tell your therapist you should tell him/her whenever your ready to talk about it ok?
