They are NOT really your friends if they ignore you when other people come around... trust me, I called a girl who did that to me every day my best friend for years... but she wasn't even really a regular friend, let alone a best friend, for doing stuff like that. So I would just try to move away from these friends of yours and find some new true friends... trust me, real friends who aren't afraid to be seen with you no matter who is around are so much better than fake friends... First of all... DON'T GIVE UP ON BOYS!!! Ok, here's the 411 on how to act around guys: just be sweet and friendly, but don't act all that interested in them in that way. The minute a guy feels like a girl is hounding him and clinging to him, he doesn't like her. The more you act like you aren't interested in a guy, the more he will like you! That's the truth, trust me! Oh, and NEVER EVER EVER EVER ASK A BOY IF HE LIKES YOU, EVEN IF YOU SINCERELY THINK THAT HE DOES!!! I know that I may have said before that it's okay for a girl to ask a guy if he likes her if they're friends, but I was WRONG! It's a rule of nature that boys have to be the ones who have to ask girls if they like them first. Just be yourself, and you'll get a boyfriend eventually, don't worry! I'm sorry to hear that! I would just be nice to Alice, and I would smile at her, but I wouldn't go out of your way to try to repair your friendship. If you're a preteen or teenager, which I assume that you are, boyfriends don't last that long. This is just a stage that your friend is going through, and she'll get over it. I hope I've helped!

Q: Hey I have to get braces in about a month and Im really scared cause I cant imagine having metal on my teeth lol. I just wanted to know from 1-10 how bad it hurts and how long about do people have them on?

It hurts a lot for about the first week of having them, but then you get used to them... and as to how long people have them, that widely varies, like I'm only going to have mine for a year but I've known people who've had theirs for 3-7 years... so it depends on much work needs to be done on your teeth. Just eat healthy and exercise! That means running, crunches, etc., but I personally have found that running helps the most... good luck!

Eat more calories than you usually do... and eat lots of protein. But make sure that it's healthy for you to be gaining weight before you try to!

Q: I have always had one best friend (let's say her name is tori). Recently, at parties Tori has been ditching me for someone she calls her "new best friend". She tells me that I am still her best friend. I hate her friend though!
