ok-i live in southern louisiana and were out of school today (wednesday), tomorrow (thursday), and idk yet about friday for hurricane ivan. so on my profile it says holy crap no school tomorrow! i mean a lot of people put stuff like that ya know. (and for people that live up north, to get a day off for a hurricane is like ya'll having a snow day-thats how it feels) soo my mom and my bff's mom work together at a preschool and thats where we met when we were 3 years old and now were almost 13 so we go there with our moms to hang out n stuff sense we dont go to the same school. and well were actually born 2 days apart but shes shorter and umm lets just say not as well devloped as me! soo yeah and shes sorta immature, but like not like stupid immature, but like her family's kinda strict in a way like she cant see pg-13 movies until shes 13! (which will be in december) but anyhoo- so cusing isnt THAT big of a deal in their house mainly if the dad would say "damn" or something only everyonce in a while it would be ok but like my friend says them like when shes saying a story or somethin. but back to the story: well i had my away message on and she got on the internet and was like hey OOO u have a bad word on ur pro! (and i could kinda tell she was joking ya know when i was reading the message) but then she was like but seriously thats not like u? why did u say that? but she has no clue i actually cus kinda normally, like say crap and stuff which techinically isnt that bad a word and i say it around my other friends and stuff at school but she signed off b4 i had came back. but i dont get why she thinks its that big of a deal if i would say something like that-yeah maybe shes not that used to me saying it but idk...am i over reacting?

well i think shes overreacting...im 11 and i say other cus words **like real ones** but its probably just from her family backround and shes not used to it **poeple where i live are bible thumpers...people who like live by the bible** and they always overreact the same way when i say something like crap when i drop something or something or other...but i think its not really a big deal and you dont need to do anything with it

*I rate*!ok... the like 2nd week of school my friend in 7th (im in 8th) tells me that this guy told her that he likes me (hes in 9th) and he told her my first and last name and said he really wanted to go out with me but he wouldnt tell her his name... now of course after she tells me this im curious so she looks in my yearbook and says i think its him... and im like omg! cuz he is really hott and nice cuz i had p.e. and swimming the same time as him and i had a huge crush on him and i kinda still do... and i want to go out with him really bad! wut should i do?

I'm 15 years old and have a 20 year old brother. We are extremely close and we usually tell eachother everything. He has this girlfriend who I absolutely hate though. Everything she does is annoying and she's pretty much a slut. I feel like he can do so much better than this girl but he's supposedly 'in love'. There's this guy who I just started hanging out with.. and like all my friends make fun of him cause he's in the "loser" crowd at school and I'm in the "populor" crowd. He's kind of gothic/punk type of guy. He's a really cool guy.. and I admit, I thought he was a freak at frist. When the teacher told us we'd be sitting together for the hole year in art, I thought I was gunna die. But, we became really close friends and we have a lot in common it's crazy. We'd find our selfs slipping notes in eachothers lockers and writing back 10 times a day. Well, about a couple of days ago, he called me for the first time ever this summer and asked if I wanted to go to the mall with him. Of couse I said yes, he's a blast to hangout with. We ended up going to the mall and I couldn't stop laughing around him, then my friends showed up. They pulled me to the side and asked me why I was hanging out with a "loser" like him. I told them he's cool, brushed them off and went to hangout again with my buddy. Well, one of my good friends, called up the guy that I was hanging out with. He told him that I was only using him and that they payed me to hangout with him and be his friend. He totally believe him. I tryed everything to make he believe me and not my friends, but he wont listen. I'm sorry this is so long but I really need some help. Please? What should I do about all this? Thanks so much! (link)

well you need to talk to your friends tell them how rude that was and tell this guy again and again and agin that it is not true if he had any trust in you in the first place he will finally realize it really wasnt true and that you really do like to hang out with him

when i'm going thru pms (the week before my period starts) i break out in pimples really bad. no matter how much i wash my face, they are still there for that one week. but after my pms is over, they go away on their own and i have PERFECTLY clear skin until my next cycle. but when i do break out its really bad, and my dad suggested taking me to the dermatologist, but i was wondering if it's worth going because no matter what medicine i'll use i still think i'll break out during that one week reguardless. what do you think? i think you should go to the dermatologist if it bothers you a lot...the medicine or different face wash or whatever they suggest could help you a lot

well your first time on your period you probably will want to use pads...thats what i used wear an overnight pad at night-and the next time your supposed to get it wear a panty liner that way if you get it your fine and under control and if you dont its no big deal

ok...my step-dad is VERY VERY VERY VERY racist....its so annoying...and niether my mom or dad or step-sister or step-bro are racist at all...and he just talks about n*gg*r this and n*gg*r that ans it just gets so annoying and no matter how we all tell him how annoying it is and how he needs 2 stop he just goes "well thats my opinion...blah blah blah" and we tell him we dont care about his opinion so much that he has 2 tell us a million times and its just so annoying but im not racist at all and i just hate it when he or anyone talks bad about anyone....its just so annoying...and its not like u can talk 2 him cuz hes so opinionated he doesnt listen 2 anyone....what do i do...i cant stand it when he gets on one of his talk things and we r all yelling at him and he wont stop.....help!! oh my godd...i dont know what to do any more...i have a step-sister and i would KILL to have any other step-sister then her!!! she is bratty and spoiled and rude and thinks shes the queen and she obsesive compusive about every single thing!!!!! and pple how say 'i know how it is' have no earthly idea how it is...i would try 2 tell u everything she does annoying in like a day but it would take me a day 2 type it all...ok...shes 10 and shes a brat...and she thinks shes not but everything revolves around her and if she doesnt get it then she cries or goes 2 her room and slams the door and of course her dad babies her and he has 2 go tell her everything is all right....just think of this...on his and my moms wedding day she started crying becuz everyone was talking to my mom (the bride!!) and paying attention 2 her and lindsey (the step-sis) started crying cuz they were all talkin 2 my mom and not her!!!!!!!! and shes so rude she will come in my room and i will ask her 2 leave if she starts getting annoying and she will just start laughing (this annoying evil laugh....not kidding) and i will tell her and yell at her and she wont go and if her dad hears us fighting he goes 'ANGEL (thats lindsey although she is anything but) why dont u come over here for a while' in baby voice...and she has 2 have everything done for her...like she has eggsima(sp?) and she always ask me can i put lotion on her and i go no and she goes why and i go u can put it on urself all u need is someone 2 put it on ur back....so she stomps off and goes and tells she dad and of course he puts it on for her even though she can do it her self...and shes so rude like she will burp and fart in my face and i tell her 2 stop all the time and she just laughs...(that same evil laugh i cant stand) and now that all those things get on my nerves...the little things she does gets on my nerves 2...like she always has 2 turn off her light and close the door when she leaves her room...even if its only for a minute...and at one point my comp. wasnt working so i go use hers (yes she has one...at age 10!!) and when i was done i pushed the keyboard tray thing in and the keyboard was a little bit crooked and the mouse was like off 2 the side of the mouse pad and she goes U CUD HAVE CLEANED UP!!!! and she sits down...straightens the keyboard and puts the mouse in the center of the pad....ughhh....she just gets on my nerves so damn much and its not like i can yell at her cuz she will just go crying off 2 her dad and he babeies her!!! trust me if u think u know how it is...u have no idea!!!!!i need help!!! how do i ignore this little brat for a step-sis!!!!!!!please help!!! omg i think i would die i feel for you soooo much...but you need to talk to your mom talk to her dad to and tell this to them tell them that you think he babies her tell them what she does that annoys you and tell them to talk to her if they dont or she has a hissy fit talk to them again and tell them that you will take any drastic measures to help them teach her that what she does is annoying and wrong...im not sure how shell take this or if this will help but talking to your mom will probably help a little

hmmmm...this isnt a solution that will work in two days because you have to order it and it gets mailed to you....but proactive helps soooo much but once school starts your face will be getting sooo much better once you start using it but until then clean and clear helps**atleast it helps me**

okay you need to tell someone anyone before it gets worse tell a teacher or your friends mom or just anyone...because I dont know how you should approach your mom...if it were me tho id hit her before she hit me and say thats how it feels and run away to my friends house...buts thats what I would do...and thats not exactly the best way to go about this...hopefully once you tell the person lets say you told your teacher...the teacher has an obligation to tell your mom that its child abuse

Well im 16 and lately I have been feeling really lethargic and sad. I have cried pretty much every single day or I have been in a bad mood and didnt want to do anything. I can never fall asleep at night and when I wake up in the morning I am still tired and want to go back to bed. I took some tests online and one of them said that "The likelihood that you have major or clinical depression is high." and I took a few more and they pretty much said it was high. But I cant tell my mom or step dad about it because they will tell me im fine like they always do. They will say im just overreacting and its not a big deal. But I have been feeling like this for the past year or so, not constantly but it just gets bad sometimes. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? (link)

i think you should go to a doctor**like a psychiatrist**ask your normal doctor for refrences and they should have some but you do need to tell your parents they need to know how you feel sit down with them and tell them that its been going on for a year and hasnt gotten better...
