How do you get your hair like aubreys when she uste to have it like in loose curls? Thanks in advance (link)
|
I assume your talking about Aubrey on Making the Band 3? If you are, keep in mind that she has a professional team of hair stylists that do her hair, but check out this website: http://www.ehow.com/how_2831_curl-hair-with.html
That is how I curl my hair and it turns out looking a lot like Aubrey's. If it is your first time, you might wanna go to your hair stylist and have her show you how to do it, or ask your mom or a friend to do it for you. Good luck!

I need some help on which exercises work the best and fastest on toning by butt and inner thighs. (link)
|
Lunges and squats are both very helpful if you do them correctly. They both target the specific muscle areas that your butt and inner thighs cover. Here is a website that shows exactly how to do these two exercises and also many other ones to help! http://onhealth.webmd.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=52449
Another thing to try is run!! I know jogging is the oldest exercise there is, but there's a reason so many people do it - because it works!! Running hills especially realllly works your thighs and butt, you'll feel the burn. Just make sure you stretch beforehand so you don't pull or strain anything!

My dance teacher just said I could make up my own jazz/hip hop routine for my 12th year recital. Anyone have any good ideas for songs? (link)
|
I know you asked this question about a week ago but I love dance so I wanted to give some suggestions.
Hip-hop:
Hit the floor - Twista ft. Pitbull
Flipside - Freeway ft. Peedi Crakk
Bebot - Black Eyed Peas
4 My People - Missy Elliot
Partytime - Missy Elliot ((basically anything by Missy Elliot you can make a sweet hip hop dance too, but these are 2 of my favorites))
Jazz:
River Deep, Mountain High - Celine Dion
Stand Out - Tevin Campbell
Absolutely Not - Deborah Cox
Good Luck - Basement Jaxx
Those are some of my favorites that I've seen and done some really good dances to! If I were you, I wouldn't choose anything that's on the radio or really popular right now, because everyone will be so tired of that song by the time you perform it and a lot of other people will have dances to the same song as you. So I wouldn't choose anything like Promiscuous or Bossy. But that's just my opinion, good luck!

I'm 15 and in need of a job. The store I want to work at only hires people 16 and older. Should I add a year to my age? what's the worst thing that can happen & could they easily find out? I'm just wondering... thanks! (link)
|
Well, the worst thing that could probably happen is they would fire you and you would probably be banned from ever working at that store again.
The thing is it's not just the store rules that say you must be 16 to work there, it's the law. So lying about your age is a very big deal when it comes to the law.
And yes, they COULD easily find out because you will have to submit your Social Security Number on your job application which you got when you were born, and clearly states your age and birthdate. And plus, don't you think it would be hard to remember the whole time you are at work to say you are 16 and not 15?
What if you accidentally slip up and let your real age out? That could turn out really bad.
If I were you I would just continue doing things like babysitting or working at places such as grocery stores or restaurants (being a hostess) until you turn 16. Or for now, just enjoy not having a job and being able to do whatever you want all the time!

I'm kind of "addicted" to Gatorade. Everytime we go to the store, I buy it. And, instead of buying cokes to keep around the house like I use to, I now buy Gatorade.. and drink atleast 1 a day. Ok, my question is.. Is Gatorade bad for you? And is drinking this much harmful? Should I cut down on any/all/how much? (link)
|
No, you don't need to cut down at all!
Gatorade is supposed to help your body in the same way water does, except for it does even more by restoring proteins and electrolytes back into your body that you sweat our during exercise.
The only bad thing about Gatorade is that it tends to have a lot of sugar in it, but if you only drink 1 or 2 a day this isn't a problem. If you want to cut down on the sugar though, try Propel. It has all the electrolytes and proteins that Gatorade has, except for it only has 10 calories! My favorite is Strawberry Kiwi! :)

hey,
how can I apply bronzer without looking orange?
ty luv Rachel x (link)
|
It's not really HOW you apply the bronzer that's making you look orange, it's WHAT bronzer you are applying.
My favorite bronzer ever is Benefit Hoola. It's a dark brown color that really looks good on everyone. I've gone through about 3 of them this summer because I just like it so much! Here is the link to it: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P8940&searchString=hoola
You can buy it at all Sephora stores if you have one in your area, or you can just go to www.sephora.com and order it online. :]

13/f going into 8th grade.
Ok, I'm not that rich. My mom and dad have been working extra jobs just so I can go school shopping in lexington. They said that I will have about $400.00 by the time we go. I was just wondering where abercrombie and hollister are located in lexington. And I was also wondering how many jeans and shirts I can get for this amout of money. Thankyou much in advance.
I rate answers. (link)

Well, if you're talking about Lexington, Kentucky then I know that they have both an Abercrombie and a Hollister at the Fayette mall.
But if you are trying to get an entire wardrobe for $400, these might not be the best places to shop. I don't know what size you are, but if you can wear a girls 16 or under definitely shop at abercrombie and not Abercrombie&Fitch. It's almost exactly like Abercrombie&Fitch only they carry smaller sizes and it's MUCH cheaper than the bigger one.
Shirts at Abercrombie & Hollister can range anywhere from about $20 - $60, but a good idea might be to go to their websites: www.abercrombie.com and www.hollisterco.com and pick out what you want beforehand, and then print it off and go buy it in the stores.
Hope that helped! :]
Oh, and by the way, make sure you thank your parents for working extra just to buy you clothes. That's really nice of them and if you show that you appreciate it they will be more willing to do it again in the future.

I need a good foundation. Which do you all reccomend that wont be cakey and dry out skin? I have combo skin if that helps.
I want one to look like i have NO flaws.
Thanks =] (link)

I've found that most liquid foundations make you look fake and overdone, and like you have tons of makeup on. They are also messy and can create a break around your jawline so that everyone can tell you are wearing foundation, and you want everyone to think your skin is naturally perfect!
So what I do is I use a concealer to cover up any redness or imperfections (like acne), and then I use Covergirl Fresh Complexion Pocket Powder all over my face. I know that Covergirl is a cheap drugstore brand, but trust me I have tried tons of designer brands too that are much more expensive and none of them work nearly as well as this does.
Hope that helps!
