How can I be the best maid of honor EVER? My best friend is getting married. She has a matron of honor, me as her maid of honor, and her two sisters as bridesmaids. She lives way across town (about 45 minutes away from me) and the wedding will be her her hometown (about 1-2 hours away from both of us), where all of those other people live. I really love her and want to make it as special as I can for her, because this is pretty much the only marriage I've ever believed would work at all.

Okay, this is hard to explain but I'm going to try..
Last night I was sleeping and woke up in the middle of the night, but I couldn't move my body AT ALL. I could pretty much see around me and I told myself to move my body but I couldn't because it just felt soo heavy and painful. After a minute or two I could finally move.
This has happened quite a few times before, but I want to know what this is. It really freaks me out and I'm terrified when it's happening.

when you are asleep your brain turns certain parts of your body off so that when your dreaming your body dosnt act out your dreams
so your brain will shut down the part of your brain that makes muscels move while your asleep
your lungs heart eyes still work but you cant move your arms or your body
