I like this guy. wwe are friends and stuff, and we used to like eachother but everything changed. but of course im not over him.i jsut miss the way things used to be, i miss the way we would hangout and tal to eachother. but he ist alking to a million girls now. i feel like i am not good enough for him, and my mom is like in love with him and she thinks that we are boyfriend and girlfriend, even thoguh i tell her we are not. we dont hangout anymore nd i miss him. but i think getting over him wil be the best thing. but there are noooo guys ive known them all throughout middle schooland highschool, thre is no one new. i just dont want to be this lonely. how do i meet someone/ get over this kid! omg that reminds me soo much of the guy that i used to like! We were like inseperable and evrything and evrythin changed all at once and i was so depressed. get over him as soon as u can it's not worth living in your past move on and talk to other guys. Even if theyre not new maybe you can see them in a different way once youre over this other guy. you so can get over him, i got over the guy i thought i was in love w/ and i wish i had some1 tellin me to get over him sooner. it is possible and once youre over him you wont care who hes talkin to. 13/m Long story short, I like her a lot, I told her, she doesn't like me back. Here's my current problem: I think she's ignoring me. Like at schoool everything's just too weird to talk to her. Awkward, let's say. So I've been trying to patch things up. I tried inviting her over one day. Saturday, she was babysitting. Sunday, she had rehearsal for a play. Same thing happens week after week after week. Just today I tried asking her to come over. Same story. No good. I really want to make things all better. I want to be able to just talk to her, which we haven't done in months except for on AIM. Our only 3 classes together, we're across the room, which sucks. So we don't even see each other much. We used to goof off a lot as friends. Like all the time. Things were cool. But now they're not.
Last night was a school dance. I had asked her a few days earlier. She said she had rehearsal. So I went with three of my friends to eat food and drink punch & soda. And guess who was there, that's right her. So those three guys were like pushing me to talk to her, bribing me, etc. Eventually, I talked to her. Apparently, she sent me an e-mail (I checked this morning, it didn't go through) saying that the rehearsal was cancelled. Then this girl started teasing me about my e-mail address (I made it up when I was 7) and the one I like hugged me.
It's not the first time. Third, actually. First time was last year in science. I told her I was feeling like crap. She hugged me. I got scared, never having hugged anyone outside of family before. So I rejected it. Second time, we were at a carnival. She had persuaded me to get on all the wild rides. Hardly anyone was there yet, so there was no line. After the fifth one, I started vomiting. "Oh my god, are you OK?" and hugged me. I stood there and just murmured that I was fine. Third time was last night at the dance. It's my best one yet---I stood there. Yes, that's right, I just stood there. Then I did the stupidest thing in the world---I cut it short for the $5 I had been bribed for.
I'm such an idiot. I've been waiting for another moment in which she would hug me, and here it is. What do I do? I run away to get $5. (In the end, all he gave me was a quarter...) But I couldn't help it. I literaly couldn't think! My mind was drawing a complete blank! The only thing going on in my head was in my subconcious, saying "Get out of here, fast!". My concious side was just scared and confused, and didn't know what to do. For those of you who have read Flowers for Algernon, it was exactly what Charlie was feeling. Whenever he got too close to Alice, his inner child would pull him back and prevent him from doing anything. I guess my inner child was still scared of commitment and everything. I want to hug her, considering it's the first of many steps to a successful relationship, but there are no opportunities in the halls at school, and as I said before, there's never a good time for her to come over. So I guess I'm just doomed to be a hopeless freak with subconcious fear of so much as a hug...
I guess my three big questions here are:
1) Is she ignoring me?
2) If so, how do I prevent it?
3) How can I hug her?
I know it sounds really pathetic. All I want is a hug. There's all these people here asking about banging and stuff, and here I am, eager to get a hug. But you have to realize that I've never had a relationship before, and I don't believe in dating unless there are true feelings. And if you believe that teenagers don't know love, I acknowledge that fact, and I'm not the same as every teenager on Advicenators. Besides, it's important to get a feel for what dating is like before we start the real thing, eh? And don't treat me like a little kid. I may be 13, but I'm not stupid. I'm just socially distressed. No smartass answers either, please. ok it sounds like you guys are pretty good friends, and maybe after you told her that you like her she didnt know how to act around you. I dont think shes ignoring you, you jus dont see each other too much and if u wanna hug her just offer her a hug!!chances r she'll hug you back, and after youll be soo glad that you did that.you sound like a real sweet guy so why wouldnt she want to hang out w/ you. jus give it some time, talk to her HUG HER and maybe she will like you too. and if it doesnt work out move on theres so many other girls who will appreciate you. your young (i am too so im not treatin you like a kid) so try talkin to a lot of different girls

anywayz i hate my hair its always frizzy. i wanna straighten it but its still gets frizzy. does anyone know a way for me to get rid of this frizzy hair without my hair looking nasty and feeling hard like hair spray. thanks!!! (link)

the name of tha cream is "Aussie Calm that Frizz! styling cream"
use an anti-frizz cream that you can put in before you straighten it. you can get it at like any grocery store. hope it works for you

i have hair below the shoulders that is wavy and on the thicker side and im getting a new hair straightening iron i already have two but i have had those for a long time (hottools) and some cheap brand is there any hair straightening iron that makes your hair very straight, frizz free, ceramic, and smoothens and straightens hair but is less then lets say $125

omigod i definately know tha answer to that. my straightener is Vidal sasson ceramic and it works soo good. It was only like $20 and it does all tha above. It's tha third straightener i got and its tha best one. My hairs wavy and long too so i hope it works for u

I have this friend,lets just call her Sally.Well she likes this guy and we saw him at the cinema with his mates 2 weeks ago and we all started hangin around together.we asked the guy that she liked (lets call him john) to meet (french kiss) her but he said no coz he doesn't want to ruin their friendship and I thought what a load of bull ****.So the next day in school we kept hangin round together and john kept comin on to sally and we asked him to meet her agin and he said no.I didn't particularly like this guy in the 1st pace but now he's ok but when we 1st start hangin around with eachother again he started pretending he forgot my name and pronouncing it wrong but he must have been faking coz all he could say to me last year was"I know your name" So the last 5 nights he's been in my dreams as a friend but last night he was heaviy flirting and the nekt day when I went into school he was flirting with me for real!!! I don't want to be mean to Sally but she doesn't know that I like him but she says she loves it when her friends like the same people as her.Last year Sally had a crush on this other guy who liked our other friend Lisa.Lisa got asked to meet this guy but she didn't in the end but when she was going to Sally didn't even care .Another thing is the guy I like is about 6ft and I'm only 5ft2

i dont know about you but whenever i have dreams about a guy it almost always makes me like him, maybe u should make sure you really like him if you do tell sally. It's not your fault if you feel that way about him, but it will be if you go behind her back.

im am 13 i havent gotten im period and im afraid it will happen at the most embarrassing time like in class or something. i went to the doctor and she said that she etimated it would happen when im 17 but im scared that it will start and i wont knwo and ill be really embarrased :-( (link)

ok if you get it at some random time it wont matter cuz it'll only be a little bit at first so by the time you get home u can jus take care of it then. so dont worry about it.

I am 5'1" & I weigh around 139 to 143 lbs. I am not happy with this at all..I am a lil pudgy around the middle and want to loose this! I have tried and tried with the crunches everynight but that hasn't seem to help so now I am at a loss of what to do next! =[ One of my friends can loose 10 lbs in a week by just drinking water...maybe I can try this! If you have any suggestions then PLEASE let me know ASAP!! (link)

if you want to loose weight you should really try to eat healthier and by drinking water the weight you loose will come right back once you eat again so dont try it. Also try other exersizes.

omigosh dont have someone eles do it for you, it will make it seem to her like you didn't care enough to tell her yourself. I hate it when guys ask me out that way and there's probably a less chance that i'd go out w/ them than if he asked me himself thats jus me but its jus soo much cuter to ask her yourself.

ok first off ive seen tha same thing and its all because of the way someone acts and it won't matter what they look like at all. You really do need confidence so stop saying that you're ugly if you see yourself in a better way other people will too and you'll have a hot boyfriend before u know it.
