You said you have Hot Tools too? & It doesn't work? Hm. I love my straightener. And the Hot Tools straighteners are only about $25-35. You said yours was old, maybe try getting a newer Hot Tools one. It should work. =) [ yourperfectdisaster's advice column | Ask yourperfectdisaster A Question ]
Abercombie_Babe answered Wednesday October 19 2005, 8:18 pm: Yes, there is ceramic hot irons are the best for your hair but just rember that all hair irons damge your hair and make them frizzy so what i suggjest is that you talk to your hairstylest of a cosmitalogest and ask where you can buy a good hair iron. But heres a good tip to not make your hair frizzy i use it and it works extly well use Tres may something like that its in a black bottle you can find at wal mart and spray that on your hair then flat iron it and it protects it from heat and makes your hair smooth and silky
Hopes this helps

xOchErrytWistOx answered Wednesday October 19 2005, 7:56 pm: CHI. Global Beauty Network. This thing is my freaking life. The best flat iron you can buy. Its about 105$$ on amazon.com. You may be able to get it from your salon. If you dont get the CHI, get something ceramic, it damages your hair less and has more even heat.
Anything else about hair, straighting, and whatnot, let me know.

x0brittany0x answered Wednesday October 19 2005, 7:40 pm: I would try a Wet 2 Straight thats what I use it, it really makes your hair frizz free. OR a conair ceramic straightener my friend has that and it also works great. Both about $25-$30 dollars. [ x0brittany0x's advice column | Ask x0brittany0x A Question ]

urmomsachltcvrddnt answered Wednesday October 19 2005, 7:34 pm: The one I have sucks, but a lot of my friends have good ones. I'm not sure what brands, but they're from CVS and look plastic on the outside part. One is purple. I don't how much that'll help you but...yeah
