im turning 14 in a week and two days. i really want to start making my own money. i dont know where i can get a job. i have heard of some places around me that hire at age 14 like food stores, but when i go there its all older kids, and i wouldnt want to be the young one. any idea of where i could work and not feel too little?
fast food places do hire younger but alot of people dont go for the same reasons as you. you cans tart there at 14 tho, as long as you have ur working papers. sometimes the grocery stores will let you work there too. try babysitting for poeple you dont know or that you already know. i know subway(if you have one) hires at 14 tho. but whatever you do, have fun and good luck!

Okay. So I have been really unhappy all of this year. For reasons I don't wish to explain. But the thing is, I hate the town I live in and I hate most of the people that go to my school because they make my life a living hell. So now I have a chance to move. It's totally my decision, my mom doesn't care either way; going or staying. My best friend knows this. But he said that if I move that he won't talk to me or call me anymore. But see; He is going to a different school anyway this year. So what is the difference in me staying or me going. I'd only be moving a little bit away. If I stayed the only time we'd get to see each other is on the weekends and it would be the same if i moved! and we could still talk on the phone EVERY NIGHT. He doesn't understand. What do I do?
well if things are so bad where you are, like you are making them out to be then maybe you should move, and you said its only a little bit away so it's not that far. If you would be staying only for your best friend, thats really thoughtfull of you, but if hes going to another school anyways, and hes the only one at your school now thats there and with you, because you said most the people there make yur life a living hell, and hes gone from there then you really dont have anything left. I think you should talk to him and tell him that without him in that school you wouldnt have anything, if thats the case, and that your not moving too far away, so you can talk every night and tell him it wont be the last time he ever sees you either, cuz im sure you'd have other chances later. But give the moving a shot, you dont like yur town or school, maybe start out fresh? Whatever you decide is all on you but if i was in yur shoes thats what i would do, just base yur decision on whats going to make you happy. good luck, and let me know what happens

For my school it's just jumps, and loudness. and you have to have a good attitude. They Dont Look For Much Like The Round Offs Or Anything, Like Tumbling. But if You Try Out For Varsity You Have To Make Up A Small Sideline Cheer. Thats All For My School, But It's Differant Everywhere, If You Know Anyone Who Cheered Before Ask Them How Ur School Does It

ok this may sound complicating but its easy to catch on and ill word it easliy as possible.
click start-->then run & type in regedit and hit ok.
then in the window that comes up click hikey_current_user
then the list that drops from that folder click software.
then..america online .. in the drop down from there click aol instant messenger
then click users .. then click on your screen name
another drop down of things will come up..click im
then ur done on the left of the window.
....now on the right..
in the list of stuff it says like default, font style and stuff, click font color.. type in a hex decimal color code.
if you want to change your window color click window color and do the same.
in order for your colors to change you need to close that and then they're changed!..have fun and good luck. if you need anymore help with this or anything drop one in my inbox or im me on my aim sn all ill help because i do this all the time.
sometimes i can not tell the difference between capital and lowercase letters,and sometime i look at words and they are backwards or flipped,also i get confused with the letters "d" and "b" or "y" and "g" or "m" and "w"

yes you can, my mom does it..it's something like verizonwireless.com and you just have to put in your info. and it will show how many minutes you've used so far,past bills, and your current bill, etc.

im 15 too and my mother is the exact same. i buy them when im shopping with my friends and i just dont let her know i have them. when im doing my laundry i make sure i wash the thongs myself so that she doesnt and find out. just take chances, most likely you can keep it from her. good luckk!
Hey. Does anyone know where you would get a work permit? I know I could get one at my school, but since it's summer, I couldn't get one because school is closed obviously and no one is working. at my school the guidance counselors stay there at lease once a week in the summer. do they do that at your school?..if not idk where you could get it because all i know is you have to get it at your school because your school has to sign it too incase you work during the school year and you also need a physical along with it. sorry
