ok.so i love my mom to death and i want to get her something special for v-day. i only have $10.Any ideas that are great but around that price range. and please dont tell me to go get a job because i cant get one that quick.

Get her a single pink rose along with a halmark card. Tell her how much you appreciate her, and do something really nice around the house.

After my best friend's death her troubled teen daughter came to stay with my family. Of course there were conditions. Job, school (g.e.d.), no drugs, booze. After just 5 weeks she broke all the rules. Got fired from a job that I helped her get etc....THEN she started an affair with my teen age son. Claiming she's "in love", he works and goes to school. He was being rail roaded. She just dug her claws in deeper. It was getting crazy. I had her leave yesterday. She went to a shelter, I feel grief and relief at the same time. Maybe she should have never came. Maybe (somehow) I should've dealt with it. For at least a week I didn't sleep and eat (lost 6 lbs.). My husband is supportive of my decision but my )OLDER son (29), says I was unfair to her. What do you think, please I need advice !!!

First of all you are one hell of a person to open your home to someone like that in the first place. There needs to be more people in the world like you. You did what sounds to be everything you could have done to help this lady. Some people are just impossible to help. My mom use to say you can't help someone who won't help themselves.

my dog died, & i dont think i'll ever be the same. does it ever get better? & what can you do to someone that hit your dog?

I really couldn't tell you. I know if I ever lost my dog it would be like losing a child, thats how close we are. Some people just don't understand that. If someone hit your dog there are legal actions that can be taken depending on the case. I am truely sorry for your loss.

I just got a new dog, and I named him Theodoric, the- (like in theatre) ah- (like a scream) door- (like what you open) rick (just like it sounds). I don't mind calling him the full name in the slightest, but I want him to have a cute little nickname. Any ideas?

My dog has a trouble with biting,he is just a puppy, and he is only play biting but i dont want him to get used to biting, so what do i do?

I don't agree with "hitting" dogs, but everytime he goes to bite, playing or not, flick his nose (not to hard) soon enough it will teach him that he is not suppose to bite period.

hey ppl! well, i'm 14/f, and i have a problem. when i was about... 11 i think, i wanted to start shaving my legs. well, my mom didn't think i was old enough to shave with an actual razor, so she got me an electric razer thing. well, now i'm 14 and that electric razer does just not cut it. it doesn't get all of the hair off my legs. i want a razor, but i don't think my mom will let me. does that stuff by suave or whatever work? its the stuff kinda like nair. with the bladeless razor. idk what to do. help! thanx!!

It works but just make sure after you use it you are not in direct sunlight for atleast 24 hours. I used it once and went camping right after and a rash broke out all over my legs.

okay, so i really want to go to this concertt. i live on long islandd and the concerts in massachussetts. (4 hours to drive)


..my mom said no, but i need help convincing her. i havent asked my dad yet, theres a possibility he will say yes, but i need some help convinving.

so my question is...
1) how do i convince my parents?
2) can you think of any other alternatives on how to get to the concert?

Well, if you 'rets absolutely have to come with (which at 13 you really don't have a choice in the matter) then this is my advice, or atleast what I use to do. Start doing EXTRA chores around the house. Little acts of responsiblity parents really notice. Sort of play the bands' songs around the house, just not at an annoying volume. Who knows? Your parents might actually find that they like a song or two. Sit down and make a list of REASONABLE reasons why you think your parents should take you, and call a family meeting. Discuss the reason your mom said no in the first place and find out if there is anyway possible to resolve it. Hope it helps!

I've gone out with this one guy like 3 times over the past 3 years. But he moved away a couple of months ago. I loved him but now I've moved on from him. But lately I've started talking to him again. & he keeps saying that he likes me alot still and that he loves me. (And that's the first time he said he loved me.) But I don't believe a word he says anymore. He's proven to me that he can't be trusted. And I honestly don't like him anymore. Like I'm fine talking to him but he always yells at me about other gujys and it really annoys me. & I've told him that. Well, I hate to be this obvious, but this question is really silly. Here are the facts sweetie:

1) You don't LIKE him anymore
2) He seems the "jealous" kind
3) He has already proven he can't be trusted.

(and a relationship without trust, is not a relationship at all)

So there, here is my point hun MOVE ON AND TELL HIM TO HIT THE ROAD! Be friends with him if thats what you want, but set it to him strait, let him know he is not going to act like a jerk towards you. Only you can put your foot down. Hope it helps;

Well if you are sure that you and your boyfriend are ready for such an emotional commitment, as well as prepared for the possible consequences, then try writing him a letter, or telling him over the phone. When I was younger (which I was shy) I always found it 100% easier to talk to a boy through a note or over the telephone. Just make sure when and if you decide to have sex, you use protection!

Okay, so I am so confused. I think I still like my b/f but IDONTKNOW. When he had a g/f I can admit I was jealous to see them together and when I would see myself wishing me and him were together. This happens to everyone. You never realize how much you want a person until they are spoken for by someone else. To see them happy, with another person, just makes you want them back anymore because you think "that use to be me." Only you can decide what to do here. I've always wondered how couples make their relationship last. How do 2 people stay together for 2 years & still be so happy with each other? I understand that it takes love but there's gotta be something else to it. So if anyone can share how they have made things last, I would really appreciate it.

To me it's like fixing soup lol (don't think I'm crazy, go with me here.) You throw in a little love, along with a little lust, a dash of trust. and a whole lot of friendship and WAAALAAA; you have a great relationship. For my husband and I, it took us a long time to realize this. I think other than love, friendship is the main key to having a great, long relationship.

At 15 you are what we older folks like to call "curious." With your dad and brother not around you are spending alot of time with your mom..right? Being around a woman for a long period of time can rub off on you, get you confused about things. My advice to you would be to get out of the house more often and start just hanging with the guys. okay when my boyfriend and i are making out, i get the urge to make a move to go further...but then i back down because even though he's in the moment and everything and will act like its "a-okay" for me to give a hj, he will resent it later. First it sounds like your bf maybe a virgin and could be just as nervous as you are about going further. Ease into it, don't rush things or it could be bad for you both. As for that act bringing people closer, sometimes it works, and sometimes it backfires in your face. Giving up the v-card it is one important decision. lol I heard this when I was younger to! It does effect everyone differently. Me? I lost alot of water weight I was holding, but I think my butt may have swollen =) lol It really just depends. Be patient though, you will fill out in due time with or without birth control. I was a A cup at your age and now 4 years later, I'm a D cup. Hope it helps!
