is there neway to make my lowered chevy s-10 any safer to drive in the snow cuz my mom said that i am not gona b allowed to drive in the snow cuz it isn't safe but i really don't wanna ride the big ole cheese wagon lol. yeah, if you put weight in the bed of your truck that'll help
my dad puts tires in his truckbed all the time when he goes to work during the winter. chains on the tires will help too :D be safe ;)

Ok I have a guy i like and who likes me or so my friend says. well if he likes you...(sort of) then he really wouldn't care what yall are talking about, as long as you're talking to him. When you go back to school this week, ask him how his weekend was, what he did. so on. if he's planning on going anywhere for christmas. just start talking to him, after you ask him some stuff like that, it'll make it much easier to talk about other things, and to start talking at other times. good luck!

okay, i just started my peroid a few days ago, i`m 13. i found pads are annoying. i tried tampons but they hurt so bad and i can`t even get them in, is there something im doing wrong? i looked at the directions and everything, and i have almost the smallest size, can anyone help? (link)

Tampons shouldn't hurt at all. Try putting them in at a different angle. you'll come to realize, they are awesome!

I just moved to a new school and I'm finding it really hard to make some friends (i'm in 9th). and it just gets really lonley on the weekends because I don't like do anything. And my friends from my old school, I don't talk to them anymore. I don't know if there is any advice you can give me (besides that whole join a sport because I am doing a sport in the spring) and join a club because I am already in some and they arent very helpful with meeting people. you may be shy at your new school...but a good way to make friends is just go up to people and introduce yourself! something like "hey, i'm new at this school, just wanted to say hey. i'm *name*" it may be hard at first...but just make yourself do it! Start talking to people in the lunch lines at school, accidently run into someone and say sorry, give smiles to random people. it'll all work out

For some reason this is long, I don't know why, but it's longer than it needs to be. I know this isn't totally asking for advice, but I'm 14/f/nc, and this year our cul-de-sac's Christmas party is going to include of a secret santa. My neighbors dad is playing santa, and each one of the children (everyone under 18) had to draw names out of a hat to choose who they'll be buying their gifts for. Well, I got my little neighbor, she's 4, and I was wondering, what types of things would a 4 year old want. I am babysitting for her on the 4th and 5th, so I'll probably ask her, but I'm grounded this weekend for cutting class, and me and some friends are going to the mall on Friday(tomorrow, I only get grounded on weekends, not on weekdays) So that's the only time I'll have to go, otherwise I'll have to wait until we go grocery shopping, because I'm grounded for the next two weekends for cutting class (not going to my 4th period, I got caught the last 5 minutes of school... so close yet so far away...) Any suggestions will be appreciated... and if you want to leave rude advice, make it funny! (link)

Smoking up is a very common thing. Chances are...if he really wants to be on his athletic team..he'll sober up for the test. If you really like him, don't worry about what people say. You know you like him, he knows he likes you..so obviously you're not desperate for much! If him smoking really bothers you..talk to him about it, and tell him how much you dislike it.

ok I have this ex, and he has like 4 personalities, because one minuite he's really nice, next he's really horrible. It sounds like this boy has MOOD SWINGS like crazy! One night...yall should just hang out, and when you catch him in one of his sweet, good moods talk to him. Let him know how he acts, and how he makes you feel and hurts your feelings. If he really cares about you...he'll make an effort of changing. Don't expect anything over-night. Just deal with it if he's trying. If you really like each other, yall will stick this out together!

I am 14, in ninth grade, and I am female.
Okay, first I'm going to give a little backround information.
I had a boyfriend that tried to cheat on me with his ex girlfriend. I knew that I couldn't trust him ever again, so I broke up with him yesterday. Don't worry, I feel really good about it.
Well, a few days ago, I found out from one of my friends that another friend of mine, Ricky, likes me. At first, I wasn't sure I could trust the friend that told me, T.J., because T.J. is weird like that. Then, my best friend Megan told me yesterday that Ricky has liked me for a long time.
My question is, is it okay to go ahead and date Ricky so soon after dumping my previous boyfriend?

Date who you like...it's beter than leading someone on! Who cares what people say? People really shouldn't talk about it. it's not likely for a 14 year old to be committed to someone for over a month. date around, but realize..nobody is perfect, everybody is goign to have something you hate...you just learn to love it!

That's normal....you'll get used to it. As long as it doesn't hurt when you put it in...you'll be fine! If it does hurt when you put it in, it shouldn't. Try a different angle, and you'll come to find that tampons are a gift from God!

Sry so long!!! well theres this guy that ive had a thing with for a like 3 months or so and its been off and on. Well the other night i was drunk with 2 of my friends. And this guy came over and he was sober. One of my friends was pretty much passed out and she has a bf too...well this guy decided to take advantage of her and make out with her and i think maybe even more...not so sure though...after he made out with her he would come over to me and start taking advantage of me...well i didnt know that he was doing that until my other friend the only one who didnt do anything with this guy told me the next morning what went on. How can you still like this creep!? He messed around with YOUR drunk FRIEND? ..and then you?! If he fooled around with your friend while she was drunk that just goes to show that he thinks about her. If yall did end up hooking up, or dating or whatnot..would you be comfortable to know that he took advantage of your drunk friend, and thinks about her? NO! cartilage piercing is safe...if done professionally and cleaned on a regular basis. I got mine pierced in july, and cleaned it 2 times a day and it's doing fine. I also know someone who pierced it themselves. It's doing fine also, but i would NOT recommend it. Not only is it not sanitary but it could end up in a catastrophe! Your best bet is to go get it pierced by a professional! You don't have to be a certain age, just take your mom, get her to sign some papers, and pick out the earring! Be sure to clean it though. It's not all that expensive, mine cost 37$

I am 13 years old and I do not like my body. I am young for my grade and I am considered rather small in my grade. But what bothers me the most is that I have no breats. I can't even fit into a size A yet. All my friends have breasts but I am as flat as a cardboard. Consider this, I am a size 34 in sports bras but not the size A to go with it. My mom is a 34B and she says that she grew at a slow rate. Please help.

There's nothing you can really do to enhance the speed of your growing. Grasp the concept that everybody is different. I know a girl in high school who is 16 and still has no breasts. You'll grow, and begin to develop more. Some people hit puberty as late as 17. There's nothing to be worried about. But if you're extremely annoyed and want to look a little more fuller up top...consider finding bras with a little more padding.

ok so my bff who i've known since 1st grade is being kinda mean to me. we are going to a new school now and well i get the feeling that she just wan to be in the "popular crowd". i'm "popular" in the sense that i have the most friends but not in the sense that i'm bff's with the girls in the "coolest group". i am really good friends with alot of girls in the "popular/coolest" group so i guess alot of people consider me popular. but my bff doesn't, so when i have classes with her and the some of the "popular" girls, which i always do, she completely ignores me or talks to me only when the "popular" girls are. so most of the time she only talks to me when the "popular" girls are and its kinda annoying. she's been ignoring me lately and ditching me alot for these "popular" girls. and it's nto just me who thinks this. our other bff's think so also. so we are all mad at her. me and my other friend the most cuz one time we all were partners for this day where we take care of these unfortunate little kids at a carnival type thing at school. anywayz she ditched us to hang out with my other really good friend who is like the most popular girl at school. she never came back to our group and we had to take care of two kids, but my other friends were helping us cuz they only had one. anywayz so she ditched us while me and my other friend took care of these two little kids. and at the end of the carnival she came back to say goodbye to the little girls. and she pretended that she had done everything with the girls that she had done the most work and that she should take all the credit. so now i am mad at her, and so are 5 other girls. i don't know if i should tell her that we're mad at her or not. or maybe we should just ignore her and ditch her like she does to us. please help me she is really gettin on my nerves even though i love her to death she's being a real biatch!!!!! I would definitely talk to her about it. Just tell her how she's hurting your feelings, how she's acting, and how she's changing. Help her understand how much the friendship means to you, and maybe it'll soften her up! If she doesn't change...was she your real friend? If she doesn't apologize, or change. Just meet new people! Smiles are contagious. If/when she does start to realize that she lost her best friend...don't be too easy to forgive and forget...let her know how she made you feel.

Yes! You should Definitely give it back! Just think....if your friend found 40$ in your closet *even if you didn't know about it* and stole it...how upset you wouuld be. you would feel betrayed, and you wouldn't be able to trust your friend. If you're a real friend, you'd give it back.

Girlz, I need your help! There's nothing you can really do about it, it's normal..it happens. Unfortunately just at a bad time this month! Just tell him, to me since he brought up "cuddling" he might not even want to fool around tonight, maybe the good news is something totally different. But just let him know before things get steamy...he might be a little disappointed, but it's nothing you can help, it's a natural thing
