okay...i have my end of the year swimming party on monday (today is thursday) and I just got my period. Usually my periods are 3-4 days long...so it is perfect timing in a sense. BUT on Monday I am worried that while I'm at the pool in my bathing suit i'll have a disgusting stain or something. I've never used tampons before but I am ready to start. What my question is...what can I do to have fun at the party while still not having any problems with my period? I need an answer asap! thanks
use the biggest absorbency. they usually work pretty good, as long as you change them often. no big deal- just be yourself, and you'll have fun! good luck!
okay so yesterday i got highlights [bleached] and i wanna go underwater in the pool.. would they turn green or sum,thing go worong if i did?
im not exactly sure. ive heard that blonde hair can sometimes turn green from chlorine. i think the best bet is to call the business where you got it done, and simply ask them if anything- they'd be the ones to know. hope i helped!
Well I'd been using clearasil ultra on my face and chest and they got really really dry and tight. my face is getting better but it's still a little pealy and nothing i do will help the skin on my chest, its all red, splotchy, and tight from where the medicine was. I've stopped using the medicine but it seems like even moisturizing doesnt even help. I have graduation in a week and i'm wearing a strapless dress help!

Okay, I'm 15/Female if that matters and I've liked this guy for about a month. He liked me at the beginning of the school year for a long while but he never told me that because I had a boyfriend at the time. Now, I'm single and I'd like to go out with him but here's the problem .. he's been dating this girl for a month. I don't get why they're together though because everytime he wants to hug her she just pushes him off, she never wants to hold his hand, kiss him, or anything and I don't know why because they're going out .. but my question is, should I wait until him and his girlfriend break up so I can ask him out or should I go ahead and try and like some other guy or do something else?
definetely wait until him and his girlfriend break up to tke anything further. but also- please DONT be a part of their breaking up!- that could very well be the biggest mistake you could make between you and him. good luck.

Okay in my last question I asked about how I should ask this guy out and it ended up being that he asked me like 2 weeks ago. Now theres this girl in our class, big boobs, yeah I know grade 7? but anyways she's like sugar and the guys in our class are wasps. If she's standing alone anywhere they'll rush up to her, annoying. For the past little while she's been holding hands with the guy who asked me out. She likes to hug him in front of me and she acts like their together. She has a boyfriend but I still don't get. I haven'y blown up in her face yet but I will soon. His friends name is Derek and he asked them to like lay off on what their doing cause it's annoying me but they haven't. I want him to just say no to her but I don't think he can. What should I do?

AHH where do i began? This guy named tony, i like, allot, used to like me, allot then another girl got in the way. they started going out although i stayed strong and still love him. well they broke up and he still kinda has feelings for her. the 1st time we hung out all we did was talk and thats is. is there any advice one what i can do to get tony's love for me back again?

I was fairly recently diagnosed with having OCD and Anxiety. I am taking medications for these disorders of the brain. However, I can never sleep and I have to appetite whatsoever. There are also many other side effects that I have, one being the possibility of an eating disorder. Can someone help me, please? In any way possible?

I was a cutter... im not anymore. I did it for about 2 months and finally my boyfriend got me to stop on my own. So, i made some pretty interesting designs when i cut myself... I cut in the middle of my forearm and i made shapes like hearts and stars and stuff and ive quit back in February. I wear a wristband now, but, my parents haven't found out that i used to cut myself. So, what my question is, is there a way i can get the scars to be not very visible for summer? Because i know that i will be swimming a lot and be real active... help is appreciated and im getting sick of wearing a wristband all the time...
well, kudos to not cutting anymore. i give you props on that one.scars like that usually heal after a while. you say you only did it for a couple months, so they cant be all that bad.i would suggest covering them up with waterproof makeup for a while. other than that- there really isnt anything to do. if your parents see it, and question them about it- dont hide anything from them. the main part is that you quit. you are no longer into that, and let them know that youve changed. really hope i helped. lamewithakause@yahoo.com
Sorry this is so long..but it's really hard to explain.
Okay, so i went out with this guy like 3 times in the last 2 years..and my best friend likes the guy..but she hasn't as long. We are now going out again and i love him soo much. But she still likes him and is ALWAYS following us around..i dont know if he likes her or not..he says he doesnt and always has said that..so maybe he doesnt..but he doesnt act like it. But today i really needed to talk to him alone and she insisted that you needed to go to (because she likes him) so i told her to just go away because it was getting annoying and now she's mad at me. But i have a feeling she's just using me to get to him anyways..and i dont know what to do..so i guess my question is: What do i do about her being mad and how do i get her to realize that he is MY boyfriend and she doesn't always need to follow us around..? I don't wanna seem like a bitch or anything..but it really is annoying. Thanks for any help!
is it's annoying, then you cant be nice to her, and expect her to not be led on. i think you just need to tell her straight up, that he is yours, and remind her, that if she had a man- you wouldnt always be following her aroundall the time. let her know how it makes you feel, and if she still insists on following you around, then its time to be mean, it seems like this girl is just trying to not have him out of her sight- when really- she has no business followin y'all around. good luck!

Summer is coming up and i want to look the best i can in my bikini. i want to shave my bikini line but i have never done it before and i heard if you do it wrong you get ingrown hairs. i don't know what those are but they don't sound good. so i want to know if there are any specific instructions for shaving bikini lines....

ingrown hairs are like little pimples, that hurt to the touch. they can look pretty gross, and take a while to heal. i would suggest just using loads of shaving cream. the more preotection there is on your skin, the less likely you are to get these nasty little things. watever you do- dont shave your skin when it's dry, or just with soap and water. but im sure you already know that. hope i helped!
this guy who is a grade above me asked me out, and i said no. the only problum is he still talks to me and flirts with me and smiles at me and crap, and i think hes gonna ask me out 'again'. not only that, but i like 2 of his close friends alot so i dont want to majorly affend him. i dont want to have him ask me out again. its imbarrising. could someone please help me i rate well!
