i know a lot of people go to sleepaway summer camps for like the entire summer and just love it. well i have never been to one and i definitely dont think i would want to go all summer. but i really want a way to get out there and meet new people, make more friends and have fun. are there any sleep away camps like this that only go for a short period of time? like maybe a week or 2? i want to go but i am kind of shy at first and im not too good at talking to new people, so i think i would try to convince a friend of mine to go with me. do you think it would be a good idea? and any other suggestions, thanks
hey, well im not sure of any sleepaway summer camps that are only two weeks long. you said that you know friends who went to sleepaway summer camps and just loved it. even if they are more than two weeks long, ask them about it. find out more information and ask them for more details. if it sounds like you would be interested, find out if they would be interested in going again with you. they probably already had friends in that same camp that they made from last summer, so thats a plus because she could introduce you and then you`ll already have friends. you can still make your own of course. also if worse comes to worse and you cant bear another minute of it, its not illegal to leave early and have your parents come and get you. if you get homesick, write letters and do care packages =].

Learning and training
It seems that guinea pigs learn mostly through repetition and association of cause-and-effect (which can also be thought of as classical conditioning, in psychological terminology). In particular, as with many animals, their zeal for learning is greatest when food is involved. All of this makes the guinea pig very trainable; they can learn to use a litter pan when outside the cage, and even come when their name is called. It takes a great deal of patience, and several sessions with your pet, but the potential is there.
To potty-train them, it's best to start by taking them out of the cage for only a few minutes at a time and letting them run around on the ground. Put them back in there cage, and wait for them to pee. After they do this, bring them back out. If you see your guinea pig get anxious on the floor, back into corners or perform other pre-toilet activities, put them back in their cage, and then reward them with a treat after they pee before letting them back out again. Eventually, they will get the idea that the cage is for peeing and the carpet is for playing.
Most guinea pigs learn quickly that the cage is a safe place, and as a general rule, they will litter in familiar territory. This does make potty training easier, provided you never let them establish a litter spot somewhere on the carpet in the corner of your room. If you opt to let them roam the house, or part of it, at will, it is inevitable that you will have a few accidents. Some well-placed litter pans can reduce, if not eliminate all of these.
Guinea pig poops, however, are harder to control, as they not only drop them at seemingly random times, but they also eat special, moist poops that are stored in a small sack inside their anus. These poops are essential to their health, but can be frustrating to owners, as they have no qualms about stopping whatever they are doing, wherever they happen to be, to reach down and eat a poop. And in doing so, they may eat half, and drop the rest where they are standing, which might very well be in the middle of your carpet.

um. okay well i used to be friends with these four
girls & this one guy & we were like best friends &

hey, well i think that you should definately talk with either girl three or girl four. i would actually confront both of them. dont confront the two of them together tho, because then they wont form there own opinions and may copy each others answers. its always good to let your friends know how your feeling and how there actions are affecting you and how they may not even know that they are hurting you. if they just sort of laugh it off or blow you off, they arent worth it. sure, they might have been your best buds at one point, but if there not catering to your feelings now, there not worth it. join clubs or sports teams and get involved. that way you can meet other people with the same interests as you. have other friends or cousins or relatives introduce you to new people. dont be a sterotyper. just because someone dresses "prep" doesnt mean that you should rule them off as a "weirdo" and then just decide right of the bat that you wouldnt want to become close to them because of the way that they dress or act. who knows -- under there popped collars and abercrombie clothes, they might be very loyal and a good friend. also another not to do is to not become close with someone because other people might a) make fun of you or b) not like you because you hang out with that person. first of all, you shouldnt care about what others think of you. you should only care about what makes you happy and if being yourself is hell for everyone else, then so be it. also, those people that make fun of you or give you trouble for hanging out with a certain person, there snobs. you shoudlnt even give them your time or the time of day. good luck =].

hey, well that sometimes happens to me too. it especially happened to me when i first started doing it or when my boyfriend first started doing it to me. its just that your not used to having something in there, so the bodys reaction is to bleed a little. the more that you do it, the less it will happen. if you have been doing it for a long time, you probably went deeper than usual and therefore that area and depth isnt used to having something in there so it will bleed a bit. having to pee afterwards is normal. it happens to everyone.

hey, well my doctor said that at 5`0 your suppose to be 100 pounds. from there on, you add 5 pounds every time that you go up in height. examples: 5`1 = 105, 5`2 = 110, and 5`3 = 115. according to my doctor, your perfect weight is 115 pounds. you only have to loose about 20 pounds. join a gym with a friend or relative. dont join by yourself, you wont be motivated as much as you would be by trying to compete with the person you go with. eat healthly also. good portions are key.

hey, i think that you should nicely tell him to practice what he preaches. basically what i mean by that is, tell him that you always tell me to not judge people by the music that they listen to, take your own advice. say it in a nice and clever way.

So about 1 year ago my face was acne free and had no acne marks...I didn't have the slightest clue what was an acne mark. Now I've gotten a bit of them on my forehead. alright a couple days ago my friend came with me and my mom said she can live with us because she has no home and her dad abuses her and kicked her out
well she was living with her friend and she didn't want to live there anymore because they were about to kick her out anyways so she came over my house to live with me and her dad called the cops and reported her as a runaway
the cops tracked me down with my phone and they took her to westcare which is like a child haven and they said if her dad doesn't want her then they'll call my mom to come get her and have her dad sign the papers so she can be the foster parent of her.

Margie (a coworker) gives me really terrible advice. Marjorie lives and works about an hour from me (we work for the same company but different locations). We mostly talk on the phone but got together three times. Any way I was telling Marjorie that in the department I work in the manager frowns if one goes next door to get something to eat or drink when it isnt your lunch hour and the coworkers in my department decided we may chip in & buy a coffee maker. Marjorie said Oh I think you should just buy one for yourself and if the people you work with start in with you that they want to make coffee from your coffee maker you should tell them well I have to check with the big boss. (Why would I do that. That is a good way to alienate all of my coworkers who I like). Marjorie has given me bad advice in the past. For example: when my former boss from the same company wanted me to quit because he wanted his old secretary to come back tried to make my life a living hell, and in addition to making my life a living hell the exboss told me that either my job would go part-time or downsized. I told Marjorie and she said to me oh you should ask him when your last day is. (Could you imagine if I asked him that is like saying ok i am ready to be fired). My question: What do you think of Marjorie and her advice?

hey, yes its bad for your eyes. you could get an eye infection easily. also its bad for your skin. if you leave any type of coverup on your face when you sleep, your pores clog. pores clogging lead to acne and blemishes. make it a point to not forget to remove your makeup before you sleep. its okay to sometimes forget, but for the most part take it off.
My little sister is 10. She got her perod when she was 9. She is a pretty big slu* and she had sex 8 monthes ago. So know she is 10 and 8 months pregnant. hey, well your going to have the face the facts and tell your parents when they get back. its your fault for not doing anything about it sooner, unless you just found out about it recently. you need to take her to the doctors, get her tested for STDS, and ask them what you can do about it ASAP. also you need to have a talk with your sister about her actions and how there not good, especially for a ten year old. hear her out tho. see her side of the story and her reasoning for doing what she does. dont block her out when she speaks and really listen to her.

hey, alright so im guessing that you cant handle being just friends with him. the whole point of not talking to him, is strictly not talking to him no matter how many times a day you see him. dont just stop talking to him all together out of no where, you need to have a talk with him first. explain to him that you really like him and have strong feelings for him and that if you cant have him, than you cant talk to him anymore. let him know that you cant handle being just friends and by talking to his as friends your teasing yourself. its the best for you if you cant just stay just friends wiht him.
