Hi, this is Kate. I'm 17. My life motto is 'Live Laugh Love', I really think those are great words to live by and I'm planning to have it made into a tattoo. I'm not religious but I love learning about different religions. I write stories based on things that have happened to me because sometimes I have days where I just think 'wow that sounds like something out of a book'. I've finished 3 stories and I'm about to start my first horror story..very exciting. I believe in fairy tale love...the kissing in the rain, staring at the stars on the rooftop kind of love..Why? Because I'm in that kind of love and its been the greatest time of my life. And it didn't come easy.
I'd love to help you with whatever issues come your way. I've been in relationships where the guy was too old for me, the guy was my best friend, the guy just wanted to get some. I've been the other woman but I'm not proud of it. I've been the girl who waits years to be with the guy she wanted.
I come from the type of home where everyone seems okay and then when everyone leaves its chaos. My parents should have been divorced years ago and I can't stand to be around either of them so for now I'm going day by day, only coming home to sleep and counting down the days until I go to college in August.

hey, I'm 14 years old and i really really realllllly like this boy i met this year at my new highschool. He's super nice and sweet and funny, but rather shy and softspoken if he doesn't really know you. But we've gotten to know eachother over the past 2 months and we are now friends. Recntly it seems to me as if he is prehaps showing some signs he likes me. We have 4 classes together one after the other so often we walk with eachother to our next class and he jokes with me the whole way. Also, i've caught him staring at me a few times, but whenever i catch him or he catches me we hold eachothers gaze for a few seconds before continuing what we were doing. I smile and laugh alot when he's around and he smiles when i talk to him and we always joke with eachother. But besides from school, we don't really hang out much or talk out of school, unless its a school function like a dance which we've had one and he said hi to me and we talked for a few brief moments. I don't ask much, but when i do ask he does favors for me and i do favors for him if he ever asks ( which he doesn't that often)
Now we talk comfortably in school quite often, but does he like me back? thanks for your help.

its possible, deffinately possible. im kinda in this same situation but i hear the guy say to one of his friends that he likes a girl that he just met a few months ago and might ask her out once he gets to know her.(i started talking to him about 2 months ago) anyway back to your question. try flirting with him a little. not overpowering whore flirting but just laugh and have those awsome gazes at each other. keep doing it and if he doesnt already know then he'll get the hint that you like him and if he feels comfortable enough with you then he might tell you if he likes you. good luck, anything can happen

My 15th birthday is the 17th of this month.
I want to have a party, but I need to know what exactly i'm doing in order to have the party. My mom is spending a lot on me for my birthday, so i'm going to have the party at my house. What are some ideas of things we can do? I already have movies, and video games, haha, you can tell I can't think of anything.

happy birthday, mine is in a week and im planning my party right now. so, get some balloons because somehow no matter how old you are balloons are fun. we ususally just hang out, run around outside, watch movies and the "Scene It" games are surprisingly fun, especially with a big group. make a contest that the first two or three people get make up put all over their face (its funny to watch them wake up). if you google search "party games" you'll get cool games for all age groups that no one has probably played before.

TELL HIM YOU LIKE HIM. i liked one of my good friends very much but i thought it would be weird if we went out, we flirted a little and he might have liked me but i didnt let it go any further than that. now one of my best friends is going out with him and even though i'm happy for them i regret not telling him that i like him.

okay ... well i have like almost curly hair... i mean its pretty much curly.. i mean i would love to just like let it air dry and wear it to school like curly.. but there is 1 bad thing POOF!!! my hair is soooo poofy i mean its horribley bad..it poofs out like right when it drys. is there anythign i can to do my hair not to make it have little to no poof... i mean and i wanna make sure it works so if u have experience with it that'll be great (link)

erbal essence shampoo, the orange bottle it's anti-frizz and aquage curl defining creme(found at salons). you put it in when you hair is towel dried and just let it air dry, i take showers at night, put the creme in and in the morning i barely brush my hair its just perfect. hope it works for you too

I'm 16 years old and female. I had a boyfriend for over 2 years and we broke up at the beginning of the summer. I broke up with him, because I didn't really have feelings for him anymore, and he didn't treat me very well. Anyway, I've had a few boyfriends since him, and it was awful for him because he desperately wanted me back. Well now, I'm single, and he just told me that he has a new girlfriend. i kinda had this happen to me except we were only going out for 4 months and he got a new girl friend the next day. i wasn't jealous i was just mad. i didn't like him anymore and was happy when we broke up but i still thought about him alot. i learned how to focus on other things like my friends and just have fun being single again. go somewhere with friends that's just a girls night out or something like that. i think the biggest mistake people do is confuse jealousy and left-over love. don't hang on to him. keep moving on and don't go back because it will only make it worse. maybe find a new guy to focus on. good luck

im 14/f and 5'6. you may get taller or your mom's height might end your growing. if you do grow any more it'll only be another inch or 2 which really isnt that bad. i like being tall. you can find people in supermarkets better.lol

i live in new york and we get alot of rain. some places are nice though. cities have alot of clubs and thats where the young people hang out. malls are good to hang out and go shopping or go to the movies. most kids in america are really oriented around their friends. i know me and my friends get together alot. america isnt exactly like tv but i wouldnt want to live anywhere else. hawaii is my favorite place and they ALWAYS have good weather. about 85 degrees everyday (farenheit that is) and its not humid there, and theres the beach almost everywhere you go. so if you want to visit america for sunny weather go to hawaii. if you want "real america" then go to new york city or los angeles.

it costs about $6 at walmart. i think it works very well, someone before me said that they couldnt get the smell away but if you wash your legs after you do it like the directions say then you wont smell. it doesnt give you bumps or burns unless your alergic to it or if you leave it on for more than 10 minutes. it doesnt work well on the bikini area because those are thicker hairs but there is a special creme for that area, just look near the bladeless razor kits at the store.

try going online and finding photographs of little bakeries or coffee shops and maybe one of the eifel tower(that would make your theme obvious). if you think that you're skilled in art then try painting your own paintings for your room that'll add a personal feeling to the room. get a fun little painting of a pink poodle too.

Im 15/f, blonde hair, blue eyes, im 110 lbs, im a size 0-3 in pants (depends on store), i have a slim body, im kind've flat chested (A36) and wanted to make them seem bigger haha. I just wanted advice on what clothes to wear, and what kind of make up to wear. I was a tomboy my whole life so, im not good at this. Please help, any suggestions would be appreciated. a v-cut sweater or any kind of shirt would look nice especially with a small chest. distressed jeans are a nice way to transition from tomboy to girly girl. a padded demi-cup bra would be good, it gives a little extra "stuff" without an obvious enhancement of a push up. demi cups are the one's that are kinda a low cut bra. just google it under images and you'll know what i mean. i tight fitting hoodie sweatshirt works with almost anything. for make-up, dont do anything extreme, a simple mascara or eyeliner is fine. oh and for a smokey-misty look for your eyes, use a light gold eye shadow and lightly brush it completely accross your eyelid so it goes from the inner crease to a little past the end of your eye and do a tiny bit under your eye, that and a blush that is slightly darker than your skin tone, and a light colered lip gloss(optional). straighten your hair or keep it curly(gel it when its wet). ok i think thats it, oh and get some cami's they're good for a lot of outfits.

i don't get what pushup bras are. like i know they make your boobs look bigger, but when i saw a picture of them, they just looked like normal bras. i know there're like sports bras and normal bras, and they just looked like normal bras. are there two diff types of bras that look like normal bras, or are they the normal bras?? push up bras have a little bubble of padding on the bottom of each cup that pushes up your boobs to create cleavage and makes you look like you have bigger boobs. they look like normal bras in pictures and you cant tell if someone's wearing one unless one day they look like they're a b-cup and the next day they looks like they have c's

its really different because of the amount of freedom that you have. high school is actually fun. there's really nothing to be worried about. the older kids dont really bother you but it gives you a chance to become friends with older people if you want. hmm some things to know...organize your books in your locker so that when the bell rings you can change your books quickly, in my school you cant carry bookbags and you have 3 minutes to change classes. and you should study at least a little bit. i started high school in 8th grade so i was 12 and in the same school as 18 year olds. i was fine and you will be too.

i have one(her name is dakota). basically i just told my mom that i would pay for it. i bought a book about them and let her read it. they're not as much of a big deal to take care of as the books say. they live for a really long time so tell her that she wont be left with the responsibility after you move away and be true to your promise. they're really social animals and are fun to have. my sugar glider and my mom have become office buddies.(we have the cage in our office) but my dad and her just cant seem to become friends. lol. but anyway i think the most costly thing is buying fresh fruits and vegetables for them. dont try to convince your mom that you're ready for a pet by buying a gold fish because they die easily. maybe start with a hamster. thats what i did and she said that when the hamster died then i could get a sugar glider. and just to my luck the hamster lived 5yrs! which made my wait so much longer but it gave me extra time to save up for a cage and accessories. GOOD LUCK!
