Hi, this is Kate. I'm 17. My life motto is 'Live Laugh Love', I really think those are great words to live by and I'm planning to have it made into a tattoo. I'm not religious but I love learning about different religions. I write stories based on things that have happened to me because sometimes I have days where I just think 'wow that sounds like something out of a book'. I've finished 3 stories and I'm about to start my first horror story..very exciting. I believe in fairy tale love...the kissing in the rain, staring at the stars on the rooftop kind of love..Why? Because I'm in that kind of love and its been the greatest time of my life. And it didn't come easy.

I come from the type of home where everyone seems okay and then when everyone leaves its chaos. My parents should have been divorced years ago and I can't stand to be around either of them so for now I'm going day by day, only coming home to sleep and counting down the days until I go to college in August.

how can i be hyper,outgoing,and funny? like this WHOLE summer,i want to make myself something in THIS town. i dont know how to though. like,no one wants to hang out.i have "SCHOOL" friends. i don't know why. i know i can change,im determined. is it a good way to get to know a lot of people by joining a activity? like,i was thinking, Drama,Volleyball,Photography and stuff like that for extras NEXT year. I'll be in 9th grade.Also,how do i learn how to play a sport,like soccer or cheerleading? i really follow my own path,but lately,no one seems to like me. im just a "quiet" person on the outside.i REALLY want to change that. get their screen names for aim and talk to them. if you don't have instant messenger then i suggest you get it. it would be a start to talking to people outside of school. talk about anything. in school ask them how their weekend was. only be hyper if you're at a party otherwise it can be annoying. i used to be really shy, like i would only talk to my friends and family. start off with one friend and they'll introduce you to other people. being outgoing is the key to talking to people. be friendly to everyone and other people will see that you're a cool person.

stretch every day. im not a cheerleader but i can almost do a split. sit on the floor and put one leg straight out in front of you and then bend the other one and pull it back as far as you can go so it just starts to hurt and hold it there for about 20second then switch legs. keep doing this everyday and really stretch your legs out. im not sure how long this will take you, it depends on how flexible you already are.

its not anything popping, its actually a ripping. its when the opening of your vagina rips from being stretched out so far for the first time. it could also be the ripping of the hymen but not all girls are born with a hymen.

today in science we had to watch the video of a mother giving birth, they showed everything and zoomed in and everything. it was so disgusting. before i wasn't nervous and i didnt think it was a big deal. at the begining it was boring and just showed how the baby grew in the stomach and stuff but then it got gross and showed the birth. i dont no why i freacked out but during it i got light headed and almost passed out it was so gross then afterwards i threw up in the girls bathroom. none of my friends or even any of the guys seemed to have as much of a problem of it as i did. now i cant get the images out of my head! is there something wrong with me or did i just freak out over nothing. help please! i know the exact movie you're talking about. it freaked me out a little, it made me not want kids as much but i got over that and now i still want kids. i know a girl who couldn't watch that part of the movie because she has a light stomach. if you start to think about it again just think of the science of it instead of a woman pushing a baby out of her. think more about the developmental part of it and how the baby used to look like a little martian. lol

lord and taylor(a little pricey), get the Seventeen magazine prom edition because they have like a thousand dresses in there and they tell you where to get them. i got mine from JC Penney but the guy i went with asked me late and it was my last resort. lord and taylor had some really nice dresses though, google them because im not positive what their website address is.

the key to making guy friends is that you can't be self concous(sp?). once you make one guy friend they'll usually introduce you to other guys so eventually you'll have alot of guy friends, just start focusing on one guy that you want to be friends with. don't be obsessive though. hope i helped

me and my boyfriend have been together for a long time and we are sexually active. we recently have stop doing it. last month we did it and before he would ejaculate he would take it out and ejaculate on my stamach. i got brown\ pinkish discharge but it was mostly blood (kind of heavy)and i have no idea what it is. could i have the chance of being pregnent? you're probably just getting your period but you should get it checked out. this happened to me one time but we used protection so i knew i wasn't pregnant. so yeah you're probably not pregnant

yeah he deffinately probably got a bonner or he just really had to go to the bathroom. if you are ok with him being "excited" around you then tell him when you are, it might make him less nervous about it.

so start with something like "i dont know where to begin but i guess ill just start with saying i like you alot...." don't seem obsessive with him, just tell him how you feel, if it makes it easier then say it on the phone. don't be shy because most guys that i talk to anyway, like it when a girl is outgoing.

i shave, all the guys that i talk to say they wouldn't touch a girl that didn't shave. some guys dont mind though, its up to you. and only let your boyfriend finger you if you want him too and are ready to go to that next step in your relationship.

Ive had my period for almost a year now and basically im sick of pads. They are soo annoying and I dont think they work very well. The problem is im afraid of tampons. Do they hurt? This is really embarrassing but Im afraid ill hurt myself and I dont know how to put them in. I looked at the instructions but they seem soo confusing. How do you without hurting yourself and I was wonderring which is better tampons or pads?

tampons are so much better than pads. the key to using them is that you have to relax if you want to use them. otherwise you'll be too tensed up and you wont be as loose. to put it in you push it in until you vaginal opening hits the ring on the aplicator, then you push the other tube to put the actual tampon in. it might feel weird the first few times you do it but after a while you'll get used to them and you wont feel them.

no there are deffinately less shallow guys out there. my guy friends have said to me that it doenst always matter how you look but it's more about your personality. they said that they like mature girls more than hot immature ones. because if you're immature, they wont see the beauty they'll only see the ugly personality. does that make sense? if you're looking for a boy friend then try to make some friends from other schools or maybe a grade higher than you, they'll be a little more mature.

the red one costs more because it dontates a portion of the money spent on it to a worldwide organization that helps fight aids in africa, so if you're one of those people that cares and wants to help out the world then buy the red one.

ok i installed the SIMS expansion pack for PC on my laptop, & i have all the system requirements. but when i put disc one in all it does is give me the option to play, visit the website etc. so i hit play, i've tried playing the sims creator, 800x600, &&&& 1024x768 & it wont get past the opening screen after that.

uninstall then reinstall. you might have to uninstall the entire sims series that is on your computer but first just uninstall the newest expansion

It's very possible I am snowboarding this weekend. I've gone skiing before, only twice, but I picked it up pretty well. Not skiing black diamonds yet, but I'm doing decently well on the intermediate slopes. I heard it was easier to learn how to ski before snowboarding so I hope that's true? But I think I will be getting a lesson from an instructor at the mountain for snowboarding... I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for someone who is new to this? Thanks! (link)

i took my friend snowboarding a few weekends ago. she had never been on skiis or a snowboard, we took a lesson together and by the end of the day she could make it down an intermediate hill without falling. snowboarding is alot of fun. skiing is easier to learn but snowboarding is easier to get better at. we're going back this weekend. don't give up, and listen to what the instructor tells you. wear loose but warm clothes because you have to bend alot, my friend wore a full body carhart suit...not good. so just some snowpants and a jacket is good, but dont layer up much. oh and never lean towards downhill, you will fall over and probably flip depending on how fast you're going, i learned what happens when you do very quickly
