if i were to download sims 2, what kind of file would i download and what should i beweare of and such?
If you were to download the sims 2, that would be illegal. Plus, even if you did you wouldn't have a working serial code to activate it, or a disk to put in to play the game with. It wouldn't work. Plus, the game is what, 20-30 dollars? COME ON!! I paid for it!

do what imperialistic said. But to avoid this problem later, go to www.getfirefox.com and download mozilla firefox. It's faster than internet explorer, better, and all you have to do to clear the info from EVERYTHING even like google and stuff, you just click tools>clear private data in firefox.

How do I get songs from my Itunes Library onto blank cd's? Can you give me a step by step explination? Thanks and I rate all 5's.
Make a new playlist, then drag the songs you want on the CD from your library to the playlist, then insert the CD, then while in the playlist, click in the upper right hand corner "burn CD".

that site has a converter that costs 30 bucks, but you can do the trial for free. (it only converts 20 files, though). This converter will do the job.Drag all the songs in your iTunes library to a new folder on your desktop, then in the converter click add, then select "convert song to mp3". Then just add all of the songs in the folder you created. This will allow the songs to work in Windows Media Player.

I recently lost my old computer to a virus with all my itunes music on it.
i still have my ipod with all the music.
is there anyway i can download itunes again then transfer the songs back to itunes from my ipod?
Yeah! This exact thing happened to me. I got so frustrated, because apple couldn't do anything. But here's what you do. just plug your iPod into your computer, then go into "my computer". Click on your ipod. click tools, then folder options. once in that window click the "view" tab. then click "show hidden folder" then click apply, and okay. then you will see a folder that says ipod control. go into that folder then go into music. you will see a lot of different folders. go into all of them and drag the files inside onto your desktop. the files will be named things like "ASDF" but once they're in iTunes they will have their correct names. To put them into iTunes, drag the files on your desktop into a new folder on your desktop that you can name like music, or whatever. (to create a new folder right click your desktop then click new, then folder). Then open iTunes. Then open the folder, and select all of the music. Then drag it all into iTunes.

thanx again, yeah i have already gone through 2 ipods, so i dont really wanna go back there, and i have checked out those creative ones, i think there realy cool, but the only problem is is that i have to much music to redownload it (like 3000 songs and i do already have it all on cd) i herd that there was a program that can change itunes files to mp3s and others, do you know anything about it, or how/ where i could get it?
Yeah, it's probably a good idea to just convert the songs. However, (and i'm not sure about this) there is another option. Although the creative players will hold 15000 songs, they will only hold around 7500 of the iTunes format. I think it's possible to put the iTunes format songs on the player. Just select all of the songs in iTunes, and drag them into a new folder you create on your desktop called music, or whatever. (to create a folder just right click your desktop and click new, then folder). Then once you have the player just plug it into your computer, then go into my computer, and go into your music player by double clicking it. Then drag the folder of music into that window. This should work, but if not leave me another inbox, and I'll think of something else.

Well, sorry my friend Jon about them playing "strip hide-and-go-seek" with you....if it was you i talked to on aim....but they know what the goodness is, not me. I assume it means blonde hair, but I have no idea lol. They just keep bugging me and saying they love the goodness. Just photoshop a pic of you to have blonde hair, and send it to them lol. Better yet, ask my friend assuager what the goodness is. He has black hair and they say he has it too.

Alright.. My computer like shuts down after like every half an hour.. so i'll leave it alone for a little and then i'll go back on it and hten it shuts down again and again andddd again! its so annoying.. and i have a wicked nice computer.. does anyone know how i can fix it without spending 43897598476 dollars?

Yeah a recovery disk could work...but perhaps it's just something in your settings. Maybe the computer is set to turn off every half hour. If not, it's cheap to get whatever company made your computer send a recovery disk to you.

i have written twenty something songs and believe they are actually really good and i love singing, playing guitar & piano... so i'm just wondering what are some ways i could record my music onto a cd that isn't extremely expensive and doesn't involve a recording studio and also what are some good ways to get my music discovered since i want to sing?
You need to be willing to spend around 4-5 hundred dollars to get a good quality sound recording. Otherwise you can buy a mic (good quality ones by logitech cost around 40 bucks), then purchase Quicktime Pro for 30 bucks from apple.com. This program allows for audio recordings. Or you can download a program called "audacity" which is free, but not quite as good.

when i puchased my song on iTunes,it isnt in my song bank for my iPod,did i do somthing wrong?what do i do now that its on iTunes and not my iPod?

Once it is in your iTunes library, you need to plug your iPod into the computer, then drag the song to your iPod. This means once your iPod is hooked up to the computer the icon of an iPod appears in the left hand column of the screen. Just hold down click the song and drag it over to that icon of an iPod.
Or you could do this:
Open iTunes, then click edit, then preferences, then iPod (your iPod has to be plugged in), then check the box that says "update songs automatically". This means whenever you plug in your iPod it automatically matches your library. This means the new songs go in, and any songs on the iPod that arent in the library go away on the iPod too.

Today the LCD screen for my iPod mini broke.
I don't know how it did, I put it down next to me to get a book out and the next moment I looked, the screen was cracked and broken, making the screen useless and make it near impossible to choose what I wanted to do with the iPod.
I called Apple technical support and they said nothing can be done. The lady suggested googling for third party resources to help fix the screen, so I did and got a few good results.
However, the price is something I need to take into consideration. I found the prices varied from as high as $150 to as low as $95.
My question though, is if anyone has expierenced a similiar problem with iPod LCD screens and has gotten the replacement for it via third party resources. If so, can anyone give me any websites that have low prices for replacement screens and installation of those new screens? Perhaps I overlooked something, but I was wondering if anyone had any websites that are secure and cheap in replacing LCD screens for iPod mini's.

Well, I havent been to any sites to replace the screen for my iPod, but it's only about 150 to buy a whole new iPod. Not like a video iPod, but go to amazon.com and search for iPods and you can find brand new 20 GB iPods (not color screen though) for 150 bucks.

Well, activex control isn't anything more than software similiar to a java applet. Look at this website:

Since it's not a necessary program, you should be able to remove it without risk. I am not a proffestinal on the subject though so doing a little more research before removing a vital program could help. But an easy way to tell how important the program is is to read waht it says when you click on it in the add/remove programs section of the control panel. If it says the program is used often, you may not want to remove it. If it says it is used occasionally or rarely, it's unimportant.
