My name is alix. Ok well yes i am having somewhat of a period problem deliema; ok well when i have my period i get these giant blood clots and they smell kinda weird is this normal??? I mean i got my period last year but now it is happening for the first time this month and i am really worried and i do not know if i should see a doctor or even tell my mother.... well please what should i do and what is wrong with me why am i having these blood clots???

I don't think it's too much to worry about. The clots are normal, and people have bad smelling periods- thats why they make scented tampons &pads. But if it scares you, maybe you should mention it to your mother.
What dress should I wear? Simple and thin or poofy and girly? Because I always dress like a nerd for school but I'm really pretty so I guess a simple and thin dress would be good since it would show off my curves but I like being girl for the poofy dress! I'm really skinney and have dark hair by the way. Any suggested colours too? My friend suggested thin but I'm not sure because she's wearing thin and probably she doesnt' want me to wear the same dress. I know that's mean but in the girl world its harsh
You should go with something thin. Try a halter dress made of a silky material. Also, darker hair would look great in a red dress.

my best friend who i have gotten to kno this school year. has been geting into alot of trouble with her pranets lately and is now sexually active. she barely hangs out wit us at school cuz she is too busy making out with difrernt boys and we don't ever go out to like the movies cuz she is having sex with them (diferent boi per night)..my friends n i are debating if we should tel her off that she is a bad influence and our true feelings towards her but we don't know if thaT would be right to do...we are confused..help us out.
I think you should just grow apart from her. You don't seem too interested in her, and she doesn't seem too interested in you, so just let it go. Talk to her on occasion, but keep it light. You know how there are some people who you talk to, but not enough to actually call them friends? Treat her like one of them. If she confronts you, tell her that you have different interests. Also, tell her how you don't really like how she's acting, so you don't want to be that great friends with her anymore.
Do people define others upon their social status more so in middle school or high school? I know that there are so many more kids where i am going to go to high school next year, so wouldn't it be difficult to get to know everyone? thanks =]
I found that social status mattered so much more in middle school. I think that, by the time I was in high school, everyone was bored of being cliquey, and judging others. Granted, it still happens, but we all got bored of caring. Plus, you start to socialize with more people, so social status doesn't matter that much, because you have a lot of friends who may or may not be of the same status. Middle School was so much worse with all that.
This weekend, we are having a dance at my school! (14/f, freshman!) Anyways, I just moved to my new school, and I'm pretty popular now. Except, at my old school, I had a sort of "prude" image, so I never kissed a guy before! So my high school dances are pretty naaasty from what I've heard (grinding...making out!) and I know a hot sophomore that wants to hook up with me!! So my question is, (I know how to grind and all - I'm good at it too!) but while grinding, how can I just start making out with someone? Like is there a "signal" or something like that??? Also, what do you do with your arms while grinding - they feel awkward just being in the air!

If you're facing eachother, then you can just hook up with him whenever he leans in. He will, because he wants to hook up with you. Also, if thats the case, you can put your arms around him.
If youre not facing him, then you probably wont hook up while your grinding. You might, but if you do it could be an awkward position. He'll probably take you over to a corner or whatever. And grinding away from him, then you can put your hands on your upper thighs or up kindof in your hair.

Go for the new guy. Matt might be a great guy, but you two can't really talk. Imagine going out with him, and still having that awkwardness between you. The other guy seems perfect. I always make sure that I like a guy as a friend too before I go out with him, because I didn't use to do this and all of my relationships were the most awkward things ever.

So there's this guy "tyler" who likes me. I mean REALLY likes me. Now tyler is not the best-looking guy in the world, but he's amazigly nice. He has asked me out a few times, but I've always said no. There are just some things I cannot stand about him, like that he is really into drugs, he's practiclly an alcoholic, and again he's not the best-looking guy in the world. Since we live really far away, we usually talk online, and we've become really good friends this way. When I see him in person, though, I keep thinking about his faults and I can never see myself with him, though I can when we talk online. Because of this, I've come to think that I'm being very shallow about this whole situation...but then I think would I really be happy with him and say I would not so therefore I am not being shallow. It's been bothering me for like forever, so please, what should I do about this whole thing, and am I shallow?

You're not being shallow. Maybe the whole looks thing is, but remind yourself that he's into drugs and alcohol, and it wouldn't be good for you to accept.
Heyy! IM 13 and im pretty much the popular girl in school. (not to be consided!) And my friends are popular too. we have like Cliques inside our clique. Like theres one big one.(the popularss) and then inside that clique even though we all sit together at lunch and partyyy together its like split in two and im on the more popular side and out of all the five girls on my side there all taken but me! And one kid did like me but we was kinda weird and idk. This summer i am going on a school trip with all my friends. There is going to be a pool at the hotel we are staying at and we are very excited to be going swimming. The problem is is that a lot of guys are going and other girls and all the girls have boobs and they will be looking good in their bathing suits and the problem is is that i dont have any and i dont want all the guys to be looking and lauging at me. There's this boy. I've liked him for about three years now. He liked me when I first started liking him, but I was too stupid to do anything about it.
Now that I think about it, he's always been the one in the back of my mind. And lately, I can't stop thinking about him.
I even had this dream that he was going out with this girl (who I hate, by the way) and I was completely jealous. Also, if his name even comes up in a conversation that a girl is having, I get extremely jealous. He's not even my boyfriend.
What does this mean and why am I constantly thinking about him? And what can I do to either a) get him off of my mind, or b) work up the nerve to tell him how I feel?

But what you have to do is show him that you like him. First, jsut be friendly. then, send him some hints. But less like flirty ones, because you really want him to know that youre serious.

I'm trying to go on this student travel thing, it is for high schoolers, you go to a different country and do community service for a month over the summer. I need two teacher recomendations.
i'm going to ask my advisor, but i need someone else. I really want to ask my english teacher, she is awesome, she is my favorite teacher. but... I do very well in that class, i'm a good writer, but one of the questions that she would have to answer on the reccomendation sheet is the students mood, social-ness. And a lot of times I come into that class kind of quiet and i look sad. Partly it's at the end of the day, also i'm going through a lot of stuff so i'm not always in a good mood, and also i don't raelly realize i look sad even though i do, i don't notice that i'm smiling. she even commented on it a few days, shes like "you always come in to class like the world is about to end." i think she thinks i'm a good student and everything, but i'm worried about that question. should i ask another teacher that i don't like much, ask her, or ask her and be like "I know you think i'm never happy looking! but really, I am, it just doesn't seem like it sometimes, and I really to like this class and I'm worried about what you'll write, but i wanted to come to you anyway because you're my favorite teacher" ?????? so what should i do, i really want to do this student travel program!
Photocopy whatever it is that she has to fill out, and if youre not satisfied with what she wrote, ask another teacher to do it.
and two things:
1. Your teacher probably likes you because youre such a good student, so she probably wants you to go. A lot of teachers would just say that you were a generally happy person and all.
2. The recommendation does matter, I'm not going to say that it doesn't. But if there's just one thing that says that you sometimes seem a tad upset, it might not affect whether or not you get accepted if everything else is really good.

my hair is always frizzy and and it used to stay straight but not it gets all wavy.
i got it highlighted a few times and the person that did it wasn't to great. is that maybe why my hair looks like not good anymore?

It very well might. Highlighting was probably what made it frizzy, but not necessarily. I'd invest in a good shampoo and conditioner, and keep the ends very well conditioned, and stay away from highlighting. It shoulddd go back to normal.

Not because it's heavier, but it could still be shorter than somepeoples. The heaviness doesn't affect it.

Start really slowly, and gently. When the time seems perfect, just lean in and kiss him. See how he's reacting. If he's into it, then keep going. But if he's not, pull away. If he's into it, you can slowly open his mouth, and yours, and just keep going slowly, maybe building up the pace. But you have to be really careful not to scare him.
