I've been through a lot of things, and I'm only 14. Some people think I have the perfect life but in reality, I DO have a lot of problems...
I've had people who passed away, crying all the time, people have told me to kill myself (sluts), I have seen people talk about suicide...I know some people who tried killing themselves, so many things that I'd rather not discuss that are pretty horrible, and a lot of other things now that are on my mind...good and bad and...*cough* puberty too...=(
Oh and I also believe in psychics, spirits (only good) and I'm a Christian Catholic.

I'm not saying this because this isn't a dating service, but you as his (I assume) OLDER SISTER, somebody could end up molesting a little boy like that...and I doubt there are going to be many 11 year old girls who are sweet nice girls who live in Boca Raton, Florida.
We don't even know if you're making this up! And now I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I don't want to risk a little boy getting hurt...or if you're really a stalker (NOT SAYING THAT YOU ARE) I son't want to be the cause for anybody getting stalked, hurt, raped, abused or molested.

That's how it used to be at my old school. People go out with eachother just to have a boyfriend or girlfriend. Why would you go out with someone who doensn't talk to you. That really doesn't vount as having a boyfriend. If you are too shy to go up and talk to him and he's not talking to you...then DON'T GO OUT WITH THE KID.
What grade are you in?
You seriously need to talk this out with him (and if you feel you can't) then obviously you both aren't meant to be a couple because you guys can't even go up to each other and talk things out with each other.
I'm sorry, but that is STUPID.
Just because your friend says you two make a good couple doesn't mean it's meant to be. If you guys aren't even talking to each other, then you're just wasting your time so dump him and find somebody who will actually AT LEAST act like friends with you if they aren't ready to kiss or whatever yet.

Trichotillomania, a disorder where one pulls out their hair. I havent officially been told that i have it. But i also have never admitted to anyone besides my mom, dad and sister that i have a problem. It started when i was in elementry when i knotted up my bangs and tore away the knots. Now i just pull and pull, usually during class sometimes when im online, just when im bored. Trich is not about self injury, its something someone notices they do or they can do it without being aware. I pull my hair without the knowledge that im doing it. Its a very hard thing to deal with, its more of hiding it untill the hair grows back in the balding spots. I feel so ashamed that im not good enough to get over it, ive read that people go through their whole lives with it, i worry, i dont want to be plaqued with this curse for my whole life.
My habit seemed to have died when school started up this year but then recently it returned. It began all in one class period. I must have sat there the whole class and pulled and pulled untill the hair was very thin on one side. When it comes back it gets worse, because my self esteem becomes very low and that doesnt help the stress, if thats what triggers it.
I am considering going to a counsellor, but im not sure. I dont know anything about if they put that kind of stuff on a record when you want to join a college or get a job. If so will they turn you down because you have a disorder? Will they put me on anti-depressants? I dont want to be put on meds, i just want someone to talk to, maybe even ways to prevent doing it. Any help on how to prevent me pulling my hair out and what happens when you confront a counsellor about a disorder would being very nice. (link)

Oh my gosh! I had the SAME problem...only mine wasn't AS bad...I would just twirl my hair and pull at it and then it would become thinner on one side. It is embarassing...I always ask my family if it's sticking up.
I have to put barretts in my hair because I wold pull at my hair. It's not noticable or anything for me because I didn't have it bad...and it grew back; it wasn't like HUGE bald spots for me...but I didn't really realize what I was doing as I was doing it. I knew I was pulling at my hair, but for some reason I just couldn't stop.
I had it once in probably 5th/6th grade and then at the end of 7th grade. I was so ashamed because I thought that it would be VERY noticable (but I would style my hair a different way so its not sticking up) and you could ask ANYBODY who knows me...I'm constantly staring in the mirror because of it. I don't wear my hair down because it still shows a little bit (but it's not a bald spot for me) it's just sort of un-even on top. I always wear gel and hairspray to hide it.
If you ever have the urge to rip at your hair, focus on something else. YOU HAVE TO! Because if you don't stop doing this it will eventually stop growing in that place. (Just like when you pluck your eyebrows).
Just leave it alone starting today...it's not a great habit to pick up AT ALL. It makes you very self-concience, but I'm not all that embarrassed to talk about it. You DO NOT have to go to couseling...this habit is east to give up. It seems hard at first, but just wear hats when you go out with friends or something (to hide it if you want) and the hat will also PREVENT you from pulling at your hair. Also...little braids help too (if that's your idea of a hair style that fits you)...and I find that really TIGHT ponytails or buns with gel on the top of your head works. (but I don't know if that's only for me.

How can I get the entire United States to convert over to the metric system? I know this person who has really annoying habits on the internet. There are no periods, so it takes forever to try to understand her, and she uses numbers in the middle of words(c u l8er, g2g, etc) . It wouldn't really bother me too much except she goes on forever, and she can't spell. She also capitalizes random words and uses ... or ! after every other word. What can I do to tell her that is annoying me? She is one of my closest friends, but it is driving me crazy! (link)

JUst tell your friend the truth. I know it seems like it will hurt her feelings, but it's really not that big of a deal. Say...seriously, I can't understand you online. (and then just laugh about it so it lightens the mood)
If she STILL talks like that after you said that, then just tell her that you don't understand what she means (when she says something like that).

Yes...if you don't you're going to miss out on a GREAT opportunity. You don't know if you are going to get last place, and don't sweat it if you do. It's no big thing. Seriously...just try it out. If eventually you find that it's not your thing, then move onto another hobby - but don't back out of this because you're scared of losing or because you're scared of what people will think of you.

my sister and I went to the swimming pool and when we got back she was like 'I WAN In tHE SHOWER FIRST!!!" so I let her take a shower first, and while she was in there I didn't know what to do then I remembered I hadn't played the piano for a while. so I sat down and played the piano. but I was still wet and had my swimsuit on. so I get up and on the piano bench, which is wood, there's this raised warped part where it's kinda lighter color and it's EXACTLY the shape of my BUTT and you can see where my thighs were and everything! I tried to dry it but it won't go away. I'm really freaking out because my mom will be home in a few hours and I don't know what to do! (link)

There's nothing YOU CAN do. Unless she's an adult, then she could make the choice herself to stay. But there's nothing that can be done much about these situations. It depends on the circumstances...such as, your best friend's age, and things like that. This is a tough one.

Show her you're responsible by becoming a babysitter (if yo're old enough).
Also do chores around the house without being told, and don't talk back to you're mother (if you do). When you get home do your homework, and clean your room.
I know these things have NOTHING to do with pets, but it's a way to show your mom you're responsible. (The babysitting is DEFINITELY a pLuS).

There's nothing you CAN do. Take care of your rabbit. There's nothing you can do about it. I LOVE RABBITS. They are so cute, and if I were you, I wouldn't neglect it (because by the way you asked this question it seems like you do).
Love your rabbit...it's life probably isn't so great...so just take it out, let it hop around, pet it, and take care of it...THEN YOU'LL GET YOUR DOGGY!

With some people you can't tell if they like you. Sometimes they are attracted to more than one person. If they flirt with you to an extreme, maybe they DO like you...this is a very confusing situation unless you're in it. Sometimes you just know if somebody likes you. Other times they give you confusing signs or "hints" that make you wonder if they do like you or not...
Sometimes they are just really shy...or they go up to you right away and ask you out. There's not always a way to tell...
I'm sorry if this didn't help you at all...but this is a very confusion situation.

My husband and I are in a dissagreement about this one. I think that there are a lot of phonies out there passing themselves off as psychics, but that are actually a few that are for real. But I don't know which ones. My husband thinks all psychics are phonies, and nobody could possibly have these abilities. He is very cynical and closed-minded, in my opinion, but he thinks I am gulible. I was watching this talk show the other day with psychic Sylvia Browne, and she was picking people out of the audience and describing their dead relatives and friends, and even explaining things about them that she couldn't possibly know. I saw people nodding their heads, and looking amazed and relieved to finally know what happened to their loved ones. Are all these people paid actors? I belive it was the Montel Williams show. He seems pretty decent out of all the talk show hosts, and they seemed like just regular people. They gave her very little info to go on. If this is fake, how is it done? If anybody has had an experience with a psychic, please tell me about it. Thanks! (link)

You want to know how this is done?? I guess Sylvia Brown is just like John Edwards. (and I'm just going to assume you know who he is).
Now, I am a STRONG believer in psychics and abilities like telekinesis, telepathy, and empathy, etc....but I am really NOT SURE about John Edwards. I believe he has a power like that, but I believe he's abusing that ability he has when he's is front of an audience. I think he may really be able to talk to those who have crossed over, but in front of a crowd I believe he's a fake. (Does that make any sense at all?).
I've heard that he walks around the audience saying "Someone has a grandmother who passed", and when he says that, it's just obvious that somebody in that room has a grandmother who passed. So then when the person raises his/her hand, and he works from there. (I have no clue if this is making sense)...but in my opinion, he's just a fake on the t.v. screen (but maybe it's different when he's off screen).
You know we hardly use half of our brain, right?...and the side of our brain that we use IAN'T EVEN THE GOOD SIDE! There has to be a use for that other side, which is why I strongly believe in phychics.
And what about God (I'm sorry for those of you who aren't religious) He created the earth, the world, animals and mankind. Think about it, that's paranormal, and it's true. (well at least A LOT of people think it is).
Also, ghosts (spirits). Now this is a tough one, not many people believe in ghosts, but they're paranormal, and if people are able to come back from the dead as spirits, then why isn't there such a thing as psychics (at least that's what many people think).
I know I'm jumping way ahead of myself here when it comes to everything I was talking about...but I just wanted to give you some different outlooks on it.
Bottom line though: I BELIEVE IN PSYCHICS...I've never had an experience though, but I'm learning telekinesis now (I dont know if you believe in that though).
