Hello. I LOVE photography, and I wanted to start taking pictures of my own. I was just wondering, what kind of cameras (if you take pictures) do you use? Or does anyone know of any cameras used for photography? Id appriciate it very much! Thank you.
If you're really serious about photography, check out the Canon Digital Rebel series. I just got the 10 megapixel XTi. It's pricey but worth it. They're digital SLRs- perfect for professional photography. They produce outstanding shots. I love mine. I'm hooked on Canon SLRs for right now, but Nikon is also a great camera company with a great line of SLRs. I'd definitely recommend an SLR over anything else.

It kind of depends on how the person handles it. Some people get really jittery or paranoid. Some people act retarded. Some people can't stop laughing at bizarre crap. Some people act like they normally do.

Just out of curiousity, is it considered wrong to wear a bikini at a public pool or beach if you are pregnant?
It seems kind of weird to me. I mean, you don't have to wear long sleeves or anything, but it is kind of weird to see a pregnant woman walking around in a string bikini. That's just my opinion though.

It's a long shot, but I've seen Free People stuff at TJ Maxx and Ross before for pretty cheap. You might want to look there just in case.

A girl from my school and her boyfriend just died in a car wreck. They were 16 and 17. For some reason, though I didn't know them personally, this really makes me sad. I did know one of her best friends though, so I just sent a little "I'm sorry" to her through email. I'm sure she already has a lot of those. There was also a bulletin posted in her memory asking everyone to re-post it and ave a moment of silence for her. I didn't feel like reposting it, but a lot of people did. Well, I got a reply from my "I'm sorry". The friend got really mad at me and said I didn't even know this girl and everyone should stop acting like they did. Now, I know she must be going through a lot of pain, but is really that bad for me to say I was sorry? She also posted a bulletin on myspace this morning about how no one knew the girl like she did and everyone should stop pretending like they cared. I really don't want to start something, and I know what she's going through (I've had family deaths and severe injuries related to car accidents), but this is sounding a little rude to me. I mean, if I were to die, or a friend were to die, I would want people to care. Please help me understand, why in the world this girl is hating everyone for caring?
The only answer is that some people go through grief differently. You know in your heart that you meant well, and this girl is just having trouble accepting what has happened. Don't let her make you feel bad for giving her support.
Almost two years ago, a girl that was in my group of friends died. At her funeral, there was a chick who wanted to sing. So this girl gets up in a glittery, inappropriate cocktail waitress outfit and completely makes a show out of it. It was disrespectful, but nobody said anything. Then, at the one year memorial, she did the exact same thing, and nobody said anything to her. I'm still not sure if that's just her way of showing grief (because she didn't really know my friend that died), but it's anyone's place to judge the way she acts in a time of tragedy.
So the moral of this story is that you just have to grin and bear it. The girl that you emailed is making a fool of herself, just like the girl that sang did. But if you say anything, then people will consider you the rude one. It's a hard situation, but the girl you're talking about is going to get over her hate eventually (even if it's not for a long time) and be grateful that people reached out to support her.
I think her problem is that she's grieving and doesn't want to have to deal with all the attention at the same time. Regardless, you did nothing wrong and you shouldn't have been treated like that- but you'll just have to grin and bear it. She's grieving in her own way, which is fine, but allow her to do so.

i have a sevier acne problem can any one help me i already use proactive 2 times a day and its not helping
Here are my suggestions to clear up your face:
1. Drink water ONLY. No soft drinks or sugary Gatorade. Also, milk might trigger acne. It depends on what your diet is like.
2. If you eat a lot of junk food, cut back on it.
3. Try not to touch your face with your hands throughout the day.
4. Some people like to drink green tea to detox. If you're willing to try it, I'd recommend brewing your own as opposed to buying the bottled Lipton kind. The bottled stuff has added sugar.
5. TOOTHPASTE. This sounds weird, but it works. At night, rub toothpaste on your acne. I mean, really get into it. After a few minutes wash it off. It dries out acne and reduces redness overnight. You're not supposed to do this very often, but it works, so what the hell.
6. Try smashing one tablet of aspirin in a small bowl, then adding lemon juice to the mixture. Apply it to your face overnight.
7. Stress causes acne. Try to get enough sleep.
8. Start using moisturizer on your face, even if your face is oily. The reason your face may be oily is because when you wash it twice a day it strips the oils from your skin, so your skin gets confused and produces it tenfold. So after you wash your face, use a moisturizer so you don't flake out everywhere. Especially if you are going to use the toothpaste on your face often.
9. Avoid using a wash rag on your face.
10. Go see a dermatologist if you can. If your acne is bad, medication will help. Here are some medicines I've had work for me... Differin, Evoclin, Retin-A, and Duac.

do they sell plane tickets to minors under the age of 18? if they do do you have to have your paretns permission or their ID with you? and wud i need an ID to buy the ticket?

and do you have to have a passport jsut for going somewhere lets say you live in texas and you want to go to florida wud you need a passport for that?
Do they sell plane tickets to minors? Yes, as long as you have a credit card (if you're booking online). You don't have to have parents' permission to buy the actual ticket online, and you just show your ID (which can be a driver's license) at the airport when you check in for your flight.
You need to buy it ahead of time unless it's a last minute emergency or something. Chances are, if you wait, your flight will be booked. No, you don't need to have a passport if you're staying in the same country, but if you're traveling alone you will most likely need an ID. This can be a driver's license, school student ID, or even birth certificate/social security card.
Since you're 16 you shouldn't have a problem with getting a boarding pass and traveling alone.

You'll have to check with your airline, but many places offer a money order option. I'm not exactly sure how that works, and if you call the airline you may be able to send them a check or something. Here's what I would do. If your parents have a credit card you could use, you could pay them with cash. If they're okay with it. Or, if you can get a friend/relative with a credit or debit card to help you out, that would work too.
okay, so im on my period. and when i go to sleep i sleep on my side, because if i sleep on my back the blood from my period leaks onto the back of my pants. but when i stand up in the mornings, i feel this HUGE clot like drop from my vagina.

Yeah, as gross as it feels, it's normal. Sometimes when I don't have much time to sleep, like if I'm up late for school and I have to get up at six the next morning, I'll use a tampon at night. Then it's not as gross and you can sleep on your back. Some people think sleeping with a tampon in is dangerous because of TSS, but it's not a problem if you're just going to wake up in four hours anyway. Haha.
I want a good and fast camera that is easy to use. I have a camera and it takes forever to turn on and when I want to takea picture at one given moment, it takes forever for it to load and then I miss what I wanted to take. Also it sucks out the batteries like no other. It doesn't last long and I hate it. Does anyone know a good quality camera that fits my needs and is at a good price range? I prefer Kodak but I don't mind finding a new brand. Thanks!
Hey there. For me, the problem with Kodak is that they don't really update the technology of their cameras. Sure, they have some high megapixel cameras, but nothing like Canon or Nikon.
Many of my friends have Casio Exilims. I've played with Nikons and Canons both, and it's just a matter of preference. To me, Sony is pretty overpriced- the Cybershot commercials are cool, but the Sony accessories are expensive.
My best advice is for you to go to Best Buy or somewhere like it and play with the point-and-shoot cameras in the store.

I just got a new camera, which I LOVE, but from what you've said it's not in your price range. Mine is a Canon XTi Digital Rebel. The only downfall is that it's so big. My sister had one too, but she got so tired of it that she recently bought a Nikon point-and-shoot. I can't remember what model it is (and I don't live with her) but I think it was around $200.

Well, you don't have to tell your parents that you make out with him for hours, but I think it would be smart to tell them that you do have a boyfriend. Because you don't want them to be surprised when you go on dates or whatever. You didn't say your age in the question, so I'm assuming you're not 9 or anything, but make them think that it's just a cute little crush and surely they won't get mad or anything (unless you have an arranged marriage, which is also unlikely).

I've started a new healthy lifestyle. I'm eating VERY healthily, like I eat a lot of salads and non fat meats alongside them, as well as other healthy dishes.
I'm about to join this thing that's like a gym, but not exactly one. It only has fitness equipment, and not body building equipment and they hand you a 30 minute plan for everytime you go to lose weight. I will be going twice a week, but when I become more fit work up to 3 or 4 times a week.
Anyway my question is, do you think over the duration of a year I will become a healthy weight? I'm not exactly obese, but I'm very chubby and a size away of what's classified as overweight. I'm not looking to instantly drop weight because that's ridiculous, or become toned and sexy.
I'm just asking if you think over a year I can become a healthy weight.
That sounds like a great plan and a great outlook. I'm sure that if you stick with it you'll get results within a few weeks. Even if it's not stunning physical results at first, you're going to feel so much better about yourself mentally if you stick with it. Good luck!
how can you give advice if you're not open-minded? i see a lot of answers on this site saying negative things towards certain religions and sexual orientations. and lots of labeling (preps, emos, etc).
i think that if you're going to try to help someone, you need to accept what they have to say and answer respectfully. am i the only one who feels this way?
I agree with you. I think part of the problem is that closed-minded people don't realize how closed-minded they are because it's all they've ever known. Maybe if we'd all try to respect each other and just listen to other people once in a while, the world would be a better place.

No, it doesn't. I've found that I generally have more energy all the time if I exercise regularly though (even something like Dance Dance Revolution). I definitely wouldn't try to drink Red Bull and then go exercise... that might provoke a heart attack or something, who knows.

It turns the bad guys off because they know they can't get into your pants. But if you meet a good guy, he will respect you for it. The guys that are turned off by it would not be good for you anyway, so consider your ring a very handy thing if it keeps them away :)
My friends and I are training for Cross Country. We do 45 minute runs, and of course that gets kind of boring, and it drags on forever.
The other day we played some games and it made the time FLY. We went through the alphabet and named movies that start with each letter, and we did a "I'm going on a picnic and I am bringing..." memory game.
Does anyone know any other games like that that we could play on our run that would make it less boring. I spy was kind of hard, and we tried the one where we say a word and we have to say the first thing that comes to mind. Those were no fun.

Okay so I've known this guy for mostly all my life around 13 years. Well within the past year we became really close, like bestfriends. People thought we were dating because we were always together and the way we acted around each other. Well here's where it kind of gets tough. I'm not going to lie, I've had feelings for him before, but he didn't have any feelings back. Which obviously bugged me but that didnt bother our relationship. So it's been about 8 months since i stopped having feelings for him. But its difficult. Because i cant tell if i still have feelings for him anymore. Could i have been in love with him? I mean i liked him for a long time.
I can never tell whether or not i like him, but then when people ask i just say i dont know. He knew i liked him, but wasnt going to let that get in the way of things. How do you tell whether you still have feelings for someone, or whether you love someone? please dont tell me to talk to him, because he's not the type to just talk about this openly, he actually hates it. Our friendship kind of fell apart, and now all my friends think i should dump him as a friend. i dont even know if i have feelings for him, how can i dump him as a friend? ugh im confused, how do you know if you have feelings for someone who you thought you were over? How do you know your in love with someone? please help.
I have a situation similar to yours. When you have a guy best friend, there's always going to be some level of attraction. There's nothing you can do to help that. But you have to ask yourself... would you rather keep him as a best friend forever, or chance it, confess your feelings, and then risk losing him? I chose to keep mine as a best friend. Honestly, I feel like I still do have feelings for my best friend. Just don't dump him as a friend, whatever you do.
Do whatever you can to strengthen your friendship, without making him think that you're hitting on him. Truthfully I think he probably has feelings for you too and doesn't want to screw up the friendship.
I don't think you're in love with him necessarily, but it's pretty obvious that you do have a strong bond with him. Maybe you should try to focus that bond on being a best friend bond, not a romantic one. I have no doubt that you love him, but is it a romantic love or a brother/sister love?
