Hi.. I dont really know where to start but first off i cut myself... and i do it beacasue my life is so hard.. Many of my family members have died and in January 5th my friend Joe died and he was really specail to me .. and so i took out the blade.. and i started cutting.. and i have lied about me cutting myslef but if i told my mom she would kill me ... most of the time her and i get along but some times we have issues and she yells at me sometimes and it gets me all fired up jus wanting to cry .. and then i have an older brother ((15)) and he hits me sometimes.. and he annoys the crap out of me and that fires me up 2 .. and then i have a little brother ((6)) and he does everyhting in his power to annoy me .. lik for instance hell make faces at me and make nasty commments about me lik how much he hates me and i cant take it anymore.. and so i bring out the siccors and i cut myself.. Now i go to this Christain Youth Center and we talk about god and isssues and just things that come to mind.. and the lady incharge i talk to her about me life and how i feel and i tell her that i cut myself and last week we all got into a discussion about anything we wnated to talk about and then someone starts to talk about Depression and then it gets deeper into cuttin yourself.. and im just sitting there thinkin .. y is she talkin about this ... and it hurts me bad to hear this women say that its stupid to do it and its not right to take it out on myslef.. and so im wondering if i can really talk to her about my life anymore.. but im askin if i should continue doin this if it makes me feel better (( maybe not inside)) but i cant talk to my mom 4 certain reasons so imaskin you people....

Recently, I've thought about trying to learn the guitar. I don't really know anything about guitars but I also play the clarinet. Does knowing how to read that kind of music help in reading guitar music? And is it really hard to learn it when first starting out? (link)

if you read sheet music, it should be easy for classical stuff, but for reading tabs its even easier, its just what number fret on which string, its incredibly easy, the only thing youll need to work on is speed.

do you know about notes? as in A-G#? The E would change it a D#, and so on, but if you dont know that....
start off with the high E (the thinnest string)tune it down so that the 6th fret on the B string is equal to an open E and drop the rest of the strings 1 fret all the way up.

you cant just burn them on limewire, or atleast the version i had. if you have windows media player or iTunes though, you can move your songs there and they can burn.

so I was thinking that it might be nice to have a better amp than my current one. I really need it to be versatile - able to use it for bass and 6-string. I'm wondering if I'd be better off looking at used head/cabinet systems, or if I sould look at small, portable new units, like a Hartke. I'll rate 7s for all answers. (link)

well, it could be damaging to your amp if you use a bass in a guitar amp, and the other way around, but i recommend Line 6 Spiders, theyre really nice.

ok, do you know how to relative tune? meaning the 5th fret on the E string is equal to the open A string? tune it down so everything is a fret higher than it normally is, meaning 6th fret for all except g should be 5th fret. hope that made sense
you should take lessons, ive played for over 2 years and started taking them a few weeks ago, they help a lot, i wouldnt have known if it werent for them.

I have a huge problem..im only 13 and weigh 98 pounds but i love to eat!! When i get home from school i eat like a bag of popcorn, some chips, and a salad just to make myself feel better. I excercise but not like a TON. and im healthy ..so whats wrong? I eat breakfast, then a snack, lunch, then a snack and dinner, then dessert. But, when im bored or sad - i eat. even if im not hungry..how do i stop this eating problem ?? =/ (link)

13/f I've been playing th epiano for 4 years, i have to admit, I'm gettin pretty good at it, but I HATE IT!!!!!!! I've hated it since maybe 2 years ago, but my parents always say: "oh, your getting better" or "the piano teacher will be so upset if you quit". But now, I've just about had it, and my parents are like; give it a chance, one more lesson, but when they do that they'll tell the teacher i wanna quit, and he gets all nice and easy....ugh I HATE IT.
I've always been interested in the drums or guitar....something not very easy, but new to learn. If I do quit though, this'll be a load to drop on my parents [they're the sort of classical, act professional, ivy-league-for-you parents, plus I'd have to get the instruments somewhere!!!!
I just asked my parents a minute ago to quit, and they got all "stop being a teenager....ugh" and "one more lesson" how can I FIRMLY tell them I want to quit, without all this other crap coming up? And how hard is it to play the drums? either question, I'LL LOVE YOU IF YOU ANSWER IT!! (link)

just tell them you are a teacher and if they make you go to lessons dont play. drums isnt hard if you start small, but if you get a big set like pros it could be complicated.

Okay this boy in my year iv'e known him since first school and we've always been good friends. Im 13 by the way.I've been out with him a couple of times but nothing serious just a laugh really. I've always had something for him and a couple of weeks ago he asked me out I said no because i didn't think it was right.Then he asked again and i still felt the same. But now i REALLY REALLY like him.He blanked me today and I feel as though i have no more chances?He's not the same with me and he hardly talks to me. Am i right or can someone out there help?? Finals are coming up and im in 9th grade.. Is it really hard? And how much is it worth like points like. How much does it count on your grade? What happans if you have a D and C for both semesters.. and you get a F on your final. would you get it averaged out between the 3 grades? (link)

normally youll get a study guide, dont worry about it, the teacher will almost always review the week before. for each class it depends how much it is worth, but as for grade point average, i think they go by semester grades, so the d and c would count, but im not 100% sure
