Right now, there is thunder and lightning outside and my dog is freaking out. He is a 2 year old Shih-tzu. I'm trying to calm him down by talking to him and cuddling him but he just keeps shaking and panting and crying. He is shaking so bad it's making this hard to type. Does anyone know of a good way to calm my dog down a bit more? I feel so bad that I can't do anything else for him. =(

I feel like im going to be so left out this summer. I want to go to the pool so badly but I'm afraid no one will want to go with me. I dont have many people on my street that are my age, so yeah..And Im just afraid and I dont want to have anyone over and I feel like people can invite me but I cant invite them. I dont know why. My birthday was a few weeks ago and i wanna have a party, but it has to be GOOD. I dunno what kind to have and stuff, just me switching schools to a kinda school thats not so social, and me already being way shy and stuff hasnt helped.
DUDE give it some time your not giving yourself a chance or anyone else! Open yourself up! You need to be social bc then you will have ALOT more friends! Why dont you join clubs at school and join some other activies and just enjoy yourself and try to make new friends! Try not to be shy and who cares of what other people think of you. You dont always have to hang out with ppl that live in your neighborhood!
I've always had long nails but they've always been shaped roundly but now I changed my mind and want them to be more square.
Loads of people have told me that if you want your nails square it's better to have acrylic nails then your real nails.
Is that true?
what you could do is go to a place (where nails or done) and ask them what to do to improve your nails to your liking... you could also ask them to do them for ya and maybe they could teach you...

i have this friend right. we have been really good friends for a long time but latley she has been bugging the hell out of me. all she ever does is critisize me and disagree. she has such a big ego and it is so annoying. she thinks that only she has the answers. i would stand up to her but i can't i'm at the point to where i am going to explode on whoever back talks me! what should i do? i can't talk to her because she knows everything.

i hang out with my friends at school but i keep very quiet or else someone will start talking crap about me but when im with friends from sports i can relax and just let myself free. when i do something funnywith my freinds at skool they dont think its funny but when i do it with my freinds from softball they laugh soo hard they are crying. but the problem is thAT my friends from sports go to diferent schools than i do. what should i do>?

Theres this boy that goes to my school. His bestfriend had told me that he likes me. I liked him too.
My friends(not with my permission) went up to him and asked"Do you like Kelly(me)" and he said"no, i dont like her" or "its not that i dont like her, i dont really know her"
I got confused so I went up to him myself(a little pissed off) and said"I need to talk to you, do you like me?" he just smiled and changed the subject and said"whats your name? so I told him and he just kept smiling at me.
Hes said hi to me a couple times and is ALWAYS staring at me, hes whistled at me once or twice.
So what im asking is what is he most likley feeling towards me? and how should I aproach him without it being awkward because we are both very shy.

There are some things to help your brother out though like: counseling, milatary school, community service... things like that... dont be scared of him! BE your strong self. Your parents could try talking to people like the ppl i suggested (counseling, milatary school, community service...)

umm just tell him how you feel about this... also diet is just really just eating less and just exercising... i mean you could eat all that you desire to eat and you could exercise it off! hello i am very white and would like to get a tan but i dont want to wait for it to be hot enogh to tan i want the tan now and im only 13 and i cant go in a tanning both my mom wont let me she wont even let me in a tanning bed or spray tan and it also causes cancer so i dont wanna risk it and alot people in my family have had cancer so theres a good chance i wil get it so i dont wanna even spend alot of time in the sun either so i figured a sunless tan i really wanna get jergens sunless tan but i cant find it anywhere so does anyone know where i can get it besides e-bay or other auction places or websites?

The other night at my sleepover I called this guy that I really like. My one friend that was there really likes him too. I told him that he should come over and watch movies with us. We didn't think he'd take it seriously, but he did and he asked if he could come. We told him that my dad would kill me if he did and I know that he really wanted to come over. We told him there was enough room between me and my friend that liked him for him. We think he likes both of us, but we dunno. Does this sound like he likes me more? or what? plz help!!
It all depends on what he is like... like who he pays attention more to and if he like flirts with.. try to get his attention and go for him.. but yeah theres your friend... hmm... you could either get over the guy or go for him... or just find someone new and be a pal letting your friend having him. Or you could explain the situation with your friend on how you feel about him.. your choice i dont want her friend upset.
