Hey! OK so on my tumblr i basically want an about me page but i cant figure it out. I have the "about me" link thing underneath my picture but i cant figure out how to make it go to a diff page to make it about me...is it becuase of my theme?

i think you have to make a post for your "about me" and then when you customize your page you have to do the me:)

I was doing laundry last night and washing some pants. I threw the clothes in without checking the pockets and I guess the Tom Tom was in one of the pairs of pants. It wasn't the entire cycle on warm with the laundry detergent. When I was moving the clothes over to the dryer I saw the TomTom at the bottom under a pair of pants. I didn't really know what to do but it's not even a year old and I can't believe I did this. I didn't turn it on but you can hear the water in it. Is there anything I can do to get the water out, dry the TomTom up, and make it usable again? The GPS has been really handy and I'd hate to have to throw it away and buy a new one (expensive)! Any ideas? It's a touch screen too so it'd have to entail getting water out of a touchscreen if that makes a difference?

they say for cell phones you should put it in a bowl of uncooked rice & it works again. so i would say try that! good luck, i hope it isnt totally broken :/

I don't know what to do with him! I found out from my bff that my bf made a facebook group thing about our relationshp. I went and red a few things on it and it is personal and nothing anybody should know but us so I told him I knew he had a secret he was keeping from me but not what it was so he would tell me or something but he didn't. i kinda thought that he posted stuff and didn't think it was bad and I wanted to give him chances to say so but he just said he didnt have no secrets so i went back to read the rest and he had made it private only so now it is hidden from me.

I guess what I am asking is if he didn't think this was wrong why did he hide it when i found out? He still denies everything and now i got no proof because i cant see it anymore!!! i have been crying about this and i feel betrayed like he has a secret life on facebook or something! should i stay with him if he isn't going to be honest and still hides things?

wow. i know it sounds hard but definitely dont stay with him!! he should not be doing sketchy stuff like that. its one thing if he owns up to it but hes completely hiding it from you!

first you should confront him about it to see what he has to say. like tell him you saw it and be direct. never settle for someone who cant be honest with you!

I got a keyboard for my graduation present from my aunt and uncle. They knew I would love this gift and I do. I am still not very good and I have taken time away from the keyboard.. I am now starting up again. (I know it takes practice)

However, I also eventually want to learn guitar or bass. If I ask for say a guitar for Christmas or my birthday would this be a slap in the face to my aunt and uncle?

if you plan on continuing with piano then no. plus many people play multiple instruments.

on a side note...i think guitar/bass is harder to learn than piano. maybe thats just me but either way.. stick to it and you'll be able to learn just fine!

Well, facebook changed something and now when I click on the edit information it won't being me to the page where you type in family members... It looks like it has everything but... You can edit everything else but that...

on the homepage where your picture is, click where it says edit your profile under your name. then once you're there click relationships on the left sidebar.

yeah standoffish means you seem like you're unfriendly. it's probably because you're shy because i am too and sometimes people think i'm a bitch because of that. but i'm not AT ALL.

I just got a dance team started at the middle school I work for, and we have 11 girls who made the team.

I was wondering what I can do for them on a very limited budget... like I really want them to get little trinkets and whatnot... little gifts here and there for working hard... but I have no clue what to get them.

Being that we are a NEW TEAM, like we have no money. (Uniforms are self funded). So I also need really good fundraiser ideas... but I can already tell you ideas that are out:
-Selling Candy (Can't be sold during the school day).
-Carnation sales (Another organization is doing that).
-Car Washes (Pending, depending on approval)

Any other suggestions... I just really want this to be a succesful program which is why I got it started in the first place, these girls need to be involved and I felt I needed to something. Another reason why I am on such a short budget is because I am only a teachers aide (not making teacher salary), and a full-time univeristy student with BILLS. SO yeah...

Any ideas or suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

well my high school dance team sponsored a zumba fundraiser. i assume you know what zumba is because you dance? but if not, google it. basically they sold tickets during lunch and at the door and the money went to funding the team. i've never done zumba so i dont know if its appropriate for the age group youre dealing with.

my tennis team had window clings made that had our mascot (wildcat) and an "S" on it for the first letter of our town. they were super cheap to make and we sold them to people in school or in town. (make sure to make them universal, not just related to the dance team so that more people will buy)

also we used to do car washes. so we would have some parents help out and then have some members of our team go to a dunkin donuts or our local grocery store to stand outside and collect donations. we also had our window clings there to sell. you could also sell baked goods there.

Ok, so this has been driving me crazy for years now.
People always point out that I speak weird, but no one ever knows what kind of "accent" I have so I'll point out a few words people bring to my attention.

Anything with an "A" right after the first letter, just about, I pronounce differently.
Mad becomes Miad Like (mee-yad)
Sad- Siad
Happy- Hiappy

Anything with O's get stratched out apparently, like when I say no I make it longer or pronounce it like "knew"?

I add the "I" after the beggining letter in a lot of random words like "how" and stuff.
I know it sounds confusing, it'd be so much easier to explain through actually speaking to you haha.

Accent is Axint and the "nt" is very subtle and soft like the endings in French words haha

I'm a cheerleader and this year I'm doing more advanced stunting. I'm a flyer which Is I go in the air. I am able to do a lib which is standing on one foot. I can also do a scorpian but have troble balancing. Any tips? on balancing. Also I need advice on flyin in a basket toss how do you do it!? An I need help on other things like an arabisk? ( idk how to spell it) and when you pull a scorpian how do you hold it and other stretching advice for making scorpians and heel stretches. How do you pull a heel stretch easily? also a tik tock, and a twist pop(AKA a full twist or full down) I can already do a twist but I need tips on how to stay tight in the air and how to get all the way aroun and in the cradle position. I need tips on all of this and how can you fly in a basket toss?

Balance: i know some people who have bought this thing ( http://cheerleading.about.com/od/fitnesshealthandbeauty/gr/mae_flyer.htm ) and it helps with balance. or im sure you can use your imagination and create something similar to use. Also....keeping your eyes on one thing helps you focus and keep balanced.

basket toss: i was never a flyer so im not sure but i remember my coaches saying to do the move (like the toe touch or whatever..i dont remember the names) at your highest point. also just watch youtube videos and analyze their moves/stratagies

stretching: just stretch all the time lol. it really works. the more you stretch, the more flexible you become, and then the easier the stunts will be. again, if you look on youtube for "how to do a scorpian/areobesque/etc" it'll help.

as for the tick tock and twist pop..i have no idea. if you have other flyers on your squad who do these well, ask them for advice! hope i helped you a bit!

i was just there this week! i think islands of adventure is definitely the better park. it has better rides...the harry potter part just opened and it was so awesome, especially if you've seen the movies. universal studios is more for the younger crowd i think. and it has less rides. islands of adventure has a couple water rides too so those are nice since it gets so hot and humid in florida. just ask me for more info if you'd like to know more. hope i helped!

how cam i be a fashion designer?

you've got to learn sewing skills and how to sketch designs. then maybe take classes at college or something. you have to have the passion and if you want to make it big you'll have to move to a major city in most cases. just google information about it and it will help a lot. good luck!

i have a heart thats not tan from using a sticker from tanning, but i layed out outside over the weekend and it got sunburned. now its red, itchy, and welted. what do i do to make it go away?

use aloe. some lotions will say they have aloe in it or you can use straight up aloe from a bottle. if you cant get aloe then just keep the area moisturized, preferably with non-scented lotion. if you go out in the sun again just put sunscreen on it so it doesn't get worse. it may take a few days to go away.

This just randomly popped into my head the other day but when 2 people get divorced does the woman keep the mans last name?

Mary Ann White married John Young and so Mary became Mary Young...then they divorce. Would Mary go back to being Mary White or stay Mary Young? I'm confused

It's the womans choice. If they want their maiden name back they can but many stick with their married name. My mom kept her married name and most people do because it gets confusing if you have kids since they'd have different last names.

I watch a five year old little girl and everytime she goes to the bathroom she doesnt wipe. I try to remind her everytime and even if tell her to she usaly doesnt. Well its getting to be a hard thing to deal with today i was out with my mom and she had to go to the bathroom, i took her and told her to wipe. she comes out wash her hands and we go back to hang with my mom she wont sit down i ask her why she said she didnt want to. i told her to sit down she does then she gets back up after a few mins i smell something. she didnt wipe, she isnt my child so i dont feel right wiping for her or check so me and her have to leave and come home to change and take a bath. how can i make her wipe she refuses to and doesnt seem to care if she gets in trouble. HELP please

i'm not good with kids, but maybe you could "scare" her into wiping. like tell her that something bad will happen if she doesn't. that usually worked for me growing up. this wasnt when i was really little but my mom told me that if you dont floss your teeth then they could fall out just like if a building didnt have its foundation or something. so i always flossed from then on. maybe you could try that tactic...

if you think you MIGHT regret it, then you aren't ready. just cause you like the guy doesnt mean you have to have sex for him to like you back. plus you're only 15...wait until you are truly positive you are ready.

About the corpus callosum, the cerebellum, the cerebral cortex.. all that stuff. What are some good websites with accurate info/pics/vocab, and detailed functions that have maybe helped some of you guys out?

Maybe even an area on the site to learn about the parts and then quizzes later on to take to make the info stick in my mind better.
