I'm turning 20years next month. Me and my fiance had unprotected sex on the 20th of june, missed my periods took a pregnancy test. Which turned out to be positive. Went to the doctor who confirmed that its true.

Me and my fiance are happy about abt the baby. The only problem is dat I'm still a training nurse and I don't know how to tel my parents. I will be 3months tomorrow.

I understand how worried you must be at finding the best way to tell your parents. The best thing to do is start by having dinner with your parents, it's a relaxing setting. Make sure to be calm and casual. You don't want to blurt it out, so be careful with your word choice. Start off with something heartfelt and genuine ("Mom, Dad, you guys have always been great to me and I appreciate everything... I want you to know that I'll always love you and the news that I'm about to tell you is big, but I feel it's a blessing. I love [insert fiance name] very much and it seems like we'll be starting our family a little earlier than we thought..." and just go from there. If you are calm and sincere about your words, your parents should understand no matter how strict. [Trust me, my parents are strict Asian parents who have no tolerance for anything and even they accepted it]. Blessings to you and your family.

I´m 16 years old and I go to the gym three times a week (tops). I´ve been told to drink protein shakes to accelarate the process of gainning muscle. I´m a little afraid of side effects, tough I want to drink them. Also my parents aren´t so open about it and forbid me because they aren´t "natural".

I can buy them without them knowing, though I feel bad for doing something like that behind their backs. I really want to start taking them right away but I dont know what to do !!!!!!

My fiance takes whey protein all the time after he hits the gym. He's personally never had any side effects. To best honest, the best thing to do is not lie to your parents. If you really want to gain muscle weight quickly, eat plenty of lean protein (steaks, chicken, etc.) along with a multi-vitamin every morning so you'll get your necessary dosage of nutrients. I know that its bad to do, but I want to go from brunette to blonde by myself. What is some good hair dye that will get the job done? Last time i tried blonde dye from garnier fructis and it didnt do anything.

Also I saw a commercial for hair dye that is meant for drastic changes like this but i cannot remember the name of it to save my life. It might of been 'vibrant' or 'vivid' something. But idk :/

since you are going from dark to light, you'll kill your hair if you use drugstore products to try and bleach it. plus, it will honestly take you maybe 4-5 applications of it just to turn it orangy-yellow. if you really wanna do it yourself, go to a sally beauty supply because you're gonna need the right dye, toners, etc. for your hair. don't worry if you don't know what to get, sally beauty usually has a specialist working who knows what to do for dying dark to light. hope i helped

i don't know if this is what you're looking for, but to me i feel like it's considered a bit different. my fiance and i are both asian; but, i'm korean (east asian) and he's laos (southeast asian). yea, we're the same race, but not many people know that it's actually very different for us. a lot of east asians (korean,japanese,chinese) don't like southeast asian people (thai, laos,viet, etc). east asians think southeast asians are "dirty, uncivilized" just because they're a 3rd world country and darker than us. yea, asian people are prejudice against they're own kind, who knew. either way, those are definitely not my beliefs. i love my fiance and he's perfect! it took my parents a little bit more time, but they love him now :) hope i helped

So, my boyfriend & I are having our one-year anniversary next week :) The thing is, I'm broke :|
So, I guess I'm going DIY for this one. But I have NO clue what to do for him... I guess a hand-made card is a given, but I've made him 4 unique ones already for christmas, valentine's day, our six months, and his birthday. i've run out of creative ideas! so i guess first of all, does anyone have any ideas on like some kind of creative template for a card? I'll put my own spin on it, of course. But between a pop-up, a heart-shaped, a giant card, a collage, I can't think of any other cheesy cute creative thing I can do with a card. Maybe something with 365 incorporated into it...? I don't know.
Also, anything else I can make him? I know everyone says a frame with a picture of us or something, but we don't really have any...the few that we actually have he already used on a gift for me, so I'd rather not go with that. Any other ideas?
Finally... I want this in addition to e corny little mug. I have a small cheap DIY mug kit that I bought, but the paint it came with, I don't like the colors. I have a little pack of craft paints I wanted to use but I think they'll wash right off... is there anything I can use to seal it all? I was thinking nail polish top coat but I'm not sure it'll hold up..?

when my fiance and i had our one year anniversary, i didn't have much money either. i had kept old things from our first few dates (movie stubs, football game tickets, the receipt from our first restaurant, etc. things like that) and i grabbed some pics of us together and created a scrapbook :) if you can spare a few dollars, you can go to the dollar store and they have cute things for scrapbooks like stickers and etc. he loved it! hope i helped

Im a 19 year old female and im struggling with using a tampon. I have had sex, and can guide my finger, however when it comes to a tampon and inserting one... i'm hopeless! i've gotten to that point where i need to rely on tampons, i want to be able to not be limited because i cant use a tampon whilst on my period.

I follow the directions on the packaging and the suggested positions and everything, and even used slim tampons designed for first time use....and i just cannot do it. I dont understand when i can fit a penis and my finger, yet as soon as i even start to put the tampon in, it begins to expand and i cant put it in further, i know its not in far enough because the bottom is still visible and i know its suposed to be a finger length deep inside.
Ive gone through several tampons trying to sucessfully insert one. and sometimes they have been painful trying to get out because they've already absorbed liquad and are huge. I dont know what to do :( i really want to be able to use them, so i can go swimming with my boyfriend, not have the uncomfortableness of a pad, be able to have one handy in my handbag more discreetly then a pad etc etc.

this is going to sound so weird, but it works for me. i used to have a lot of trouble using those darn things too. what i do is i just lay on my back on the bed as if i were about to have sex (you really need to relax). i know it sounds strange, but it's honestly the best position and it helps relax you. just insert the tampon slowly and release it. if you did it right, you shouldn't be able to feel much of it in you at all. i hope i helped.

every year my fiance and i get each other something that reminds us of our first date or one of our many dates before we made it official. for example, we once went to an aquarium for one of our dates, one year he gave me a stuffed shark from the same museum because he remembered it was my favorite exhibit. think back to when you first met or started dating or whenever, and think of what you can get him that would remind him of that day. hope i helped :)

Hey guys, I was wondering how much time is normal to spend with your boyfriend. When me and my boyfriend first went out we spend almost everyday together. We do spend time together, but like every other day, like 3 to 4 times a week now. We been together 5 months. And I just want to hear from other people how much time is normal to spend with your boyfriend/girlfriend?

there's no "normal" amount of time to spend with your boyfriend. my fiance and i have been together for years and we live together so we see each other everday. but we both have school and work and we sometimes go out with our friends or we'll hang out all together with everyone. as long as it's not an obsession, or get in the way of you hanging out with friends or family, it's perfectly fine whatever time you spend with your significant other!

I earned about 320 dollars from coaching a little league sports team during their whole season. I'm 18 and currently unemployed. I applied for another job but haven't gotten a response back. I don't really know what to do with my money. I can either blow it all and buy clothes (I REALLY need to update my wardrobe.. i haven't gotten a new outfit for probably a year and half. I just really need some new clothes haha I'm sick of wearing the same stuff) Or I can put it in my savings, earn more money, and then spend all of that later in the summer (considering i only have 2 weeks left of school).

so should I spend it now? or save it and wait until I have more money to buy clothes?

Also- if you say I should spend it now- do you recommend any places or ideas on how I can get a bunch of clothes for a cheap price? I was thinking Platos Closet since there are name brand clothes (so they are still cute) but cheaper. I don't really care if they are already worn. I just really need some new clothes haha. if you can handle it, i would say save half in your savings and spend the other half. when i have extra money left after bills, that's what i usually do because then i feel good about saving while buying just a couple items for myself. try that!

I am a teenage girl who obviously loves shopping :) But the thing is, I don't have anyone to go shopping with. My mom lives very far away. I don't really have many girl friends. The girl friends I do have, well it would be awkward to go shopping with them since I don't know them very well and we barely hang out outside of school. I haven't really gone shopping and bought something since a year ago. I have gone shopping though with my boyfriend.. but I always come home empty handed. I just always feel bad dragging him with me to go shopping for clothes. Since I don't have anyone to really go shopping with... should i just go shopping alone? I've never shopped alone before, it sounds scary. I don't want to look like a loner. When I'm in the mall, I see girls my age who are always with a group of friends. I just don't want people to see me and be like "oh she's alone. sad."

honestly, there's nothing wrong with shopping by yourself. i do it all the time. trust me, there's nothing to worry about, believe it or not, no one's looking at you or saying anything about you being alone. to be honest, no one really cares who you're with when you're shopping! haha. i love going shopping by myself because i don't have to rush and can take my time trying outfits on. you don't feel guilty dragging people along and it's actually nice to give yourself some "me" time. try it and you'll realize it's very refreshing.

Okay I currently have a boyfriend. Juts to make that clear. Last night I hung out wit one of my guy friends josh till like really late, n I ended up passign out on his bed and I woke up wrapped in my own blanket up wit him passed out 2.he woke up and grabbed some of the covers and right then his sister walked in. His sister goes to my school and everyone in the house assumes that we did something but nothing happened at all, I just fell asleep. I feel really guilty that I stayed the night considering I do have a boyfriend and I know he would be pissed if he found out. Did I do something wrong and should I feel guilty. It was like 4 in the morning when I passed out and I left at 8. I know I should have left but since nothing happened and we really stayed away from each other until he needed covers did I do something wrong and should I feel as guilty as I do

i personally don't think you did anything wrong. as long as you guys don't have feelings for each other and you guys didn't do anything that night, then why should it matter? my boyfriend doesn't like it when i spend the night at my guy friends' house either, but he knows that they're like my brothers and he trusts me. maybe one day you can talk to your bf about it! don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong, it was an honest mistake!

Okay, I straighten my hair when i go place, due to my hair being so short, plus the fact that it's cute. lol.


As pretty much everyone knows, heat is bad for your hair.

well, I've had fried hair before, and its really ugly.


that's why i got my hair cut actually.


So, i use t=his product paul mitchell, and it's spray for extra conditioning, and such.

I also use it to maintain a somewhat healthyness.

Does anyone know any product i could use for my hair to keep it from being fried?

and make it healthier?

like a spray?

i always torture my hair too with products, straighteners, and curlers so i completely understand. if these things can work for my overworked hair, it can work for yours too! first, i use dove shine therapy shampoo and conditioner, i leave in the conditioner for about 3-5 minutes depending on how bad my hair is. then before i style my hair, i use sedu volumizing heat protection boost (it not only protects your hair from heat, it enhances the effectiveness of your blowdryer too)!

I'm frustrated with people thinking I am much older than I am. I feel like I'm still young and should be able to experience youth while I still can. However, there are a lot of fashions I like but am afraid to wear because they might be "too young" for me.

I was wondering: How do you know what is appropriate to wear for your age?

Should I be more daring so people know that I'm 21, and not 35?

You can still be sexy while being classy! Things like pairing a high waisted skirt with a cute top will keep you looking youthful yet people won't think you're immature. Also, jeans and heels are great together with a tee (dressy/casual at the same time). The best advice I can give you is to pair high end pieces with low end pieces, dressy clothes with casual clothes and you'll have the perfect outfit.

what does i mean when someone says oh i went to third base with them or oh i got to second base with them. like i know what all the way is but what do the rest of the bases stand for?

1st base: holding hands, hugging, kissing, making out, etc.

2nd base: making out, going under clothes, etc.
