advice here from college students would be greatly appreciated!!! i'm 19 and just started at Boston University this September, but i live in Chicago. at first it was the normal homesickness, missing friends and family, and having it be hard to be 1800 miles away from home. things started getting better, but for some reason, i can't see to make myself happy here. i have a few friends here, but no guys friends (that's partly due to the fact that i live on an all girls floor, and also partly my fault, so i won't complain about that) i'm really close with a couple of the girls on my floor, and one or two other people, but that's pretty much it. i feel lonely here, and as hard as i try, i can't stop thinking about home and missing it. part of that has to do with the fact that i have a bf who's in college but still lives in chicago, so i only get to see him when i come home. i know im supposed to have fun and be experiencing college, but i feel like i'm missing out on so much, but i don't know how to fix it! i don't know how to make myself accept the fact that i'm in college, and NOT at home, and be HAPPY with that. i want to be happy here, and i want to have a good time. please help me. any advice will be greatly appreciated. thanks (link)

Dude i just think u should go home on the weekends and try to get more involed.. like i used to not like goin to church.. cuz i didn't no ne one.. but i got involed and now i love it!

hey sweetie..question!:) my boyfriends birthday is coming up on sep. 3rd..and the same day is our 6 month ann. my first varsity soccer game and his 17th birthday. i already got him gifts, but i wanted to know what else can i get him..or surprise him with. i was going to hang out with him that night and do stuff with him like normal - but make it all about him..but i have my game..are there any little things you can think of? thanks!!

o ya! this is what i do in the summer in but lemon juice on my hair and then go sit out in the sun for a little bit.. ask ur mom and she can help u.. i have brown hair so it gives it a blonde-ish effect kinda!!!

Okay, so here's my deal, I kinda have this crush on a guy...in fact it's one of my friend's ex bf...i'm not sure if i want to start liking this guy! He hurt her real bad apparently...but it's like someone is going to get hurt when you break up so i'm not sure how important that is! and here's some teenage soap opera drama to add to the deal, my friend who's ex bf i know like is the girl who MY ex bf cheated on. So like, i'm not really should if i should like this guy...i can't help myself though! should i try to find another guy? and if i shouldn't how should do you straight out tell him that you like him? Well i have this really great great guy friend! Like my best best guy friend. We've known eachother for a really long time. Well im kinda liken him more than a best friend now. lol but he is goin for like tha older girls. and hes always askin me who should i go out with and i always wanna say " well uve got a pretty good best friend right here thats worth a try but i think he thinks we are just best friends and thats all. Well i went out with this guy for a while and then i decided to break up with him. Well i had my 2 friends do it and i think he would have rather me do it somewhere else like where no one was around like tha phone or im. I might have embarassed him i don know. If it did i didn't meen too. Anyway, now hes movin like at the 3rd six weeks and we havn't talked since our breakup and i really don't want him to leave thinking that i am a stuck up brat which i really don't think i am i want to make sure we are still good friends. I really want to talk to him but i don know if he wants to talk to me. I am afraid to walk up to him cause he might just walk away! Just go talk to him! I've gone up to guys before to check if they were mad @ me after a fight! They didn't care!!! lol but u gotta talk to him so if he does think ur a brat u have to set that straight that ur not! I hope i helped!!!!

well, im an only child and i really want a sister or brother. i really dont want my parents to adopt because then my sibling would not be a blood relative. im 14 and i really dont want my mom to have a baby because i think she might be a little to old. im soo lonly and all of my friends live a long way away and usually my mom wont have any time to have then over or bring me to their houses. im sooooo lonly and have had nothing to do all summer long.please help me!!!!!!!!!! Ok heres what i do... like 3 times a week... 20 mins of lifting five pound weights ( bring them up slowly and down slowly )then 20 crunhes, 5 pushups and u can pick otehr stuff to make u more fit! I hope i helped!! .:MaD:.

I'm a freshmen and during my first three weeks 3 guys have showed interest in me. I really like the personalities of all 3 but theyre all so different! Okay..guy #1...he is also a freshmen, he's hot, and hes a good christian and everything, but ive never seen him get really crazy and i do that sometimes and i like to not be the only one ya know lol....guy #2 hes a sophmore...hes funny and really nice to me..he doesnt make good grades though...he is susposed to be a junior..or maybe even a senior im not 100% sure, he rides my bus and hes not the hottest guy but hes DEFINATELY not ugly...hes kinda like eminem..he doesnt look ANYTHING like him but hes on the same level of hotness...guy #3...hes a senior..it would be really cool to go out w/ an upperclassmen..i could probably meet new upperclassmen that way as well..well, neways, i REALLY REALLY REALLY like his personality...hes a good guy..but he isnt very good looking...i know that sounds shallow and i dont mean it to be im just trying to give pros and cons here...hes not incredibly bad but hes got dark brown hair and glasses..hes not very "built" and he doesnt really have the same style as most of the people i hang out with...so if you were in my position what guy would you choose? can you give me your reasoning too? also, i was wondering if you all could put them in order like "this guy 1st, this 2nd, and this 3rd"...sorry this is so long!! you deserve a 5 just for reading this!! lol so i will definately rate you good! Ok i would definalty say go with guy #1,he's hot *good*, he's a christian *great* and he makes good grade n he's n ur grade. Guy#2 should NEVER b an chioce because he does drugs and he's doesn't make good grades. He would definalty treat u rong. And guy #3 i'm not sure about because i guess he would b okay it's just he's a senior so when he goes off to collage.. well.. u no.. meet other girls and stuff. So if u ask me.. go with numbero uno!!lol I hope i helped!!

i have this one friend... lets call her Liz.. Liz always used to come over my house, we always used to hang out.. there wasnt a day where we werent together.. cuz she lives rite down tha road.. but all of a sudden.. this summer.. she never comes over..she never calls.. n i never hear from her.. then i found out she was hangin w/ another girl that was a few years younger \than us.. I TOTALLY DONT MIND THAT but i mean i never see her any more.. the girl she hangs out with doesnt like me so i dont bother hangin out with them wen they r together.. but i feel like mah 2nd half has been torn away!

My brother is in Iraq, and hes only 21! it hurts so bad! hes my best friend and i'm only 13! he had to stay till next may and i cant send a lot of stuff and neither can he! what can i do? all my language arts projects are on him too! i wrote and 10 page story about a memory and he was it! can someone help me find out how to keep in touch and live my life not worrying soo much about him?
