Okay, so, im 15, and im going into my first year at high school. Its summer and there is this soar program (summer school basically) the introduces me into algebra. The thing is, I am like majorly terrified! what will high school be like once the year starts? will the people be nice? the school is like a maze, im gonna get lost for sure, I am so scatter brained! What should do? Does any one have advice for starting the school year or surviving the treacherous mayhem of algebra and puzzling world I am now cursed with?
I'm 14 in the 9th grade, so this is my first year of high school too. Dont be afraid or paranoid. Algebra sn't too hard, i took it in 7th and 8th grade. My school is like a maze too. Dont be nervous, no one else knows what they are doing, either. The people are more mature than in junior high school kids so i guess they may be nicer and more open minded. just chill. everybody is a freshmen at one point in their life.

Go running, swimming, jump roping, or on a bike. Any cardio-vascular excercize is good for toning your whole body down, not just your stomach.

well just before i walked into 7-11 with my little sister and this guy who looked about 14 was with his friends and he was like "i dont know you" and i turned around thinking he was talking to me and he was. so i just gave him a weird look. and hes like "REALLY I DONT" so then i walked away and i was whispering to my sister about him and he saw me and like smiled. um, is there any reason he did that big scene?
He was probably trying to flirt with you---you know how boys act when theyre 14 or so. I should know...i'm 14. Well the scenario does.nt seem to make much sense but he was probably just trying to show off to his friends.

I dated this guy for like six weeks, feelings got involved mostly on my behalf, but I broke it off because he freaks when he gets close to people and I didnt wanna get hurt, hes too young (17, and I am 21) and I felt like I paid for everything (His train down to see me, cinema, food, clubbing, presents) he only ever got me one thing on valentines day that cost £3.00. He also meets peps for random sex off the net, and is well known as a whore. It gets worse as I HAVE to see him every week in my youth group, and I still have feelings for him. My friends define him as poison, how do I deal with this situation of seeing him every week, and Ijust know hes gonna sleep around the group, and hurt me more...I have been so depressed these past two weeks.
i think you should drop him because he sounds like a lousy boyfriend. you gotta find a man who's your age and can take care of you and PAY sometimes. About the youth group thing, just try to keep your mind off of him. i knoe that its hard, but its possible to forget about him....you dont need him anyway!!!

ok so my friend sabrina is coming to sleepover either 2morrow or the next day. situation: my best guy friend has invited me up to his farm to go horseriding... i will have to sleep over there.
Problem: last time i went to his place we got totally blind and ended up making out. he got my top off before i came to my senses and stopped.(it went no further) i told him that i thought it was wrong and i didn't want to ruin our friendship. he said that it was okay and we worked through it and saved our friendship. i know he still likes me - he told me so - but i dont like him. i told him that i would only go if he behaves himself. he said "i wont do anything, dont worry." but i'm not sure.

so a few weeks ago i started a new diet. i'm just eating healthier; more fruit, vegetables and healthier alternatives to food i used to eat. but ever since i started i've been having to go to the bathroom alot more. is this normal? will my body eventually get used to this new food?
Yes, that is normal, i think it's because your body isn't used to all those nutricious foods and it is not used to being so healthy and it dosn't know how to process it. Don't worry.

It feels like everything I do doesn't make a difference. I always feel like screaming and running away. I feel like running away from my problems all the time, but I know I will never get anything solved if I do get away. What should I do when I get down like that? I think that you should stop thinking about killing yourself and you should get into sports or something social.....I know it's hard, but you can do it. By the way, have you ever heard the song "Hold on" by Good Charlotte? I'm not a big fan of Good Charlotte or rock music, but you should take the advice in that song.

Like if you wear a tube top after wearing a bathing suit that ties around your neck, or if you had cris cross straps on your back. I dont know if this is the right cateorgory but w/e. Ok well let me put it this way my classmates most of them are jerks. Well see the thin is i am smart like really smart and my classmates make fun of me for it because i get all 100% on my tests and quizzes. and they also hate the fact that when we have a huge test and we have to write stuff down i dont take notes because i rember it all and then i get higher grades then the people that wrote it all down. so i guess what i am asking is how can i get my class to stop annoying and makin fun of me because i am so smart.
First of all, don't ever let anyone tell you that being smart is a bad thing. It is a gift from God, just like any talent in the world. Don't be ashamed!!!
