Advicenators discussion: It's been awhile...

Cux wrote Sunday June 22 2008, 7:20 pm:
What are you up to?
isis wrote Monday June 23 2008, 7:25 am:
Hi Jack,

I've been away for a while as my dad died unexpectedly at Christmas. It's taken a long time to work through the total trauma of it as we're a very close family but I'm getting there. I'm still having bereavement counselling and have a 'wobble' occasionally, but I guess that's to be expected. DN, YG and MM knew and they've been fantastic support, understanding that I couldn't cope with answering questions about other peoples problems when I felt so lost myself.

However, I'm back now and slowly getting into it again.

It's good to know that you're still around keeping everyone cheerful. :)

That's good to hear, and I'm sorry about your father. I think I remember you saying something about that around Christmas, actually.

Advicenators is a nasty addiction, eh?

[And of course by nasty I mean it's hard to keep away ;)]
isis wrote Monday June 23 2008, 3:50 pm:
It certainly is, despite the lack of grammer, spelling and original questions lol.
Cux wrote Monday June 23 2008, 11:53 pm:
Even still, I'm answering more questions and whatnot =]
isis wrote Tuesday June 24 2008, 6:21 pm:
At least your answers are good ones Jack, a lot are enough to make a person shudder lol.

It won't be long before we're into the halloween and trick or treat questions again. How time flies. :)

Cux wrote Wednesday June 25 2008, 11:59 pm:
Haha, yeah.

But I'm pretty excited for the "I'm a freshman" questions, asking about high school. I love my answer to that ;]

It also won't be long until we have "WHAT DO I GET MY BFFFFFFFFFLzz for Christmas, lolzzz rofloleirnbitttsaatrtmpas?"

I actually came up with the rofl...

Rolling on the floor, laughing out loud, except not really, because I think that these stupid abbreviations are the reason that many people are strange.

Clever, eh?

OMG! Love it! You should patent it.

I have a question.

What does your username mean?

Maybe I've already asked that, but I've always wondered.
isis wrote Thursday July 17 2008, 9:51 am:
Isis is the main goddess of the Ancient Egyptians. She was the wife of Osiris and mother to Horus. If you don't know, it's pronounced Eyesis. :)

I've always been fascinated by Egyptology so it seemed like a good idea at the time!

Anyway, you're one to talk! What's the deal with yours?
Cux wrote Sunday July 20 2008, 8:40 pm:
Haha for now it's on a need-to-know basis, especially since it's inappropriate, but I don't use it for the inappropriateness; I use it because I know that no one else will have it. =]
isis wrote Monday July 21 2008, 9:37 am:
I will wait with breath suitable bated for the general release of the reasons! :)
Cux wrote Tuesday August 5 2008, 3:12 pm:
Haha. I'm glad to hear you're more patient than Kate xD.
isis wrote Wednesday August 6 2008, 6:18 pm:
You don't get this old without learning patience. However, at some point my patience will start to run thin and then I shall start nagging! So, be warned, lol.
Cux wrote Monday August 18 2008, 8:38 pm:
Haha. It should be within a few months.
Cux wrote Sunday August 2 2009, 10:49 pm:
I'm so sorry about your dog. If you ever need to talk, of course I'm here.

Prayers are with you. =]
isis wrote Monday August 3 2009, 3:30 am:
Thanks Jack, I'm so broken up about it, I've just had a string of tragedies and traumas for the last couple of years and it's getting a little hard to cope with it, and wondering what's going to hit me next.

I really do appreciate your concern and thank you again.
