Advicenators discussion: Hey

TheAnnie wrote Sunday April 13 2008, 8:55 pm:
thought I would just come by and say "Hi"
Mackenzie wrote Sunday April 13 2008, 10:59 pm:
Noroc! With a side of, Goddag! ;)

Did I do that properly, Alin??
Alin75 wrote Monday April 14 2008, 8:35 am:
Hi Ainne :) thanks for dropping by.

And lol Mackenzie where did you learn those words? Cheers and goodday right back at you :D
TheAnnie wrote Wednesday April 16 2008, 12:44 am:
What language is that?
Alin75 wrote Wednesday April 16 2008, 1:42 am:
Noroc is Romanian. It means literally "luck", but it is also the word for "cheers". The second is Danish and means hello, or good day.
Mackenzie wrote Wednesday April 16 2008, 11:29 pm:
Oh Alin, perhaps I'm just one smart cookie? Thou shall not underestimate Mackenzie's mass intelligence. ...Or more likely, I just Googled some foreign greetings. Hmm, yeah, that sounds about right! La revedere! ;)
Alin75 wrote Thursday April 17 2008, 5:15 pm:
Just for the record I'm not buying that whole google thing at all...
TheAnnie wrote Sunday May 4 2008, 9:37 pm:

Al, you always type out all the great fitness answers that I never feel like explaining lol.

How's your cert coming along?
Alin75 wrote Wednesday May 7 2008, 5:07 pm:
Hey Mike. Thanks for the compliment :D

I am still working on the exam lol. Its like giving birth to an elephant since I have so many other things going at the same time. Got to the last section on learning experiences. With any luck I can send it off early next week.

Welcome back to advicenators btw, have not seen you around for a while.
MikeCFT wrote Thursday May 8 2008, 5:46 pm:
Thanks, Al. I've just been busy lately. You know how it is.

Good to hear that the cert is progressing along. The learning experiences and the case studies were the parts I hated about that test lol. Is it still 6 experiences?

Definitely keep that book handy for when you start training...I still refer to it all the time.
Alin75 wrote Friday May 9 2008, 2:28 am:
Yeah its still 6 questions (one selection from 6 sections). Its a pretty comprehensive test, I guess that would be one of the differences between ISSA and some of the less recognised organisations.

I totally agree about the book. I really like it and its already proved very useful.

Two of my friends ordered the nutrition and endurance trainer courses. They havent got around to taking the test or anything, but I am looking forward to reading their books as well when I am done with this stuff.

Doesnt seem fair though, our book is bigger than both of their's combined :D

Hey! How have you been?
Alin75 wrote Saturday June 7 2008, 5:13 pm:
Hey Jack. I've been ok. Bit busy I suppose but otherwise same old same old... How are you doing?
Cux wrote Wednesday June 11 2008, 7:33 pm:
I'm doing good. My last day of the 10th grade is tomorrow! I have exams, though =/.

I can't wait to have those summer nights spent on Advicenators =D
