Advicenators discussion: Howdy! Mackenzie wrote Wednesday February 27 2008, 4:24 am: I just wanted to send a quick Hello your way!
I read about your "bereavement", and I think that is terrible news. I wish you and yours the best. I hope you take all of the time out you need to recuperate.
I hope you know that we all notice your absence around here. I am sure I speak for everybody when I say, we anxiously await your return. :) isis wrote Sunday March 2 2008, 11:19 am: Hi, thanks for that, it's really appreciated.
My much loved dad died suddenly just before Christmas of an anurism, so we didn't know there was anything wrong with him. We have my mum living with us at the moment as she is so devasted by the loss. They were married for 52 years and I am their only child.
I feel the pain of his loss so much I can't focus on dealing with giving advice at the moment. I have told DN that I will be back when I feel I can cope more, but I do drop by just to check up on how things are going on the site. I've not deserted completely.
I do miss everyone here and promise I will be back.
Thanks again for your message, you would not believe how much it meant to me to read it.
Take care x Brandi_S wrote Tuesday March 25 2008, 7:16 am: I miss you, isis! :-( *sob, sob*
I often pop over to your page to see if you've updated, but it just dawned on me to look in your forum!
I hope you and your family are doing well. You have a special place in my thoughts.
I'm glad to hear your mom is living with you. I wager that it's good for both of you to be each other's support system through this hard time.
Hang in there, take it one day at a time, and I'll be glad to see you back when that day comes!
I'll be off for a while. I'm going in the morning to have this new baby boy. I'll have Mom send you the link to his hospital page if you want. I'm going to have her keep info posted in her forum, too.
By the way, if you didn't know already, I changed my handle...
Thinking of you-
Brandi (formerly known as ygsgirl)
