My nana gave me a real gold and pearl necklace for my 17th birthday. I was wondering is it safe to wear it in the shower or will it ruin the pearls?

Personally, I wouldn't wear it in there. I only wear my body jewelery in the shower and 2 rings, but I'm always checking to make sure they are ok. If you want to clean them however, for as funny as it sounds, use toothpaste and a toothbrush LOL
