Is there a chance of pregnancy?
I've recently started on the Microgyon 30 Birth Control pill (the reason for this is my irregular periods, 35-38 cycle and contraception) My doctor advised me to take the pill on the first day of my period so I did, however on the 4th day of taking it, I stopped bleeding and I had unprotected sex with my partner. It's now been a week since intercourse and I'm having brown spotting that has lasted a couple of days with quite weird cramping that I would describe as pulling/stretching far below my stomach. I was more than sure I would of been protected as my doctor did say you are instantly protected if you start it on the first day of your period. What are the odds of me being pregnant? I also checked my cervix which is low and soft! Has anyone ever experienced this situation I'm in? Can anyone help?
